    this game is amazing very good bravo excellent it is nothing like BOTW and i really want a sequel of this game after forces this game is a refreshment. open world concept is really fun and combat is engaging. i also really like the addition of the skill tree the story is also very amazing.

    This has to be one of the best sonic games I've played. Thanks to a new writer, the story and the characters are so good! And, we now get to play as one of the best versions of Super Sonic in the whole Sonic franchise. Amazing job Sonic team! I really hope they keep this formula for the next game.

    Very good foundational ideas that are executed mostly well but lacking polish, cyberspace has reused levels but can still feel worse because of the lack of proper quickstep, open world has no momentum unless you boost off of a ledge or ramp and it only has slope physics if you drop dash. Esse jogo e muito bom, apesar de não ser perfeito, em vários aspectos ele e impecável, ele possui um combate divertido, que dependendo da forma que você pode realizar combos fluidos, os gráficos mesmo não sendo espetaculares são ok, esse jogo possui poucos bugs, com exceção do Pop-in que realmente e o maior problema desse jogo em relação a bugs e defeitos técnicos, porém não e algo que atrapalha muito a gameplay, normalmente com o tempo que eu tive jogando, acabei ignorando com o tempo, A movimentação do Sonic no mundo aberto e bem divertida, você pode facilmente explorar o mundo sem muitas dificuldades, e sempre achar algo pra fazer, como puzzles, baús Mini Bosses e inimigos diferenciados , e se você acaba enjoando de fazer tudo isso, você pode cortar caminho pescando com o Big the cat, num minigame relaxante que você pode usar tanto para passar o tempo, tanto pra conseguir recompensas que vão te ajudar muito na sua aventura, os minibosses e inimigos que enfrentamos no caminho costumam a variar bastante um do outro, e a cada ilha eles ficam mais complexos e difíceis, nunca enjoando, e também tem os looding interativos que e uma mecânica qual sentia falta nos jogos, qual você pode aprender golpes ou executar mecânicas novas, as músicas são espetaculares, novamente a Sega se superando nas músicas do jogo, com uma trilha sensacional, principalmente nos Bosses de cada ilha, que são os que tem as melhores músicas para mim, falando nos Bosses, mais um ponto positivo, os bosses são extremamente criativos, concerteza um dos pontos mais altos do jogo inteiro, apesar do tempo em que você os derrota ser curto, o que eu queria que fosse um pouco maior, os cyber-spaces são um tanto repetitivos em cenário, queria que eles variassem mais em cenários, por que são sempre os mesmos, e as vezes fica bem chato, além da movimentação 3D no cyberspace não ser tão boa, apesar da movimentação 2D ser ótima, um ponto que eu não gostei muito, foi o uso exagerado do 2D na terceira ilha, que acaba atrapalhando as vezes, por que os itens as vezes caiem no chão, ou pro lado, e não dá para pegar, por que você acaba ficando preso na perspectiva 2D, e a 5 ilha acaba sendo bem repetitiva as vezes apesar de também ser boa, a história e excelente e profunda, e um dos melhores pontos, e espero realmente que a Sega explore mais disso, já não aguentava mais o Sonic parecendo um carro de corrida sendo obrigado a seguir um caminho pre-definido, esse jogo tem o potencial de mudar Sonic para sempre.… Expand

    Sonic frontiers is a very different take from your typical 3d sonic game, but I am glad to say that this game is great. After years of waiting for something that’s good, sonic frontiers delivers that and more. From the open zone exploration to the amazing supersonic boss fights, sonic frontiers brings a fun and refreshing new take to the typical sonic experience.

