    As advertised. Lots of fun. 8/10 but just counterbalancing whiners.

    Exactly as advertised, lots of fun. Not reinventing the wheel, nor did it promise to. Just a fun arcade open world playground.

    I absolutely love this game. I had to giggle more than once with the crazy stuff going on and it's a great game. I love it more than GTAV, I honestly don't understand the negative reviews, they must be playing another game? I love this game.

It is so like the first part in the series where you had almost nothing to do on the map but gameplay was so addictive. And that's why it's the great reboot. It is not like SR The third or SR4 because they were OVERLOADED with absurd. IDK why all deciided to bury it with negative. i have no bugs or else.What is wrong with all of you, people?     yeah it has bugs but look up what causes a game to bug aka it's not the developers fault therefore a game can not be judged on bugs and all bugs in this game are very easy to remove aka trying different routes going into the style app simply switching the game on and off etc there realistically nothing to give this game bad marks the game is fun and that's how games should be

    I've played this for around 10 hours so far and it is everything I wanted it to be in the most part. Yes, there are a few bugs and glitches that need to be patched, but then that's the same with a lot of games in the early days!     I've played this for around 10 hours so far and it is everything I wanted it to be in the most part. Yes, there are a few bugs and glitches that need to be patched, but then that's the same with a lot of games in the early days! I play this co-op and we've had a lot of laughs from the characters in the story and the game itself is very fun. What I like most about it. Is that it has dinar vibes to Saints Row II and The Third before it got really silly. I still played IV and Gat Out of He'll but they weren't that good overall, so I for one am glad to see they've reverted back to driving being more necessary than just jumping really high and essentially flying.

    I'd give this an 8.5/10 but marking as 10 because people giving it between 0-3 on purpose is a disgrace. Even games I strongly dislike I would always rate fairly.    … Expand

    To preface, I've beaten this game. I've 100%ed the map. I've experienced every mission and activity there is to do in this game, so keep that in mind.

    This game is worth a 7/10, but I'm giving it a 10 to counterbalance all the 0-1 reviews this game doesn't deserve. This game isn't bad. It's a competently designed but clumsily put-together Gen-Z Power Fantasy. The main thing this    To preface, I've beaten this game. I've 100%ed the map.     This game is worth a 7/10, but I'm giving it a 10 to counterbalance all the 0-1 reviews this game doesn't deserve.

    This game isn't bad. It's a competently designed but clumsily put-together Gen-Z Power Fantasy. The main thing this reboot does for the franchise is that it takes the story beats from the first 2 games and re-contextualizes them in a Millenial lens. When people complain that this game "wokified" the series, that's what they're talking about. When they're talking about "censorship," 4 things happened. The **** bats are gone, RimJobs and **** were renamed to JimRob's and FB's, and there are no prostitutes. If funny sex and hookers were what Saints Row was to you, then this game isn't for you.

    But that starts to be one of this game's problems, in a marketing sense. The Volition devs spent so much time away from the scene, just to more or less alienate their Hard-R Gamer audience by leaning left for its target audience. This is a necessary calculated risk for any modern AA studio, but in keeping everything else exactly the same they haven't really brought much to compensate for this loss. And that's why this game gets such a bad rep: the only unique thing they have to bring is the most controversial one.

    If you want to hear an actual review about this game, go watch Yahtzee's take on Zero Punctuation; he talks about how this game technically does so many things right but fails to deliver an engaging experience because it's so outdated and derivative to itself. If you're done with that, here are more things to say:

    The game is competently designed. When I say that, I mean the people who laid this game out on the drawing board knew how to design video games. The cutscene cinematography is good. The game systems are laid out well. The graphics are outdated, but the artstyle is fine, and next-gen graphics are severely overrated. The main characters are basically likeable. The writing works. The humor is fine. (I've played Borderlands 3, I know what bad humor and writing in a game looks like, and this isn't it. One key difference being that this game doesn't force you to sit there and listen to people talk before the game lets you play. All the cutscenes are skippable and the dialogue happens during active gameplay, so none of it is intrusive.)

    The issue comes with how all these designs are put together. The programming is embarrassing; I've run into so many obnoxious bugs in my playthrough every day. Clothes and weapons will randomly equip and unequip themselves. Sometimes cars will get stuck on nothing and explode. Sometimes no cars will load in at all. Combat just doesn't work as well as it should at all times. The in-game animations are boring and simplistic. Many side objectives are blatant padding. All of it is sure signs of a game that needed more time and better management, which is likely a luxury the studio just didn't have.

