The game is extremely addictive but once you complete everything you get really bored really fast. The multiplayer is lacking. Only way to enjoy the multiplayer is a LAN server or over Skype or Team Speak.

Although an amazing fit for PC, that's not the case for the PS Vita. Lets get down to what I personally see as flaws, which has to do mainly with how responsive it is and how it feels on the actual console. The game is quite responsive, too responsive even. This game, on the Vita, I feel is way too finicky on the small analog sticks that the Vita uses. This increased my own amount of gaming stress. The game itself is awesome, but not on the Vita. On the Vita, it looks great but just having it on a console that can be easily dropped (albeit with clumsy hands) just makes it seem awkward. However, this is not the games fault. I like the game as it is adventurous and highly explorable but that feeling fades after having to do nothing but hammer on, literally, for days to obtain enough 'tools' to create something that will have a limited durability. It's fun, but for how long? Expand

Terraria is an amazing game. I've poured nearly 2,000 hours into this game, across the Vita, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. This game will give you something to do at nearly every moment you play. You're constantly doing something, whether it's preparing for your next boss fight, building an amazing structure, or just exploring the world. But my god this game sucks on the Vita. You're constantly doing something, whether it's preparing for your next boss fight, building an amazing structure, or just exploring the world. But my god this game sucks on the Vita. I've died so many times in the Vita version compared to the PC version. The fluidity and controls feel so bad on the Vita port of this game. Frames drop if you have just a little bit too much going on. I wanted to fight all the mechanical bosses at the same time but I couldn't, because the Vita literally couldn't handle it. If you absolutely have nothing to play this game on besides the Vita, just skip out on it. Play the game on PC. Trust me, your impressions of this game will be very diminished on the Vita, or even the PS3/PS4 and 360/One. This game is pretty bad on consoles but on PC this game is so addicting. Score would be a 10 if this was the PC version. Expand

Terraria works even better on PsVita, thanks to an excellent control scheme and the usual catchy gameplay.
