    I finished it ! What i can say about it ?
    Pros :
    A pretty, good game. 30 fps is outstanding for the switch an it looking so good. The gameplay is one of the more dense i've ever seen in a game of this genre. Only on Switch :) Cons : The story is ovbious but well writed with deep details of the world You will need to swap on the preset C for the best experience Flat texture on the    I finished it ! What i can say about it ?

    As for the game, some of them mentioned that it is pure button mashing. I'm guessing you are playing it on the easiest difficulty cause on PT standard, you actually need to time your dodges. And some people saying OH 30FPS 30 FPS. Just shhhh I'm losing brain cells reading your review.

    NOW MY ACTUAL REVIEW:
    Game is great with the mix of combat and investigation but I find myself drained from the sensory overload after playing each chapter and I'll need to take a break to recharge before playing another chapter. But this is a good thing i guess so I won't clear it over the weekend and be left with nothing to do waiting for a new game hahaha.    … Expand

    I can't put this game down from how beautiful it is. From the characters, to the sidequests, to the graphics, to the gameplay, to the story. It has all blown me away. Ignore those who are acting like children because it is exclusive to the switch. Pokemok is exclusive to the switch and it isn't made by nintendo

    Las personas que puntuais bajo sin ni si quiera saber de que va este maravilloso juego, dos opciones: tenéis 10 años papi y mami no os quiere comprar la switch y lo haceis por una rabieta de niño pequeño o sois personas ridículas y vacías sin una vida a la que prestarle atención.

    Juegazo, un imprescindible en tu switch. BSO brutal, dificultad un game, complejo sistema de bosses, gráficos espectaculares... vamos, que si buscas un juego que te mantenga con los 5 sentidos puestos en el, no dudes en comprártelo.

    O rage que a comunidade têm dado se deve ao alto preço do jogo, concordo que o preço está alto, mas o trabalho dos desenvolvedores foi excelente. Nota 10

If you’re reading this and actually care about whether the game is good, be aware that it’s been review bombed for exclusivity reasons, and there are many great independent reviewers on YouTube that have covered this game.

    This game is definitely not perfect, but it is very very good. It is not 100% polished and my not live up to the hype, but if you have realistic expectations going in you will have some fun for sure.

    Great visuals, solid combat and a mix of genres make this another win for platinum games.

    Reserve your judgements till after File 03 as everything really opens up then. Was not expecting handheld mode to run as great as it does and beautiful to boot.

    Dont console hate, actually play the game, you will not regret it.

    Amazing game, Platinum has done it again. Graphics, Music and gameplay are all great. Once you unlock more gameplay mechanics and get the hang of them combat becomes very satisfying. Would highly recommend to all action game fans.

    Don't believe all the sad boy PlayStation and Xbox review bombers out there giving this game a zero.. they obviously never played this game because they don't own a Switch or are some weird fan boys of other games they wish came out instead of this game. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are beautiful, the level up system is great and unlock a bunch of neat abilities for your Legions. The only reason I never gave it a 10 was because your character isn't voiced. All talking is done by the other character you don't pick.. minor thing I know.. but here we are lol. Do yourself a favor and pick up this game! I hope this is the beginning of a multi game series because if the second game is half as good as this one it will be an easy day one buy for me again!… Expand

Great combat, the graphics are very pleasing and the 30 fps isn't that bad at all. The story is interesting. Everythings great. Its worth a buy even if you never played any of Platinum Games games.     Excelente juego lo recomiendo mucho, es sensacional en todos los apartados.

    Y no se dejen engañar por la puntuación que tiene el "User Score" porque está siendo manipulada por haters y fanboys, mejor hagan caso a la puntuación del Metascore.

