    Save Deleting bug! Careful before buying the game! You may get a "Save Data Damaged" error and lose hours and hours of peogress! These ....rds at Capcom either are not aware, or dont care, or cant fix it.

    Bought it for Cammy. Chun Li not bad too. The rest is trash.

    It gets a 5 because this game has the worst single player campaign I have ever played by a major developer like Capcom. If I was to rate this game based on the campaign alone, it would get a 0 straight up. It's boring, the AI is awful, just a long grind. Reviewers like IGN giving this game such high scores is insane. I enjoy pvp and the fighting in this game for multiplayer is decent, soIt gets a 5 because this game has the worst single player campaign I have ever played by a major developer like Capcom. Oh and the "Modern" controls make the game easier than SmashBros controlls, Modern provides autocombos, where as smashbros has no autocombos. You can use the classic controls though.

    I just want to repeat that the high scores from places like IGN are absolutely not correct. It's like review sites just copy and pasted each other, afraid of sticking out and just giving an honest critical review. There is no way any person who has played other single player games thinks that world tour campaign deserves a high score, no way. I'm telling you it's garbage compared to literally any other major dev single player campaign.    … Expand

    Let's get this out of the way, SF 6 is a return to form to the franchise after the debacle that was SF V (which took 4 years or so to become a full fledged game). SF 6 is released finished, with returning characters and some pretty awesome new ones. Why an 8? Well, after going all out on the so calle E Sports area, Capcom went all out on getting the so called casuals into the game. TheLet's get this out of the way, SF 6 is a return to form to the franchise after the debacle that was SF V (which took 4 years or so to become a full fledged game). SF 6 is released finished, with returning characters and some pretty awesome new ones. Why an 8? Well, after going all out on the so calle E Sports area, Capcom went all out on getting the so called casuals into the game. The result is a frustrating experience for veterans like me. I don't want to go through menus to get the classic controls, when the default is the 'modern' (i.e. casual mode). I actually got beaten several times during online matches as lo and behold, the modern controls are the default. Other than this minor irk, the new characters are great and well thought. Worth a play but not a breakthrough change that SF 2 and SF 4 were back in the day.… Expand

    Capcom just nailed it with Street Fighter 6 and in my opinion, this might be the best fighting game I ever played. They upgraded the graphic, the character model are greatly improved and I enjoyed the new cast of characters that are in Street Fighter 6 as well.

    First of all, I would like to mention how easily accessible for people who are new to fighting game with the introduction of    Capcom just nailed it with Street Fighter 6 and in my opinion, this might be the best fighting game I ever played. They upgraded the graphic, the character model are greatly improved and I enjoyed the new cast of characters that are in Street Fighter 6 as well.

    First of all, I would like to mention how easily accessible for people who are new to fighting game with the introduction of Modern and Dynamic controls. The game also have a good netcode, my exprience with online play so far have been great thanks to it. A much improved practice mode and new combo trial mode that were introduce really help new or returning street fighter players get to know the fundemental of each characters they are playing.

    I'm also really impress that Capcom decided to add in World Tour mode into Street Fighter, which is basically an open world story mode where you start of with an avatar of your creation. Althought World Tour mode could be repetitive at times and a generic story, but I like that Capcom are trying to do something different, and I always welcome innovation when it comes to involving a game. They also added a battle hub mode where players can meet and interract with each other.

    The game really is a step up from SFV, with a very solid cast of 18 characters, with someone for just about any archetype or playstyle you can think of. A new single player story content, amazing soundtrack, new commentary feature that can be toggle off and on, good netcode, so on and so forth. Capcom really set the bar of what a fighting game should be on release.    … Expand

    I'm a newbie to fighting games but I really like this one-- it seems newbie-friendly and I've had a ton of fun both online and offline. I'll say the World Tour mode is a little lackluster, but otherwise I think this game is amazing if you want to get into fighting games.

    I see a lot of review bombing because of world tour mode and arcade mode. This game has some of the best netcode you will ever play. Other complaints I see are people complaining they can't turtle all day. This is good. No one wanted another SFV. Last complaint I see is that it's woke.     The game is well packaged with a lot of different sections, the only problem is they aren't good enough.
    The graphics look good but some character designs are not well inspired.
    There are a lot of microtransactions just to receive an alternate costume and or a different color or just farm dozens of hours in the boring World Tour.     The fighting mechanics are pretty naive, the drive impact has not sense at all because smart player will just use super fast combos confirming an anti drive impact.
    Some characters have stupid unseeable fast drive cancels and or strong 50/50 mixups.
    Throws in this game are too strong, some characters deal insane amount of damage easily and
    other characters like Honda can just spam anti air covering the whole screen with + on block and safe head butts working even like anti air...
    Watch the main tournaments online and guess which characters are most used?
    Honda, DJ, Zangiev in order : spam specials . insane damage and stupid fast drive cancels and throws.
    I don't even understand the new modern system, sincerely I have't tried it a lot, but on the paper some characters are too strong with it, overall defensive zone characters like luke or guile. Probably we will see dozens of balancing patches in the next years.
    And now the the ranked online :
    Currently i find a 3-4 bars opponent every 10 or 20 minutes on average and repeating communication error messages .
    3 betas just to release this unbalanced mess.

