Every man should have a skill and for Vincent S. Daggerhood, that skill was thieving. Quick with his hands, there was no loot he couldn't plunder and no treasure chest he couldn't escape with.

For Daggerhood, life was good, until come that fateful day he was finally caught and in the name of justice, to pay for his crimes, he was cast into the forsaken caverns.

But this is not the end of Daggerhood's story, for this is the beginning. Filled with the desire for freedom and a craving for retribution, Daggerhood has set his sights on stealing the King's gold and armed with a dagger he can throw and reclaim by teleporting to its current position, across 100 levels, he's going to need your help!

Daggerhood isn’t a platformer built with everyone in mind. In fact, even a few die-hards may find it to be a little too difficult. If you’re looking for a platformer that’s far-flung from the easier titles the genre is known for, it’s not a bad place to start. It may be the only Nintendo Switch eShop title under $5 that not only gives you more bang for your buck but has an incredible amount of polish.

Daggerhood belongs to the subgenre of "difficult platform games", and as such it will be a great challenge to get to master it and clear its 100 levels. These levels are well designed and have very varied mechanics, but only those who enjoy this great difficulty will value the title properly.

Daggerhood is a great platformer style game with simplicity and difficulty put together. The game is hard at normal level and with addedDaggerhood is a great platformer style game with simplicity and difficulty put together. The game is hard at normal level and with added challenges can become insane. The fun factor is it’s replay value no over the top issues with dying just start right back from go and take what you’ve learned to keep pushing forward, with the levels being small short runs once you figure out the mechanics it becomes addictive to try and keep moving forward. The great game design and bang for your buck is well worth this price. But only if you love the challenge of a grinding platform and simplistic retro style games that bring something new to the table as well Daggerhood is your game. Expand

Frustrating game with way too hard difficulty, the game is obessed with swapping your character into the Retry Level screen. Speedrun basedFrustrating game with way too hard difficulty, the game is obessed with swapping your character into the Retry Level screen. Speedrun based levels with zero levels that are not speedrun. Your normal jump is 2 pixels high and your second jump is 2 pixles more, the game damands high accuracy with 0.01 clock ticking on screen to show you how well your accuracy must be. It is all "rush rush rush rush" while the limited jump pulling you like magnet towards the one hit spike that are found all over the place.
    Wasted money.