    I am giving Astral Chain a solid 9 out of 10. It's not perfect perfect but it's perfect — one or two things I wish they'd implemented would be the possibility to freely explore the city. But that's really a point I would have loved. Besides that, the game play is smooth. I didn't encounter any real fps drops. I am playing AC in dock mode so cannot say anything about the performance inI am giving Astral Chain a solid 9 out of 10.     Playing as a cop in a anime cyberpunk setting is what brought me to this game......also its Platinum studio. can't go wrong.
    Combat is enjoyable, story line is very interesting and engaging, music, setting and atmosphere is perfect combination also lot of nice asses.     Platinum Games at its finest. Best action game out there, probably only going to be topped by Bayonetta 3. So good, it's making immature non Switch owners that much jealous as to review bomb this AAA gem they will never be able to get. Even more value is added to the package, if you are one of the lucky ones like me, that got a Collector's Edition.

    The game is Gorgeous and amazing. Gameplay is exactly what i expected for and nothing less. Awesome and maybe the best combat game i played till now on switch and the story-characters are really well planned out.
    Obviously some b**hurt people rate this with zero having no clue or just hating. Let me make it up with a straight 10.

    Astral Chain is a good video game in all sections. Its playability is wide, it's not just a hack and slash. The sound section is brilliant, the story is good and intriguing. It is also a game with a great graphic and design section.

    You will have tons of action and hours of fun, this game is also replayable. Dont doubt because of the sony trolls retinue, this game is awesome.

    Genuinely one of the coolest games I've ever played, with such a beautifully crafted world, atmosphere, battle mechanics and just general aesthetics. That's what this game is full of, none of which these losers review bombing this will ever be able take away from it ;)

    I really love this game. Not really been able to put it down much. It's got an anime feel, with a darksouls combat style, set in a syfi world. Best game I've played in a while.

    Wasnt sure if i liked the combat at first but I'm loving it now. Havent beaten the game just yet. Taking my time trying to do all the side stuff before progressing into each mission. Played about 22 hours and I'm loving it

The Legion mechanic gives it some beautiful difficulty to master, which is a challenge most people will definitely try on. The OST of this game is one of the best that Platinum has made. Even if the story isn't a great as it could'vePlaned on getting this game to wait for Bayonetta 3... And man, i wish this game gets sequels. The combat is pretty methodical and chaotic at the same time. The Legion mechanic gives it some beautiful difficulty to master, which is a challenge most people will definitely try on. The OST of this game is one of the best that Platinum has made.     He de decir que no pensaba que el juego estuviera tan bueno, yo soy de jugar más en portátil y el juego se ve hermoso, gran atención al detalle desde el inicio empieza la acción, es muy gratificante ir acoplando se poco a poco al control del juego y la música es hermosa y hace que tengas una gran inmersión en el juego en definitiva gran trabajo de Platinum Games

    An amazing, rich world. Fun, fast-paced action gameplay mixed in with level exploration and secrets. Fun powers. Funny characters. This game is a MUST-OWN for anyone with a Nintendo Switch.

    Really like the gameplay. Played a few Platinum titles but this is by far the best i have played. If i was not a fan before, i am now. Would have preferred a console release bt thank god i have a Switch as well so i was able to play this great game.

    After I finished 28 hours of this game in digital version, I run as quick as possible to search the Collector's Edition. This game has the best gameplay and amazing soundtracks, this is the rare case of the great gameplay which can support the story to have the better meaning. You're the hero, the savior of human kind, but you're the police also, so you must not be arrogant of civilian life.

    I got Astral Chain after reading and seeing the raving reviews. Great action, great art style, and a great story. I loved playing it! Also for a dad with limited time to play, I found that it also worked well playing it in short bursts. But.... yes there is a but. For all the greatness, for all the over the top action, for all of the videos and screenshots that filled my SD card, I justI got Astral Chain after reading and seeing the raving reviews.     I have made an account just to review this game , it has everything it needs , incredible combat , great story with interesting characters ,an incredible soundtrack and stunningly gorgeous world with tons of details , if you have a switch play this game now no matter what

    In the first session I started playing the game 10 hours went by. The game has a good amount of plot and fighting. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game, in that it is a unique genere. If you are a completionist then there lots of little side missions to do in each case.

