    Totally butchered the game by not having a simple arcade mode. Micro transactions demonstrates the greed of Capcon. Prefer Street Fighter 2 by a country mile.

    This game is a pile of garbage. The graphics are awful. The greedy developers are charging $60 for an indie quality game. When I pay $60, I expect top-notch AAA quality. This whole art style stuff is just an excuse for developers to be cheap and lazy. The animations are beyond horrible. The physics are a joke. The lighting effects are horrendous. When I pay $60, I expect top-notch AAA quality. This whole art style stuff is just an excuse for developers to be cheap and lazy. The animations are beyond horrible. The physics are a joke. The lighting effects are horrendous. The story is poorly written. The textures in the plants makes me want to puke. Those plant textures literally look PS2 quality. Right when I finish a fight in the city, there are props that magically reappear. Keep in mind it was in a singleplayer only mode, not even an online mode. That's embarrassing. Just like the cheapskates at Nintendo, the voice acting is very limited. The developers were too cheap to have all lines voice acted. Only like the first 3 words are voice acted during in-game dialogue, it's pathetic.

    The open world in the story mode feels pointless. There doesn't appear to be any added gameplay mechanics in the city. All those cars in the street, and I can't drive any of them. NBA 2K "city" has skateboards and bicycles, none of that in this city. There is nothing to do in the open world. The combat is boring and repetitive. When I pay $60, I expect a combat system with depth and detail. All the developers did is put pretty lights during every move, to give players the illusion that the game is fun. None of that is fun for me. How do I turn off the stupid brush stroke effects? I checked everywhere in the settings and can't find it. First NFS Unbound, and now this? I don't understand why these developers can't make these things optional. These paint splash effects are annoying, I can't have any fun with that. Too many clipping issues in the battle hub. As always, Capcom fails to add the attention to detail you would expect in a $60 AAA game. The NPC's in the background have like a 5 second animation loop. There is a section where a lion walks back and forth like a moron every 5 seconds. NBA 2K23 has better crowds for goodness sake, not to mention that 2K had a much larger crowd to worry about.

    The multiplayer is trash. When I suplexed a player, it magically stopped midway. Online appears to be laggy. Blanka's stupid rolling move infuriates me. The character creator is very in-depth and I appreciate that. Although I will not consider that a positive, because the developers were too lazy to add proper limitations to the creator. The problem with lack of proper limitations with the sliders is it will encourage players to make the most deformed looking characters possible. Lo and behold, that is exactly what happened when I entered the battle hub. On top of that, I didn't see any community creations I can browse through. I don't want to look up recipes on the internet, I should be able to browse in-game. That's how you know you're greedy, when you're lazier and a bigger cheapskate than 2K. Maybe if there was a creation community in-game, it would help lessen the awful characters in the hub. I can't enjoy the battle hub with these cringeworthy creations. Speaking of which, Luke has a cringeworthy face on the cover of this game. This made me remove the cover paper off the game case and rip it into pieces. I only recommend at $10 or wait for it to be free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    Je n'ai jamais vu un jeu de baston aussi déséquilibré, des animations de super qui se déclenchent mais qui ne font pas les dégâts. Et en parlant de l'hypocrisie régnant autour du mode moderne, c'est un mode cheat mais personne ne dira que ça l'est il faut vendre le jeu, mais quand un joueur classique mets 11ms en moyen poir sortir un super et un joueur moderne quasi instantanément on vaJe n'ai jamais vu un jeu de baston aussi déséquilibré, des animations de super qui se déclenchent mais qui ne font pas les dégâts.     Too few characters and too much character design.
    World Tour mode is a pain to move around and the enemies are too hard.
    DLC characters are too expensive. And many of them are characters that were in the previous games.

    No effort put into the series S. Bigger and better looking games somehow work but this game is massively downgraded when it doesn't even look good to began with.

    Everyone default costume looks like GARBAGE

    Not grinding the uninteresting story mode for 10 hrs + just to unlock one costume lol

    The problem is the goofy characters in the game that you can't take seriously, it has gotten even worse in this entry sadly - so ridiculous looking....... We need a SF2 reboot bring back the serious looking fighters Cap!

    This version of Street Fighter heavily punish players who play defensively and only encourage playing offensively, the easy/modern control makes the game even more bland and shallow, so disappointing.........even SFV was better than this........

    Got this game with a buddy and was so excited, but played this for a few hours and realized that this is only Street Fighter in name. Game doesn't feel like Street Fighter at all. From the music to character's designs to themes. Even dumb down controls which is insulting to everyone. Boring and total letdown.

    I'm a casual fighting game player so I was told this game has "modern control" which should have been great to someone like me........but it is actually awful! The modern control limited my moveset and I deal way less damage! Modern control is not fun at all! Feel scammed and cheated in buying this game that's not friendly to newbie at all.............

    The online game mode has been ruined by the modern control scheme players. They are just spamming special attack by pressing one button over and over again. Not fun at all and punishing the skilled player is a mistake! No reason to play SF6 anymore.

    Very poor graphics and animation. Awfully small roster in a 2D fighting game by today standards. Just one alternate costume that you have to grind for in the poorly made single player story mode. What a complete letdown!

    Capcom has become greedy with this game just like in thw SF5 release. This game also feels unpolished, but not as bad as SF5 during its release, and it lacks the charisma that SF2 and SF4 had. The new characters and story lines are cheesy and you have to buy DLCs to play the good and popular characters. Just plain greedy.     The reason the graphics and animations are so poor is because of the outdated RE engine, hopefully Super Street Fighter 6 coming next year will have a new engine.

    If this is "the future of fighting games", fighting games are headed in a bad direction. Further proof that indie titles will always have more heart and soul than AAA big budget releases, yet still get swept under the rug by the casual audience. This is quite literally the most overrated fighting game of all time.

    Street Fighter 6 honestly feels like the best game of the series in every facet possible. The long term will prove or disprove this though as these games tend to morph and change over their lifetime. But for this game to take that title, it’s done everything right from the outset to cement its legacy as the best of the best. This game is a recommendation for people interested in fighting games at any level, go check it out now.
