Submerged: Hidden Depths is a shallow and tedious exploration game focused on exploring the ruined and flooded remains of a lost world. During your journey, you'll find peace and serenity, but little in the way of engaging gameplay. It's got some charm hidden beneath the surface, but not enough to hold your interest.

The world was really beautiful to explore and it had great music to accompany you along the way. The boat was fun to drive around on, with the player being able to find upgrades to make it even better. Climbing around all these old structures was really cool, exploring a world that has been submerged. You really get a sense of what was lost, and get to see the emotions of people that had once lived in these cities.

The story was really interesting but I would keep getting lost in what it was about. I got the general idea of it, but I feel the main details could have been explained a bit better. With this being an exploration game you can expect to find collectibles, and this game sure does have a lot of them. However, the game offers a really fun experience to travel around so it probably wouldn't take long to find them all.

A beautiful and relaxing narrative-driven game, more about the experience of story and exploration than being a challenge to the player. Akin to experiences like Journey. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Full Review »