    The game was very cool. The combat is hard to learn but rewarding to play. The story was.. there.. it's an anime story so I didn't really except much from it, but the gameplay made up for all for it's shortcomings.

    Lots of collectibles to go back for, music and combat depth really makes the game a great switch title

    First, and i suppose the most obvious part of someone's first impression, are the graphics.     First, and i suppose the most obvious part of someone's first impression, are the graphics. I will say that its graphics are very much its weakest point- HOWEVER, its artstyle is anything but. The game is on the Switch, and as such runs at a lower resolution and probably a lower framerate- that much goes without saying. However, the artstyle is incredible in every way. The character models are extremely well-done and expressive, environments are incredibly well-done for such a relatively underpowered console and it handles the cyberpunk aesthetic extremely well. Lighting and texturework, though obviously not as over-the-top as it may be on other consoles, is still EXCEPTIONAL for this system.

    As for story, i can't really say much- so as to not spoil myself, i never looked too far into it. However, the opening segment left me with a lot of questions and ideas about the characters, the background, and overall it was a gripping start and i really did want to buy it myself as a result. So, at the very least, i can tell you you'll be invested in the story if you like this kind of setting.

    Now, the big thing with this game is the gameplay. The concepts here are INCREDIBLY innovative, though i can imagine it would be a little difficult to get used to. This isn't 'just another action game'. This isn't just the next DMC, or the next Bayonetta and the comparisons people have been making are INCREDIBLY unreasonable.
    I can't say anything for combat later into the game, as it may evolve as you unlock new abilities and stuff (which i would imagine you do as with any game like this). However at least from the first hour or so of the game I've seen, the concepts here may not be for everyone. Perhaps some might not find it to be as engaging, or it might be too difficult to get used to the concepts. I can understand that. To say that Platinum was daring with this title is an understatement. This title was no doubt a huge risk on their part. And i seriously appreciate that. Seeing Platinum go to crazy, ambitious new places is awesome and i can only imagine what they'll do next, and it seriously leaves me wishing that other developers would be this bold. Every new year would be a new window of all sorts of crazy and ambitious ideas coming to life, and it'd be awesome! But, at the least, we have Platinum to make our release windows more interesting.

    As for music, it's a Platinum game. A cyberpunk Platinum game. A cyberpunk anime platinum game. Listen to Savior. That one'll tell you all you need to know.

    So, all in all, i don't think this game is the absolute masterpiece others say it is, thanks to its potential inaccessibility, and its clear graphical downsides due to the choice of platform. However, these limitations and risks just pushed them to be even more inventive and creating with the title. So if you're a fan of niche, inventive titles, i wholeheartedly recommend this. As i like to say... "The enemy of art is the absence of limitations. Creativity is just intelligence having fun. Think. Outside. The bun."    … Expand

    Art style, music and combat are awesome. My only gripe is the graphics and performance due to the hardware limitations on the switch.
    Overall story and gameplay is unique, gripping and entertaining experience.

    Fantastic game but not perfect. Nearly the entire game is fairly exciting and a blast to play. The pacing for the most part is good. However, in the latter part of the game, there seems to be many more side missions than earlier that can start to feel a bit tedious to complete. With that being said, yes they are side missions and are not required to finish the main story, so it only getsFantastic game but not perfect. Generally the story is very entertaining and goes at a decent pace. Again, with the acception of a few moments where too many side missions tend to almost slow things down a bit too much. The game controls great. The combat feels good and fun. The only times I ran into issues with the controls are in platforming situations, where it can feel a tad clunky or unfair. I must also mention how the soundtrack is absolutely stellar. Finally, I understand the frame rate and resolution are not as great as some would hope. But not once during my entire playthrough did the 30fps and lower than usual resolution bother me at all. The art style and how the game looks really does wonders for the lack of actual graphical power.… Expand

    This game is soooooo awesome! Platinum Games made an incredible job with this game, taking the graphics of the Switch at a whole new level.
