    this game is really beautiful, it's a breath of fresh air, beautiful art direction and a moving and captivating story, in just 3 hours of play it completely captivated me, it certainly deserves the indie awards, One of the best games I played this year

    a great game and wonderful neon cyberpunk city visuals. IMO many gamers have no real game they fully resonates since FPS games(non BR) a simple complex rudimentary game like this. Not sure if multiplayer would change rating, but playing the campaign was deeply satisfying when games don't really bring a hype and novelty like this game. LOVED IT needed more

    This game is something all gamers have been waiting for, It's beautiful, breathtaking and it has cats. The story will make you tear up with joy and sadness and it will give you some spooky times too. But in the end, when you finish this incredible yet sadly, short game, you will rest for a bit as the credits roll and realize the masterpiece you've just finished.

    What a refreshing and original concept. Controls are very tight and responsive. Easy to pick up and learn. Graphics are more “next gen” than anything on Xbox Series, ( I own it) and the music and sound is top notch. There’s an interesting and easy to follow story with some beautiful artistry to support it. There’s no blood and gore, nudity, swearing, or explosions, and this is the bestWhat a refreshing and original concept. Controls are very tight and responsive. Easy to pick up and learn. There’s an interesting and easy to follow story with some beautiful artistry to support it. This is the type of game I buy Playstation for and thank you to everyone who worked on this and the publishers who took a chance on something new and different. There’s an audience of people who are sick to death of the same games every year and endless sequels. I’ll take this over Call of Duty 20 or Madden 30 any day. Worth owning a PS5 for and simply a great game-do yourself a favor and play it if you’re able.… Expand

    Great and unique adventure game that was definitely worth my time and money. Not a masterpiece in my eyes, but still one of the better games in recent memory. The biggest downfalls for me were the lack of character/enemy variety and the underwhelming ending. I would've enjoyed the game quite a bit more if there was at least 1 additional level at the end.

    This game is a masterpiece. It's gorgeous, the animations are amazingly real for everything the cats do, and it gives you all the cat activities you could want - snuggling/playing with other cats, running and jumping and climbing on everything, scratching trees and couches and carpets, napping, knocking things off ledges and tables, hitting buttons on radios and remotes, playing with toys,This game is a masterpiece. It's gorgeous, the animations are amazingly real for everything the cats do, and it gives you all the cat activities you could want - snuggling/playing with other cats, running and jumping and climbing on everything, scratching trees and couches and carpets, napping, knocking things off ledges and tables, hitting buttons on radios and remotes, playing with toys, getting bags stuck on your head.... the list goes on and on.     Game is good & unique..my biggest disappointment is that you can’t jump freely & since this game is mostly exploring and physics based not being able to jump freely is a turn off & restricts the fun a bit..still worth a play

    Extremly enjoyed this game! I got the platinum too and kind off want to play it again a 3rd time. Probs the most relaxing game that came out this year.

    Even though I'm a cat person, I wasn't 100% sure what to think about it before the release. I played it and absolutely loved it. The behavior displayed is just so spot on. Refreshing and just wholesome for a change. Definitely Indie game of the year.

Amazing graphics, beautiful soundtrack, and wonderful controls on the PS5. plus the haptics and adaptive triggers are a real treat. This has been a purr-fect game!!! Even though it’s free on PS Premium and Essential, I would gladly pay for it. Hell I might even get the hard copy.     Actually, would give this game a 9 out of 10. but once again the negative reviews are a joke. There will never be a time in which a game will get a proper score. People please don't bring down scores of really special and unique games just because your upset with the world and probably a cat hater too. even if you didn't enjoy the game a 5 would have at least been more realistic. Like I said the gameplay works well, but does nothing special. I think the immersion of being a cat lost in a strange world filled with strange creatures trying to find a way back to your friends is really captivating. You aren’t a cat with superpowers or anything, which I thought was really cool. Sure the robot helps you communicate with the other creatures, but generally you move around like a cat, meow or scratch to get the attention of other creatures, and it just has this simple but heartwarming story of a cat trying to find his way home. You really become invested in the experience, I just can’t put it into words. Something about the game really tugs on your emotions. It’s just so expertly crafted that you feel a sense of investment into a minor character’s story after reading maybe 5 lines of dialogue. Then there are times where the game really makes you feel helpless as a cat, which further invests you into the story of this nameless little cat. The graphics are generally really good, the music and sound design is fantastic which really adds to the ambient experience.

