    Trolling and whining on the internet used to be an art form. A con game of subtle eloquence that could sway people with false experiences and opinions. No one could tell you didn't even own a Nintendo console, or had never played an exclusive game. Every positive retort could be used to make anyone who liked a Nintendo game seem like an overly-loyal fanboy. That was    Dear Review Bombers,

Every positive retort could be used to make anyone who liked a Nintendo game seem like an overly-loyal fanboy. That was 2008.

    It's now 2019 and you review-bombers have proven this art is now lost. The art of basement-dwelling reduced to mindless, rage induced by shoving a PS4 controller so far up your butt you can now press the buttons with your tongue. (I mean c'mon, with names like "PS3fan" and lines like "sony is best" you're not even trying...)

    Astral Chain is a great game. Running at 30FPS doesn't mean it deserves a zero score. To those who claim it's a button masher. Remember, that's the exact same thing you said when your little sister beat you in Street Fighter (*coughscrubcough*). It's accessible, with the opportunity to be incredibly deep as long as you have a base level or creativity. The story is pretty simple, but the characters are likable (anyone who doesn't like Marie doesn't have a soul). It's a good start to what hopefully spawns future, even better sequels.

    Also, Bayonetta 3 is right around the corner, review bombers so you have an opportunity to step up your game. Maybe you'll be able to do a Shoryuken with your tongue by then to counter the sweet spike kick that will be Bayo 3. Probably not though. cuz you know, you're pathetic and all...    … Expand

    Juegazo de Platinum Games!. Los gráficos y la jugabilidad están increíbles. Divertido y muy muy recomendable, valió la pena la compra.

    Llevo tres días enganchadisimo y con el juego totalmente avanzado, adicción pura. Junto con Bayonetta 2 y Nier Autómata es un top 3 de Platinum Games. La jugabilidad tremenda y trepidante marca de la casa con una variedad de misiones y de tipos de juego que hace de este un título en el que no te limitas tan solo a combatir y realizar combos, es algo más. Los que queremos la acciónLlevo tres días enganchadisimo y con el juego totalmente avanzado, adicción pura. Junto con Bayonetta 2 y Nier Autómata es un top 3 de Platinum Games.     I created an account to try to offset the ridiculous zero scores created by people that can't stand that switch actually has an awesome exclusive. The game is great and unique and if you own a switch you should buy it.

    I've been playing it for a while. It's an amazing game with amazing artstyles, visuals, gameplay and story. Giving it a 10 because of review bombing. This game is much better than a 6.1

    First, yes, i played the game, unlike those idiots giving it a 0 (disgusting other consoles fanboys childishly review bombing) or 10 for no serious reasons.

    Third, the story so far is good (i didn't finish it for now but i'm decently advanced) but i won't talk about it because don't wanna spoil.
    Fourth, NO, the 30 fps framerate doesn't impact the fluidity of the combat.
    Fifth, the combat itself is as good as you would except from a Platinum Games product : intense, with a deep complexity, the possibility of doing stylish combos as always. My only complain about this point is the foe locking that i don't know how to use without making the camera go crazy in a fight against multiple ennemis, especially flying ones. But maybe that's just because i'm really bad xD.
    Sixth, the gameplay diversity is dope, with the police cases that make you explore the various half-open places present in the game.

    In conclusion, a great (but not perfect, of course) action game, and a good addition to the now long list of Switch's classics.

    Sadly much members of the site that played Astral Chain give a ridiculous review for game. No game desierves one zero. But sadly there are haters and the fact that a game does not have a version for your console its enough for a bad review.

    What a fantastic game! Extremely stylish with varied, slick gameplay and awesome customization options. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from people who are mad it isn’t available on their platform- another testament to the quality of this game. Great work Platinum! And thank you Nintendo for supporting new IP.

    Bayonetta 2 was nominated for GotY, showered with 10/10, and this game is even better. It has the amazing combat as expected, but a better story and more things to do than just fight. Haven’t come close to beating it but, my opinion isn’t going to change. The game is incredible. Another masterpiece from Platinum.     Astral Chain is such an amazing game because of how many risks it takes and how original it feels compared to other action games. The combat system is very unique since you can control two characters at once and rather than being combo heavy it is focused primarily on strategy and calculated movement of your legion. The game took the risk of not being 60 fps so it could have the graphics it's type of art style needs (also it's running on the switch so reaching 60 fps for this type of game is very difficult) Overall it's a very good game and I'm proud Nintendo and Platinum are making new IPs with so much personality and innovation and I hope this series is supported for a long time.… Expand

    Estoy realmente indignado por el como tuvieron que venir fanboys para bajarle la nota poniendole cero recalcando los 30fps y no haciendo una review sobre todos los puntos del juego (además se nota a kilometros que no han tocado el juego ni con un palo ), cuando es un juego que se merece muchisimo más .     Ahora , en cuanto a los pros y contras del juego :
    Pros :
    -Gráficamente destaca en iluminación y espectacularidad de las escenas combate
    - Una historia buena tirando a normalita
    -Un framerate muy estable
    - Los combates son espectaculares
    - Escenarios muy logrados
    - Las batallas con los jefes son realmente buenas , ya ni hablar subiendole la didicultad , es espectacular
    - Una banda sonora realmente a la altura , muy disfrutable y que mantiene en tensión
    Cons :
    - A ALGUNAS misiones secundarias les ha faltado mas trabajo , algunas son muy buenas pero otras ni dan ganas de completarlas

    Y eso son los puntos que pude sacar jugando ya más de 10 hrs , es un juego realmente bueno , pero que se ve obstruido por ser de nintendo y digo eso porque los que vinieron a criticarlo usan como excusa lo de los 30 fps , si ven las reviews veran que como minimo mencionaran a nintendo y notaras como de alguna manera este juego ha sido afectado por estar relacionado a la compañía y por sus haters.    … Expand

    This game is sick AF. The never before seen combat style and animation, the awesome story and side quest, as well as the Legions are amazing! Definitely my GOTY contender along with Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Nintendo is GETTING it this year! Imaging not owning a switch in 2019 lol.