    I gave 6 just because i like the various coinops in th Hub but I don't know how reviewers gave this game 9.5, probably they were drunk or the got paid or probably both.    … Expand

    The reason the graphics and animations are so poor is because of the outdated RE engine, hopefully Super Street Fighter 6 coming next year will have a new engine.

    This game offers everything a fighting game fan needs. The netcode is awesome, the input delay is the best it has ever been (not matter the platform) and the 18 different characters offer a huge variety of playstyles.

    Got this game with a buddy and was so excited, but played this for a few hours and realized that this is only Street Fighter in name. Game doesn't feel like Street Fighter at all. From the music to character's designs to themes. Even dumb down controls which is insulting to everyone. Boring and total letdown.

    Totally butchered the game by not having a simple arcade mode. Micro transactions demonstrates the greed of Capcon. Prefer Street Fighter 2 by a country mile.

    Gameplay is perfection, new characters are great, netcode never fails and last but not least : GAME IS FUN, like really fun.
    If you want a 2D fighter and arent disgusted by art style, just go for it blindly.

    Capcom learned from SF5 and majorly course corrected. A stellar launch. Solid single player offerings with a robust online option. My only complaint was I wish the starting roster had a few more characters but I’m sure they will add 4-5 a year.

    one thing that I absolute hate about this game is trading hits. my buddy and i played for an half and hour and it was not fun. yes it looks pretty. but laying down that amount of cash for a game is feels unfinished and full of bugs.trading punch and kicks and Arial combat gives it a float feel. like when Sf Alpha 1 came out and than they fixed the hit boxes and trading in alpha 2/ crouchone thing that I absolute hate about this game is trading hits. my buddy and i played for an half and hour and it was not fun. yes it looks pretty. but laying down that amount of cash for a game is feels unfinished and full of bugs.trading punch and kicks and Arial combat gives it a float feel. like when Sf Alpha 1 came out and than they fixed the hit boxes and trading in alpha 2/ crouch and fierce and i can knock Honda's sumo splash out. drive rush looks spammy. not feeling this game at all.
    the colors and extra costumes is the worst grind, as i sad by laying this much money on game it should come out with more extras.i will set back and wait until things get fixed.this is going like sfv direction.i think this should be addressed.

    Really solid so far. I'm glad they left in the classic control style, since I've been using it since SF1. Also it looks fantastic using the RE Engine. I always wondered how it would be. They need to bring back Rival Schools and use the same engine.

From focus attacks to parries to drive rushes to multiple super arts. Fighting game fanatics eat your heart out. The pinnacle of fighting games is upon us.

    I bought the game and I picked Cammy because she was the only character that didn't look like a reject. The single player mode feels like doing chores and not fun at all. I spent most of my time in this game playing the special game mode with tires and bulls running around, but that got repetitive after 30 minutes.     This is the best fighter game in maybe a decade! It has content, beginner friendly, expert deep, great online.
    World Tour is silly to the point it becomes fun and I love it!
    Hopefully all other fighter games take notice.

    That the game has coins to unlock the outfits seems bad to me, although you can get them for free, it's with many hours of play. The Arcade mode is poor,    After playing it, it is definitely much better than the previous one BUT this game is definitely not to be played solo mode, the world tour mode is an excellent idea but it is not well finished, very boring, lacks a lot of detail.

    That the game has coins to unlock the outfits seems bad to me, although you can get them for free, it's with many hours of play. The Arcade mode is poor, there are only 4 illustrations per person and static texts.

The new characters and story lines are cheesy and you have to buy DLCs to play the good and popular characters. Just plain greedy.     This is my first fighting game ever and I can't stop playing it. I love the characters, the music, the combos, the extra modes and just the vibes this game gives off. The single player mode is such a treat and really adds a nice shift from online matches. It's also really satisfying to progress through and fun to just hang around in due to its lovely open world design.     This version of Street Fighter heavily punish players who play defensively and only encourage playing offensively, the easy/modern control makes the game even more bland and shallow, so disappointing.........even SFV was better than this........

    I've always been a fan of the Street Fighter franchise, even though V didn't please me so much this new title surprised me in an extremely positive way, I have nothing to complain about, it's fun, it has good mechanics and fantastic character design, a hit from Capcom for new and longtime fans.