    I absolutely loved this game, it didn’t set out to do anything groundbreaking, but it is a moving experience that is difficult to describe. The best way I can describe this game is that it has heart that few other games have, and it’s masterfully executed through simplicity.    … Expand

    The story is very creative and unique. I love being a cat. You can tell the developers were cat lovers by the effort they put into giving the cat a unique character without necessary talking. I have never felt so terrible when my character dies than in this game - it’s devastating.

    I've been eagerly awaiting this game since the first trailer. Of course I bought and played it right on the release date. I wasn't disappointed! It has a dark atmosphere and is very detailed. Too bad it isn't that long but I still love it.

    Heartfelt, suspenseful, beautiful and definitely has much more going for it than just "A game where you play as a cat", though that definitely is a heavy positive.
    If you think you might play this game, play it. Buy it or get it "free" on PS+. Worth the upgrade to the Extra tier just for this game.

    Transmite mucho con guiones tan breves.
    La direccion de orquesta y escena es preciosa, cambia la musica en cuanto hay una quest, estas en calma, cuando hay accion, etc.
    Los puzzles no son tan complejo, toma un poco para entenderlo, y mas si en ningun momento te dicen como debes hacerlas.
    Los guiones de todos, o incluso los cambios de enfoque, son una maravilla.

    This game does what it intended to do perfectly!

    The simple platforming is intended. Imagine if you can freely jump anywhere. It would lead to many fails and frustration which this game is not going for. It meant for you to chill, and have some awww moments.

    The world is beautiful. The puzzles are fun. The story is fantastic. Highly recommended.

    No part of my fancies myself a cat person, and yet playing this game, I didn't ever really notice I WAS a cat. I found myself constantly looking forward, peering down alleys, looking out for new things to climb on to, trying to find answers to puzzles and how to get from A to B in the most efficient way. Sure, these are inherently cat things that I'm doing, but I was so engrossed in theNo part of my fancies myself a cat person, and yet playing this game, I didn't ever really notice I WAS a cat. Sure, these are inherently cat things that I'm doing, but I was so engrossed in the world that I could hardly notice. The lore and world building is impeccably done. The puzzles are head scratchers at best, but that's the best kind. Especially for a game of this length. You don't spend longer trying to solve puzzles than you do exploring the world, and everything seems purposeful. Found a cool collectible? It solves a puzzle - now to find who takes it...etc. This game was just under 100% complete for me in 5h45m and I'm not at all bummed to go back for the Platinum.     Fell in love as soon as I first saw Stray few years back and it has more than surpassed my expectations.
    Brilliant visuals coupled with an beautifully detailed world.
    Soundtrack and audio in general is top notch as well as the lifelike animation.
    Intriguing story and such a joy to explore and discover more lore.
    More fully fledged out sequel would be pure ecstasy.

    A really enjoyable game, at first I thought it was a bit short but that was just after playing a really long RPG so it may have just seemed short by comparison... I found I enjoyed playing the whole time though, and enjoyed exploring enough I'll probably also go back and re-play some parts. I also found the game made good use of emotion and (most importantly) presented being a cat really well.

The movement, gesture and expression of the cat are really accurate and so are the element of gameplay. You move, jump and run like a cat. Which makes this game extra fun.     It's a bold and loud 9/10, ONLY due to its length, could easily enjoy a couple of hours more.
    However, since I got it for "free" due to the clever PS Plus Premium timing, here's your 10!
    Congrats to Annapurna (can these guys make a crappy game? Seems not) for this magnificent emotional experience/journey.

    Slow but good, with great art and graphics and magical music Wich combined brings us one of the most captivating games that I've played

    We need more games like this. If you like to game to unwind after a stressful workday, this is about as good as it gets. Audio-visually it's stunning. The gameplay is simple but solid. I absolutely love it.

    This game is interesting, fun and downright adorable. Playing as a cat feels unique and i really like the overall experience. And getting it with the Playstation plus for free is awesome.

