    This is one of those Nintendo Switch games that caught my attention since the first trailer dropped. So finally I was able to play it on the release date. I can assure you , you'll love the gameplay mechanics, the graphics and the overall feel of the game. It's an experience you'll remember for the years to come.

    I havent played a game that sucks me in like this one in a long time. The graphics are beautiful, I'm constantly suprised that its even running on a switch. Little details in the art style that ive never even seen in a game before makes me keep playing it. The music could not be better IMO, this game took my expectations and shattered them.     Great game! I like this video game because it is a good video game. This video game has action. The art style is really very good. My ps4 friend says he hates all games that are not on ps4. I tell him this one is pretty good and he should stop being poor and buy it.

    I LOVE this game. In the firts minut I play blow my brain. The music its increíble, I can belive dont need extra download becouse the graphics are amazing. This game for me its the best game nintendo had in switch. Dont think and play now, you dont regret I promesse.

    I'm only about six hours into Astral Chain but even I know that giving it a 0 is stupid. The number of customization options is absurd, the music is catchy an evokes a very Ghost in the Shell-esque vibe. I'm still working on getting the hang of the combat but it's getting more interesting the further I get.

    10 minutes in and you already know that Astral Chain is a game of the year contender. The world building, the soundtrack and even the quirks draw you in instantly which is hard to accomplish at the start of video games.
    The combat is different than the average Plantinum game and its refreshing to see, the choices of Legions offer a range of play styles.

    I own the game and it’s really good. It’s a shame that people are review bombing it. It takes sometime to learn but if you can handle figuring out new mechanics then you can handle this learning curve.

    It is awesome that Nintendo and platinum games are coming out with new ips.

    Another masterpiece by one of the best game developers, PlatinumGames, as usual very fun combat that could be called a best of of all previous of their games, Bayonetta like dodging and even some cutting mechanics of Metal Gear Rising got implemented, but of course it brings in lots of new ideas. But other than their previous games, if we don't count NieR Automata, this one puts more focusAnother masterpiece by one of the best game developers, PlatinumGames, as usual very fun combat that could be called a best of of all previous of their games, Bayonetta like dodging and even some cutting mechanics of Metal Gear Rising got implemented, but of course it brings in lots of new ideas. But other than their previous games, if we don't count NieR Automata, this one puts more focus on story telling and exploring, you can talk to many people like in an RPG, solve side quests and find chests and cats. The game is build to be replayed as you won't be able to find and do everything on the 1st playthrough.
    The graphics are very nice, animations are fluid, female characters are visually appealing, the nice boobs and butts are jiggling. It uses a cell shaded anime graphic style that fits the game very well and runs smooth 99% of the time.
    The game is played in chapters which are basically build in 3 parts, the headquarters where you can talk to your teammates and get your instructions, a part of the ark, mostly a part of a town to explore and interact with the citizen and the Astral Planes, where most of the fighting is puzzling takes place.

    If I had anything negative to say it's that the german translation is not the greatest, I played the game with japanese dub and german text and even though my japanese is limited I was sometimes baffled with the inaccurate translations, like translating a simple "Chotto Matte" into "Ma'am? Eww". I can't say how the english dub and translation are but normally they are decent in PlatinumGames' games. Also the character you play is mute. None of this lowers my love for the game though.

    The game has a decent lenght and a lot of replayability with unlockable difficulty and a Yakuza like Completion List to work through and unlock items, costumes, colors, lenses for your camera and more.

    For Switch owners that like action games, this is a must have.    … Expand

    **** fantastic game. The combat is good at the start but can still be expanded upon once further in. There's non combat parts of the game that offers investigating cases of civilans and puzzles that are almost as good.

    Platinum did it again. Nier:Automata is still better but Nier:Automata is a 11/10 so Astral Chain is only 10/10.
    If you have a Switch, you should treat yourself with this amazing game.

Yes, it’s a Switch exclusive but that has nothing to do with the quality of the game itself. People are being incredibly immature and it needs to stop.     Action packed 3rd person hack n slay as it should be. Fast nd diverse gameplay, super visuals even in handheld mode, runs super consistent with no hick ups at all. And an intriguing storyline.
    Must buy for all switch owners!

    One of the best Switch games period.
    If you like Anime and action games like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry, this is the game for you.
    The story is really varied and the combat has a lot of depth. Easy to play but hard to master.
    Add a lot of replay value and you've got one of those games that you will get back to for a lot of time.

    Game handles and looks fantastic. Controlling the character and the Legion at the same time takes some.practice but feels incredibly rewarding once you get the hang of it.

I would have given the game a 8.5 - 9 normally, but I can not, because of the fake reviews. The game has great action, refreshing new theme, and style.     Really fun, ton of customization and side content, this is a really big step for Platinum Games. Can't wait to see how they build on these systems in future games. And the mascot Lappy is cute.

    This game is a GEM, absolutely worth every penny in my honest opinion, lolll I just can't believe how many ppl in the world have nothing else better to do with their lame ass lives but to review bomb videogames, all in all this is ABSOLUTELY one of the best switch games of all time and a definite recommend!

    Super! Rally rate it! Gameplay, sound and graphics are sublime. The best choice for all Final Fantasy Crisis Core lovers, with a mix of Japanese Cartoons and much more Things. I love it!

    Is a sublime game, whit fantastic graphics, fantastic Soundtrack, and a game modality is a delicious, unique in this indusrty of videogames. Is a totally shame what a few of people for envy rated bad this masterpiece. Totally recomended for everyone, a fine wine of game.

Además de tener una jugabilidad brutal, variada e inovadora (lo cual ya es demasiado tratándose de un género como el hack and slash), todo el tiempo sumerge al jugador en el colorido mundo de la cultura popular japonesa, mostrando entornos urbanos colosales, llenos deASTRAL CHAIN es sin duda el mejor juego de acción no sólo en lo que va del año sino también en mucho mucho tiempo más. Además de tener una jugabilidad brutal, variada e inovadora (lo cual ya es demasiado tratándose de un género como el hack and slash), todo el tiempo sumerge al jugador en el colorido mundo de la cultura popular japonesa, mostrando entornos urbanos colosales, llenos de vida y contrastes entre callejuelas y rascacielos. En lo personal, las referencias a animes y mangas japoneses que en su momento amé demasiado me hicieron al mismo tiempo remontarme a diferentes etapas de mi vida mientras jugaba este título: Ghost in the shell, Evangelion, Gantz y Pokémon, están presentes para darle una profundidad mayor a la atmósfera que desde el inicio quería mostrarnos Platinum Games con esta obra.     Es un juego de 8,5 , pero hay que contrarrestar esta practica de moda que es puntuar bajo a otros juegos de la competencia. Platinum Games saca grandes juegos arriesgando mas que otras compañias, hay que apoyarlos o solo tendremos FIFA´s y COD´s