    El juego no es perfecto, tiene fallos como el popping que en ocasiones llega a ser algo exagerado, los gráficos que están justos y no destacan demasiado y el Cyberspace en general, el cual es algo bastante desaprovechado y tiene una jugabilidad bastante mala a comparación de como mueves a Sonic en el mundo abierto.
    Aún así, los puntos buenos opacan por mucho los puntos malo, un mundo    El juego no es perfecto, tiene fallos como el popping que en ocasiones llega a ser algo exagerado, los gráficos que están justos y no destacan demasiado y el Cyberspace en general, el cual es algo bastante desaprovechado y tiene una jugabilidad bastante mala a comparación de como mueves a Sonic en el mundo abierto.
    Aún así, los puntos buenos opacan por mucho los puntos malo, un mundo abierto lleno de cositas por hacer y explorar, desafíos en cada isla que, aunque no son la cosa más complicada de hacer, en su mayoría son divertidos de hacer, las batallas contra los Titanes son la cosa más épica que se ha visto en franquicia, la música es hermosa manejando 3 estilos diferentes para cada "situación", y una historia bastante buena, arreglando cosas de juegos anteriores.
    Esperemos que SEGA y el Sonic Team tomen nota de las críticas tanto positivas como negativas, ya que este rumbo que van a tomar con la franquicia es bastante bueno, y puliendolo bien pueden sacar cosas maravillosas.    … Expand

    Juego con aspectos muy mejorables, sobretodo con su pop-in que es lo más notorio del juego sin alguna duda, sonic team podría mejorarlos para una futura entrega, y debería.
    Aún con estas fallas creo que es un gran juego, con un gameplay sorpresivamente divertido y un mundo lleno de cosas para hacer, gran narrativa y diálogos de personajes, su historia me deja cosas que desear, pero me    Juego con aspectos muy mejorables, sobretodo con su pop-in que es lo más notorio del juego sin alguna duda, sonic team podría mejorarlos para una futura entrega, y debería.

    Sonic Frontiers does a lot right for the sonic franchise that past games have been unable to obtain. While some of the typical 3d sonic jank is present, the gameplay feel great once you've adjusted in the first few hours. More importantly, the challenges faced to obtain the myriad collectibles littered in each of the open world areas is feels rewarding, as they can be approached from anySonic Frontiers does a lot right for the sonic franchise that past games have been unable to obtain. While some of the typical 3d sonic jank is present, the gameplay feel great once you've adjusted in the first few hours. More importantly, the challenges faced to obtain the myriad collectibles littered in each of the open world areas is feels rewarding, as they can be approached from any angle. While there is an "intended" path for most collectibles, some times there's that one collectible that you aren't quite sure how to reach, resulting in creative methods for you to reach that spot. Landmarks are also sprinkled throughout the openwork segments that lead to cyberspace zones, which are fast-paced albeit short levels flavored from Sonic's previous adventures. These help break up the open world exploration to keep things fresh and providing new challenges along the way. There are also multiple islands, each with its on environments and enemies to keep the player engaged throughout the adventure. Enemies require different methods to defeat, so don't expect to just mash one button constantly, although that may work on a few enemies throughout the journey.

    The story isn't pushing any boundaries compared to other games this generation, but for fans of the older titles there are some nice nods to the games of the past and over all doesn't feel as cringey as some of the more recent games. If you have been a fan of sonic in the past but have fallen off with it recently, I highly recommend you give this game a chance.    … Expand

    This is the best 3d sonic game we got after Generations, it has good controls, fun islands, bosses, good combat, and a great story, the only problem is with some of the cyberspace levels but overall it was an entertaining game

    Sonic Frontiers is a really mixed game with some positives and a lot of negatives.

    Pros: + Phenomenal OST, especially for the Titan boss fights + Great graphics and overall art style + Really good story and writing, something that hasn't been a thing for over 13 years now in this series + Great open world controls, not perfect, but still very solid + There is fishing in this game    Sonic Frontiers is a really mixed game with some positives and a lot of negatives.