    Jogo muito americanizado, nem parece feito pela Capcom jp. Enfim, mudanças são bem-vindas, mas descaracterizar o jogo pensando mais numa nova geração de jogadores e esquecendo quem tornou SF o jogo que é hoje é um erro.

    Street Fighter 6 is an awesome game with amazing graphics and incredible gameplay. The character design of the characters are great but flaw about the game is the story mode while it is nice to have a open world it does get boring at times but overall this game is great might be the best one.

    Street Fighter 6 is easily one of the best fighting games out there that is a game I think anyone will be able to pick up and enjoy. The combat is probably the most accessible Street Fighter has ever been, but still has so much depth and tech to uncover that I've barely scratched the surface of what some characters can do. Of course, classic is just as SF has always been, but the new modern mode is a great inclusion, as it allows so many new people who are unfamiliar with fighters and aren't in the know of the intricacies of fighters can easily hop in, learn a character and have some fun. This also includes the wealth of modes and single player content that the game offers. World Tour so far is a great teaching tool for newcomers to the series and is just a fun and wacky single player mode where you build your own character (or pet freak) and have them power up, learn moves, and traverse a huge open world. It's quite the amazing single player mode that is a huge awesome breath of fresh air that isn't just the usual MK cinematic single player mode. The modes on offer as well are great as well, as while the typical combat is amazing, having tons of modifiers that you can play around with is great to have as it allows people to simply mess around and have a good time with wacky modes. The online is easily one of the best that can be had with any competitive game out there. The rollback netcode is silky smooth and is hard to find many bad matches, even if connection is low. The battle hub is such a fantastic inclusion as it allows you to simply hang out with friends and meet new people which is such a cool inclusion. The game looks fantastic as well, and runs buttery smooth like you would expect it, even on PS4. The game is simply one of the best games you can spend your money on, as its very approachable for new players, has a wealth of content, and is top quality in mechanics. I can't wait for the future of the game and to see what the upcoming dlc characters have in store!

    Also I normally don't mention stuff like this on a review site, but for normal people, please ignore the constant zeros. They're simply people who are trying to review bomb the game because they don't want new people to enjoy the game, are not knowledgeable in what they are talking about, or are complaining about Cammy not having her classic costume because they're horny. Mainly focus on reviews that try and form a solid foundation for an opinion. That way you can get a better insight into what the game is really about and its qualities.    … Expand

    Finally the crap of SFV comes to an end. I’ve been playing SF since the very first one with the big buttons in the arcade. Ryu really inspired me as a kid so I picked up Karate both Kyokushin & Shotokan & the rest is history. SF6 is really good presentation wise, to me it’s an important thing. Street Fighter 3 3rd strike & Tekken 3 had such a cool attitude you wanted to come back justFinally the crap of SFV comes to an end.     Ryu is finally playable & Ken is cool again. This game is playable from the get go, not like SFV that had the most miserable launch in fighting game history. Good job Capcom.

    One thing I don’t like but I guess if we want Capcom to keep making SF games with these budgets it’s a no brainer, but! Modern controls… You know when you play Tekken & someone that never played the game can with a bit of luck win matches but just mashing al the buttons? Well that’s modern controls for you. This was pre set. I went online & was wondering what the hell was going on. Had my ol Panthara SFV arcade stick & Ryu moved like **** It took some time to find how to change to classic as well. I didn’t work to change it in the main menu, I had to find a sub menu online to change it. That made me loose my first fight online & that kind of made me mad. To sell more copies & make it more mainstream I guess modern controls is a must. Do I think this will beat the best game in the series 3rd strike? No, not at the moment, 3rd strike is to me the pinnacle of Street Fighter that you need real skill to be good at. But this could be a close 2nd, I wish though Capcom could make SF3 Unso, Cloud Hands (they who know knows) Pick up SF6 it’s the most SF fun in years, glad to say the old official PS arcade sticks works with just plug n play. As for combos etc, we all know a fighting game evolves the more you play it, again the 3rd junkies find new stuff even today.

    To Capcom, please make Blanka as badass as he is in SF the animated movie. Make him a beast, not that green high pitched comic relief monkey he Is now.    … Expand

    I haven't played the world tour mod but the multiplayer and the core gameplay are amazing. Each character is incredibly well thought out and takes a long time to master, yet you can have a lot of fun immediately with them. The loading times are really fast, games pile up and you just continue playing.     Excellent graphics and game-play. Love the new drive gauge, drive parry and super arts mechanics. The role playing single player campaign is also neat, where you can customize your own character. Music is a refreshing and hip update., and I actually enjoy the optional battle commentary during matches. Online feature works seamlessly and already fought some great ranked matches. And I'm glad they'll continue to create new characters/stage and not choose a "no DLC" policy and do nothing in the future for the game, as some seem to wish!     Plus it's packed with content, both single player and competitive! The World Tour mode (single player) is a real revolution in the genre.

