its a port from the big consoles to the smallest console: the PS Vita however the Graphics are the same just the effects are removed like shadows Textures, Shaders etc. and you can believe that its hard for the Vita Hardware to Process the Game well (even the Ps3 have Trouble) so i guess the Game Textures on the Levels look not good (downgraded) but the game Models of Clair etc look goodits a port from the big consoles to the smallest console: the PS Vita however the Graphics are the same just the effects are removed like shadows Textures, Shaders etc. and you can believe that its hard for the Vita Hardware to Process the Game well (even the Ps3 have Trouble) so i guess the Game Textures on the Levels look not good (downgraded) but the game Models of Clair etc look good and the Mechanics are OK the Update 1.01 for the Game improves the FPS and adds new content ;> on the Vita. Remember this Game was Programmed first for the Big Powerful Consoles and the Pc version require a lot of Minimum Hardware i believe its the Engine and Mass of the Polygone amount at the Same time witch are not Originally optimized and developed on the Vita we can be Happy that we r getting a Portable version :). . The only thing that I did not liked was the loading time, first time I pressed start, I thought it was frozen, at least there is not a lot of loading in game.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is amazing on Ps Vita.
The game DOES NOT have any frame rate problem and the graphics are awesome.
It is important that you adjust the brightness of the game to its minimum and that you change the parameters of the sensibility of the camera. The defaults values are not correct, and If you change these settings, the game is amazing.

I was never expecting this game to measure up to the PS4 version as that would be unfair considering the difference in power between the consoles, although what we do have here is a genuine fully fledged Resident Evil game on a fantastic handheld. Capcom deserve credit for making the effort to port this to the Vita knowing that most Vita players (especially in the West) want AAA releases like this more than anything else. I was disappointed when they decided to release it 'digital only' in the west but that feeling quickly subsided when I realised I could get a physical copy from Play Asia which I could play in full english. It now sits happily in my physical collection of vita games while also not taking up space on my memory card.

The game itself is great, it plays really well and I'm really loving being able to play a proper Resident Evil game during my lunch breaks at work and on the train. The raid mode is surprisingly fun and addictive and it's worth mentioning a patch was also released recently which fixed a few things and made a few improvements.

If you're a Resi or Vita fan or both, this needs to be in your collection. It's also great value content wise for the price

Awesome game! Great gameplay and story. Cross buy with ps3 and a lot of replay value. Survivor difficulty is hard enough. We want more ports of big productions! Indies are great but Resident evil is better. Now psvita needs RE4

As a first time R.E player i was please as the game simply is cool. Although their is graphics downgrade and frame drops for me it happen 3 times during the main campaign lasted only 3-5 seconds, plus the load times are long. However, take all that aside the game is simply fun, the story is good, the characters are great(Favorite Barry), plus the awesome addicting raid mode. Sadly, Revelations 2 on the PS Vita isn't the step in the right direction that the PlayStation 4 version was. Clumsy controls, a lousy framerate and - to put it bluntly - ugly graphics make this yet another forgettable Vita effort.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on PS Vita is a flawed port that only comes recommended if it’s your sole option of playing the game.

It won't wow you, and it won't disappoint you: it'll basically just kind of be there.
