Timothy is an oddball gangster, whose day-to-day life is interrupted by a full-color alien invasion. They’re here and nothing will be the same again. We’ve returned to Little Fish City, YOUR CITY, for Timothy’s Night: an open world videogame full of action and adventure.

Timothy had a pretty normal childhood for a gangster, except for the part where he was abducted. When he was just a kid, he was taken by these weird-looking beings who gave him superpowers. Since then, Timothy’s done nothing except use those powers for his own benefit and now he controls the whole city. What Timothy neglected to remember was the part where aliens would come to conquer Earth... and now he’s the scoundrel who has to save us all.

When stellar DualSense implementation really is the only highlight, however, it’s hard to fully recommend Timothy’s Night. Its visual style is commendable, and this is not a bad game by any means. But its gameplay – complete with sluggish movement, ho-hum gunplay and enemies that frequently spawn behind you – is just never particularly enjoyable. If you really dig the noir aesthetic you might get a kick out of it, but there are certainly better ways to spend your time.

People usually complain a lot about enemies respawning, but I understand that's part of the difficulty. I loved the music so much but what I like the most is the dualshock 5 integration which is one of the best I've tried on PS5. It's hard to believe that a small studio is able to do this while most AAA's are not. Expand

Constantly spawns enemies behind me that i can't see that get cheap hits. Next time try at least a little QA, this is terrible.