    A beautiful indie game, simple and at same time charismatic, sad and mysterious. Good puzzles and characters. The gameplay could be a little bit more advanced, but it's not a problem, just a opportunity to the next game. Despite the walkthrough be short, the rhythm run good and rewarding. It was a game out of the box. I really recommend you to have this experience.

    The first time I heard of this game I thought it was silly cat simulator game, but I was surprised of the depth and layers this game presents to us, I loved every pit of this game from discovering the truth about this world to building relationship with the other characters, fantastic game.

    This game... o FFS this f... game, I just can't be 100% objective, with a game that has my two favourite things in the world so well connected in such an entertaining way, Cats and Cyberpunk esthetics.
    During the 4 to 5 hours that takes the adventure, you will cat all your way around a cyberpunk underground city, that will show the story of the demise of humanity MASTERPIECE and hopefully GOTY 22

Эта игра просто создана как показать какую-то историю. Да , лично мне не хватало тоже свободных передвижений и прочего, но я смирился с этим , ибо понимал что это не triple-A проект, и стоит она не дорого по сравнению с остальными играми. За свои деньги, игра шикарная. Любителям кошек понравиться 10/10. История не настолько длинная конечно, но помним тот факт что и игра сама по себе не дорогая, и не позиционировала как какой-то большой проект. Красивейшая графика, кот ощущается как будто живой, все эти мелкие детали когда кот ходит по клавиатуре, или же запрыгивает на пианино сделано очень круто. Во многих играх такие мелкие детали упускают, но тут это добавили и за это уже игра достойна хорошей оценки. Игра очень приятная, плавная, всегда держит в интересе что будет дальше, интересная история с интересной концовкой. Лично я не ожидал поворота сюжета как в конце и и мне стало приятно, что сюжет игры не читается с первых миссий. Для тех кому жалко отдавать за эту игру 30$ идите играйте в FIFA ,которая стоит больших денег , а на деле является обычной донатной мусоркой.

Ele conquista pela simplicidade na gameplay, na riqueza de detalhes dos cenários com a direção de arte muito bem feita e na história que é muito bonita e bem desenvolvida e tem uma grande, e ao mesmo tempo sútil, crítica social. Poderia facilmente ser um episódio de Love, Death & Robots.

    Stray is a relaxing game with an acceptable plot and impressive graphics. Despite being short, it's quite entertaining because of the multiple tasks you have to do to discover a pleasant ending.

    I’m so glad and satisfied after playing this game for 5 hours. I’m enjoying every bit of it, so not rushing for now.

    Honestly such an incredible game! I wouldn’t call it easy nor difficult, right in the middle, but can give you a but of a challenge in some bits. The graphics are amazing! Such a unique experience! Haven’t finished it yet, half way, but can already tell you guys that this is a real masterpiece!

    PS. Just finished the game, I’m in tears, the ending…

    DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

    The game is brimming with personality and mystery. I love how natural the puzzle elements are and just the way the story unfolds. I can't recommend it enough, especially considering it's free to play on PS Plus.

    A beautiful little charmer set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia that I loved exploring as a cat. The puzzles and gentle platforming challenges (mostly involving racing) were fun, but mostly this game stood out to me for its aesthetic sensibilities, chill pacing, and affectionate portrayal of its unconventional heroes.

    If you are allergic to cats, hate mystery, exploration and a good atmosphere in video games, don’t play Stray. Otherwise, you’ve probably already beaten it. It’s a rare occasion to get a title such as this. And if it looks like something you might enjoy, that’s likely because you most surely would.

    Stray makes the most of its choice of protagonist early on, really allowing you to do all the things a typical cat would do, though it eventually loses sight of that in favour of spotlighting the short story. That’s no cause for hissing, though it does leave the overall experience feeling somewhat like two kittens from different litters forced together. The combination works better than it should, but we’re ultimately left wondering what could’ve resulted if either half of the game had been given enough space to stand alone. [Issue#18, p.70]

    It sounds ridiculous. And maybe it is. But the first ten minutes of Stray broke our heart. We’re a soft-boiled egg when it comes to animals, even when they're completely fictional. A cat who loses his friends and then gets hurt? Enough for an intense feeling of sadness and pity. It is not the challenge, but the experience that is key in this game. You really play Stray for the atmosphere. And that's exactly right.