    In conclusion, this game isn't great. But it's playable, and it kills time well. I'd much rather have dealt with this game's **** than any live-service, online-only, subscription-model, you-don't-own-anything ass **** that every other company is pushing into the industry. This game has a kind of simple purity that comes from being from an older and, in my opinion, better time.

    tl;dr I give it a C, a C+ if the bugs are fixed. It'll kill 10 hours and won't make you puke. Buy it for 30 bucks.    … Expand

    I think it‘s the best game i‘ve ever played. I know it has some bugs, but i never had as much fun with a game as i have with Saints Row :) so Thank you! It doesn’t deserve those bad reviews at all. They are all wrong because they haven’t even played it. But seriously, it‘s so good!

    The Characters are amazingly written. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. The world is beautiful and    I think it‘s the best game i‘ve ever played.     I spent almost 40+ hours in this game, the story is good, the missions are insanely cool, I love them.
    The environment in this game is beautiful, it's like walking through an art museum. The graphics here are great, the stunning sunsets and sunrises are just breathtaking. The music is good, I like how they mixed old and new styles, even if I don't really like the new style. The characters    I spent almost 40+ hours in this game, the story is good, the missions are insanely cool, I love them.

This game has always lived in GTA's shadow, and people review it basically trying to compare this to the likes of GTA quality. Its not like GTA its supposed to be quirky, dumb and ridiculous that is part of its charm and identity. I've always loved SR except parts of 4 and GatEveryone forgets how saints row was received every time one came out, it was never really liked among reviewers. This game is incredibly funny, I could barely even control my laughter while playing! The controls are also biblical

Сюжет болле менее. Больше смахивает на 2 часть. Хоть игра и имеет минусы, но попробовать стоит.Неплохое продолжение для этой серии.     In my mind, does NOT deserve the hate its getting. The game is awesome, fun and indeed 100% a Saints Row game. Granted, it may not be the Saints Row we were used too (SR 1,2,3,4, GOH) but its deffinently a fresh title in the series. I have encounter little to no bugs/glitches, and for me, the game feels EXACTLY how a Saints Row game in 2022 should feel.

Mechanic, Nerd, Crazy One, and then your character who can literally be whatever you make them. Vehicle customization is better than ever. Guns are alright but are also fully customizable which makes up for the variety. The city/map is absolutely gorgeous, the attention to detail and cultural influences are spot on. In no way does the city feel lifeless. A lot of returning radio stations, great soundtrack when causing chaos.

    All in all, it's a good game and a great saints row. Don't get up with what is considered woke or generational and just enjoy the mayhem and comedy.    … Expand

Говорят, что можно встретить как пожарные тушат огонь, но я не видел. Стрельба более менее, но в мафии 3 лучше. Годная игра лучше стоит проходить с другомОптимизация ужасная. What most of these reviews are, are just sheep that watch **** reviewers like Skillup and ACG and run over to try and change the world on Metacritic. It's not GTA. They never tried to be. But it's a fun open world sandbox with hours of fun shenanigans to be had. If you want a game that doesn't take itself seriously, but has a decent story and lots of things to chase down, give it a shot. Yeah there is some "woke" crap. Who cares?     This game is buggy but not unplayable, i find it quite funny, story isn't the best but still enjoyable.. Liked the characters though somel of them lacks the charisma of Gat and Shaundi. The mini games are as fun as usual thiugh the gameplay sometimes is frustrating.

    When i see people bashing this game with 0 rating, it's so exagerated... No game, not even the worst deserves a 0..     So far I’m enjoying the hell out of this game. There are some bugs here and there but over all a solid experience. Co op is fun, glad the saves transfer over too. Definitely recommend for a fun over the top open world action adventure game.

    15 hours of play time. I’ve really enjoyed the characters, story, and setting overall. Have had a few small bugs but none too problematic!

    Can say if you enjoy the Saints Row series gameplay you’ll enjoy this. More of what you already loved.

    I’ve managed to get through most of the story, so I feel comfortable writing a review. The developers stated when they revealed that they were going for a mix between Saints Row 2/The Third, and I think they’ve managed to hit the nail on the head beautifully with this reboot. The tone is not quite as over-the-top ridiculous and wacky as The Third/IV were (though I loved them dearly forI’ve managed to get through most of the story, so I feel comfortable writing a review. The developers stated when they revealed that they were going for a mix between Saints Row 2/The Third, and I think they’ve managed to hit the nail on the head beautifully with this reboot. The tone is not quite as over-the-top ridiculous and wacky as The Third/IV were (though I loved them dearly for it), but doesn’t take itself quite as seriously as 2. This makes your time in Santo Illeso so addictive enjoyable whether you’re tearing through the story to get more time with the lovable cast of new Saints and other supporting characters, or just roaming the city looking for some trouble to get into. And there’s no shortage of things to get up to. Activities make their return in the form of “Criminal Ventures,” including old favorites (like my personal fav Insurance Fraud!) and some new ones, and give you plenty of ways to increase your influence and revenue stream. Additionally there are plenty of ambient activities, such as Hidden Histories, which gives the player a chance to learn more about Santo Illeso’s in-game history as well as pick up a few Easter eggs along the way ;).