    I can't find a REAL flaw or content they could have added.
    I advise anyone, passionate about fighting games or not, to give it a chance, the developers have done everything to make it accessible and fun for any level, from professional to novice.

    As a looong time fan, SF6 is the best entry to a new numbered series, ever. Not sure why the user score is low here. Gameplay is best it’s ever been, single player content is richest it’s ever been, excellent tutorials and a great all-round group of fighters. Best SF ever

    Even with a not-great-but-overall-okay World Tour mode, Street Fighter 6 is a worthwhile investment for fans. It’s everything that its predecessor should have been at launch and more, from its deep roster and excellent fighting system to the incredible presentation and features available.     What’s missing that id like to see in upcoming updates that’s in SF5 and not in 6:
    - ability to change individual character language
    - change base outfit at character select permanently - set some characters as Moderate or Classic permanently - have stages cycle randomly on versus mode

The lighting effects are horrendous. The story is poorly written. The textures in the plants makes me want to puke. Those plant textures literally look PS2 quality. Right when I finish a fight in the city, there are props that magically reappear. Keep in mind it was in a singleplayer only mode, not even an online mode. That's embarrassing. Just like the cheapskates at Nintendo, the voice acting is very limited. The developers were too cheap to have all lines voice acted. Only like the first 3 words are voice acted during in-game dialogue, it's pathetic.

    The open world in the story mode feels pointless. There doesn't appear to be any added gameplay mechanics in the city. All those cars in the street, and I can't drive any of them. NBA 2K "city" has skateboards and bicycles, none of that in this city. There is nothing to do in the open world. The combat is boring and repetitive. When I pay $60, I expect a combat system with depth and detail. All the developers did is put pretty lights during every move, to give players the illusion that the game is fun. None of that is fun for me. How do I turn off the stupid brush stroke effects? I checked everywhere in the settings and can't find it. First NFS Unbound, and now this? I don't understand why these developers can't make these things optional. These paint splash effects are annoying, I can't have any fun with that. Too many clipping issues in the battle hub. As always, Capcom fails to add the attention to detail you would expect in a $60 AAA game. The NPC's in the background have like a 5 second animation loop. There is a section where a lion walks back and forth like a moron every 5 seconds. NBA 2K23 has better crowds for goodness sake, not to mention that 2K had a much larger crowd to worry about.

    The multiplayer is trash. When I suplexed a player, it magically stopped midway. Online appears to be laggy. Blanka's stupid rolling move infuriates me. The character creator is very in-depth and I appreciate that. Although I will not consider that a positive, because the developers were too lazy to add proper limitations to the creator. The problem with lack of proper limitations with the sliders is it will encourage players to make the most deformed looking characters possible. Lo and behold, that is exactly what happened when I entered the battle hub. On top of that, I didn't see any community creations I can browse through. I don't want to look up recipes on the internet, I should be able to browse in-game. That's how you know you're greedy, when you're lazier and a bigger cheapskate than 2K. Maybe if there was a creation community in-game, it would help lessen the awful characters in the hub. I can't enjoy the battle hub with these cringeworthy creations. Speaking of which, Luke has a cringeworthy face on the cover of this game. This made me remove the cover paper off the game case and rip it into pieces. I only recommend at $10 or wait for it to be free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    Suck people aren't enjoying it as much as I am. I played 2 for hours on the megadrive but haven't touched a SF since then. I love the feel of the combat and have had a breeze of a time in world tour...about 15 hours in. Very fun, easy to pick up

    The game is just great. The last time I played for a long time only in SF 4. Now I can't tear myself away from the game the same way as 12 years ago. Many thanks to CAPCOM for not bending under the modern agenda and making beautiful female characters. I hope the MK 1 developers will do the same and will not be led by Twitter screamers.

    As far as a product goes - Street Fighter 6 is a complete package with a lot of content and features. The issue is that a good chunk of it feels strange and low budget. Features like netcode and lobbies are functional enough and a good upgrade over last gen. The main draw of the game is the fighting system itself, which is a rehash of previous games.     The king returned, amazing gameplay, amazing characters. I can say this is what we wanted as street fighter community. Applauses to Capcom that is doing amazing things recently

    Street Fighter 6 honestly feels like the best game of the series in every facet possible. The long term will prove or disprove this though as these games tend to morph and change over their lifetime. But for this game to take that title, it’s done everything right from the outset to cement its legacy as the best of the best. This game is a recommendation for people interested in fighting games at any level, go check it out now.