    Amazing game! Some of the most fun I've had in a platinum game period. The soundtrack is completely astounding, the variety in gameplay keeps every encounter interesting, and I'm at least invested enough in the plot to follow cutscenes and feel what the characters feel in game. Solid recommendation

    This game is amazing. A lot of d-bags giving it zero's because it's on Nintendo only or because it's about police even though they're dimension police... Looks great. Sounds great. Tight battle system that's really fun to use. All around great and unique story. What's not to love? Keep your **** politics away from great games.

    + The game has a great sound track.
    + Graphics are very good, for the Switch. + The game play has variety to it. +- The story is alright, it's a great idea but they didn't do much with it. +- Investigations are a good idea but they're too basic. - Controls are a bit clunky and take some getting used to. - Large amounts of    + Legions make the game combat and exploration very unique.

Es un juegazo que mezcla una historia anime con toques de los mejores como Evangelion con unas batallas marca de la casa Platinum muy frenéticas y con unas mecánicas muy profundas que convierten cada batalla en una experiencia increíble. Aunque sus fases de investigación y secundarias son algo másCreo que merece un 9, pero le doy un 10 debido a la cantidad de ceros sinsentido que tiene.     El juego tiene todo para entretener, el sistema de combate es muy bueno y todo lo relacionado con la candena da un toque de aire fresco a un hack slash mas tranquilo a lo que estamos acostumbrados

    If you're looking for an action game that goes beyond action, had a solid story, good graphics, and combat that's easy to learn but hard/fun to fully master, this is the game for you.
    Aside from a few instances where lip synching doesn't quite match the English voices, the game has no major flaws, other than some missions stretching out without combat for too long on occasion.

    The controls are a little clunky when you first start using your legion... it takes some time to get used to.     I would have given it a 8 but seeing all the review about it being exclusive to the switch i want to up the rating.
    It is a great game with good graphics and fluid gameplay.
    Filled with action and great side missions that trigger the completionist in me. Gracias al descubrimiento de ese poder, la humanidad alcanzó la cima de la civilización y el conocimiento. Pero a la vez que el conocimiento y la sabiduría crecían, también lo hacían los sueños y ambiciones. Sueños de conquista, de guerra, de poder ilimitado y de vida eterna. En consecuencia, se empezó a abusar de la Alquimia. Todas estas aspiraciones habrían arrasado Weyard de no ser por unos sabios expertos que sellaron este poder en lo más profundo de las entrañas del Templo Sonne, dentro del Monte Aleph. La consecuencia de esto fue que las luces de los Faros Elementales se extinguieron. Tras esto, Weyard se vio privado de su energía elemental y se empezó a destruir a sí mismo poco a poco, empezando por el norte. Esto provocó el caos en la aldea más boreal de Weyard, Prox, gobernada por el Clan Marte del Norte. Un grupo de emisarios guerreros del Clan Marte del Norte, son enviados por Puel (alcalde de Prox) y el anciano sabio de la aldea, con la misión de informar a los habitantes de Weyard (empezando por los taleanos) sobre el peligro que se cierne sobre el mundo si la luz de los cuatro faros elementales (Mercurio, Venus, Júpiter y Marte) no vuelve a concentrarse en el monte Aleph, ya que mucho tiempo atrás, sus luces fueron selladas para evitar que el ser humano destruyese Weyard, al acumular todo el poder que la Alquimia guarda tras de sí.     Don’t listen to the haters this is one of the most amazing action games to come around in a long while. If you like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry Astral Chain is even better with a blistering graphic style and combat system. Platinum games gets better and better at their craft and this is one Switch exclusive every gamer should have in their collection.

By far the worst part of the game. It felt as though someone wanted to make a crappy, sub-par shonen anime, but decided it would bes best as a game.     Looks polished, and smooth even running only at 30 fps. Been Excellent so far in docked (still need to try it in portable mode tho). Definetly amust buy for switch owner and action lovers

    This game really surprised me with the depth of the various systems. For better or worse, it pulls from the best of platinum's library to make an rpg like beat em up that is a ton of fun.

    The game might not be the best platinum game for everyone, but I've absolutely adored it!

    De los mejores juegoes del catálogo de switch. Es excelente y arriesgado en los aspectos que realmente importan en los videojuegos de acción. Platinum games se luce nuevamente con un jugabilidad que da un paso gigante hacia adelante, mientras que a la vez, te transporta a la mejor época de las maqiinas arcade.

    Recomiendo probarlo. Lo hace muy bien bien en todos sus apartados, como hack And slash no es tradicionalista, pero sus nuevas adiciones le vienen muy bien y resulta innovador en este género.

    Just a Counter Balance for the **** negativ reviews from People who dont own the Game. This Game is really good. Its like most of Plartinum games games but with the addition of the Legions the Combat feels fresh and familiar at the same time.

    Awesome gameplay once you get your head around controlling the legion. Love the art style and music. Solid story. Seems like people are still upset this is a switch exclusive with the review bombing.