    I haven’t run into any of the technical difficulties others are talking about, but I also haven’t been trying co-op or anything like that. Hopefully it’ll get patched up and into a playable state for everyone soon. The driving is okay—some of the vehicles don’t handle that great and there isn’t an off-roading option for everything (which as someone who mainly drives motorcycles, not a huge fan of). The wingsuiting controls are not very intuitive or smooth once you do get the hang of them. Minor nitpicks on an otherwise great game that’s been a lot of fun so far.    … Expand

I have to admit the first story quest I thought was kind of cringe but as I played through the game I started to fall in love with the characters and with the open world.     This has been an excellent game. Its a decent size map to explore with tons of collectibles discoveries and all sorts of different little things you can do you simply have to comb the desert.

    This is a great game. No it is not like the originals, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. The original story was obviously complete long before the 4th game. I have had a blast starting the Saints from the ground up.

    Very fun. No deep story, or revolutionary gameplay, just pure chaotic fun.

    This game is essentially Saints Row 3, with a little more polish and visual upgrade.

    I've seen many reports of game breaking bugs, but I've personally not encountered any, but your mileage may vary.

    If you loved Saints Row 3, you'll love this - just don't expect anything different.

    I am really baffled on the universal hate on this game. It is a good open world game with a ton of fun stuff to do. If you like GTA style open world games, you will love it. I did not find it repetitive at all. The only downside is that the game crashes a lot, but hopefully this will be fixed in a patch. Just play the game yourself before you judge it so harshly.

    Saints row has always been the wacky alternative to GTA. This game continues that trend. After the initial linear start of the game, you are off to start your criminal empire. This is where the fun begins. There is no shortage of activities to enjoy. Not without its bugs but plenty to do and a beautiful map to explore.

    The people who say game trash has not spend a full day or more on this game or just jump the bandwagon to say it’s trash

    Cars: great customization, different options, and a lot of cars
    Guns: different types has perks and has great performances to it
    The characters: funny, cool, I enjoy playing with them
    The map: big, a lot of activities to do
    Story: great storyline I will not spoil it

    It's a very good game. The story is okay, some characters can be annoying, but overall it's good. The map is very large and contains many interesting activities, the city is also very detailed. The best aspect of the game is definitely building a criminal empire, buying real estate and fighting other gangs. I recommend! 9/10

    Let me start this by saying I have loved SR since the first game came out and have played each on release. This game is as good as SR3. Also, I have absolutely ZERO tolerance for woke garbage and that just doesn't exist in this game.eveey single person reviewing this game and saying its "woke" haven't actually played the game at all.     Only a bug or two throughout the entire playthrough so either I'm really lucky or others are exaggerating. The characters were likeable, good customization options for you boss and ride, big city and different environments. I feel like the side quests could have offered a bit more variety or story but some were a lot of fun. If you liked SR4 then I think you'll probably like this one too.

The same grindy missions, the same endless killing, the same over the top set pieces, complete with a surreal one near the end which reminds us of the "housewife" matrix simulation in 4. What do I mean. Well, true Saints fans will understand. This game is a Saints Row game, from top to bottom. The same corny dialogues, being self aware, everything, along with the killing. The end battle is great, the showdown is great. This game is great. IF YOU KNOW SAINTS ROW. It is the SAME thing with the past ones. I honestly dont understand the reviews. The dialogue was ALWAYS like this. ALWAYS. These people make me wonder, have they EVER played a saints row? They think that is silly? Dude, Saints 3 ends with them being in a movie in mars. Note the majority of the negative reviews are deriding the "woke" aspect of the game, which should be a giveaway that none of them have played the game because it's not really a thing in the game.

BUT what I played was really not as tragic as some people put it, I don’t know if it was a bad early copy or not, but i didn’t encounter any real game breaking bugs, the most annoying bug i encountered was that the colors i set for some weapons would go back to default and blurry graphics.

    I hope Volition doesn’t give up, fixes the major bugs and brings great expansions. Under all the hate there is a good and fun game.

    And like I always say/do, never judge a game too hardly by its scores/ratings, it’s all mostly subjective.    … Expand