    Pros:
    + Phenomenal OST, especially for the Titan boss fights
    + Great graphics and overall art style
    + Really good story and writing, something that hasn't been a thing for over 13 years now in this series
    + Great open world controls, not perfect, but still very solid
    + There is fishing in this game
    + Titan bossfights while undercooked like a lot of stuff in Frontiers are really hype
    + Combat while repetitive and button mashy has its moment of fun to be had

    Now for the negatives:
    - REALLY bad animations that look incredibly unfinished and very goofy, due to how low effort they are
    - The constant pop in is so bad it makes the first Wipeout games sweat nervously
    - Constant floating rails, platforms etc. look incredibly distracting and look like somebody went into a lvl designer and slapped around a bunch of assets to not make the open world look empty and shallow
    - Cyberspace is trash all around from it's controls, to lvl themes, to no original lvl layouts
    - The game is way too easy even on hard difficulty
    - 2/3 of the open world activities are flat out boring
    - WHY IS THERE 2D IN AN OPEN WORLD GAME??
    - The physics feel like something straight out of 06

    Overall: Frontiers is a REALLY undercooked game that needed at least 1 more year of dev time, regardless there is some enjoyment to be had with it. It's nothing special, nor is it anything God awful like forces is.    … Expand

    in the gameplay it is a very fun, entertaining and above all creative game. The story really wants the characters to change for the better. The only bad thing about the game is its popping errors and some small bugs (or well that's all I found because there could be many more)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the physics are garbage compared to both 2d and 3d previous sonic games, with modders already putting out things to fix it after just a few days which makes you wonder if it's this easy for a modder to do in just a few days... what were the devs doing? the dialogue is boring and unimaginative at best and weirdly cringe at worst (except for some moments with eggman that are oddly wholesome). I've also seen plenty of people complain about the way sonic is voice acted. you're often forced into 2d platforming when it shouldn't be necessary and even then, it's easy to fall or miss springs that you should be bounced to directly which sometimes loses you a lot of progress depending on your location in the game. game mechanics are wildly inconsistent with one particular important boss fight relying on game mechanics that feel nothing like a sonic game whatsoever. the majority of your time will be spent on tedious gathering tasks in order to progress while being gated behind messages or areas that break the immersion. these areas are sometimes crucial for complete map exploration meaning you can't unlock the whole map with fast travel on some islands without making progress on the main story line. most animations you should be able to skip past with a simple click of "a" you just can't, and the skills you can level to 99 have to be done 1 by 1 while waiting for an animation to finish before being able to put another single skill level in. most areas and levels within the game feel as if they had little to no playtesting done because you often have to move in ridiculously particular ways to compensate for the failures in game mechanics, physics, and level designs. I really wanted to love this game, but in all honesty unless they fix a ton of issues, it has absolutely no replay value and isn't very memorable in any way besides sections that frustrate the player. beyond that, the amount of hand holding done through dialogue is insane especially when compared with the difficulty of other areas of the game. one redeeming factor is the boss fights and mini boss fights, most of which are done really well, but some rely on weird gimmicks that, again, are more frustrating than actually fun or challenging. in a game where you're supposed to be playing as a super speed hedgehog, it's insane how much the game throws in your path to forcibly slow you down or limit your movement to exactly what they want you to do. all of that being said, I genuinely did enjoy a good amount of this game, especially the fishing, which you can sometimes use to avoid tedious gathering tasks. the developers have stated they're listening to the reviews and are working to fix their failings. I do truly believe this game is the start of a really good change for the franchise, and if they continue with this style and work on some of these issues, the next games will be incredible.… Expand

    This is the best Sonic game, in my opinion, the story is great, the characters are written so well, including Sage who I want to see more of in future games, the game-play is fun and addicting, and the bosses (even the twist for the last one) are fantastic and epic alongside the music. Finished it just now and I loved it.

    The idea and vision of the game is absolutely fabulous. In practice, however, the game is brought down by its execution, which you can see through after a short while and then the game has nothing to surprise you with. [Issue#324]

    There is nothing remotely redeeming about this game. Nothing that even the most die-hard loyal Sonic Fans would or should advocate for. I hope that one day someone who cares enough about this franchise could give us something-anything of substance. A fan can hope, can’t they? A fan can hope.

    Finally, after almost 25years of half measures and mostly mediocre titles, Sonic has finally reached the 3D levels of gameplay it needed to reach. Yes, the pop in is absolutely inexcusable and the ancient gatekeeping grindy methods damage the flow of the game for no reason, but a wonderfully built base exists here, with a highly entertaining adventure in wonderfully melancholic world and a surprisingly well founded story, thankfully clean of Sonic’s annoying 3rd tier friends!
