Teyon hit it out the park again with Unfinished Business. While the game can feel extremely linear, they alleviate this with open spaces for downtime or small asides for story perspectives. The story won’t win awards, but it’s propelled forward by a journey which has momentum through excellent combat encounters and enjoyable investigation sections. Fans of immersive sims or Robocop, this is a no-brainer.

Robocop Rogue City: Unfinished Business is an almost ideal shooter, where our beloved powerhouse Robocop dishes out justice across a crime-ridden tower it won’t take the smile off your face for a single moment.

Teyon’s standalone chapter builds on Rogue City’s excellent gameplay loop with a well-paced story, excellent writing, and a polished experience that could have been longer but still delivers on all fronts.

It's always great to find games inspired by films that respect and embrace the entire universe created. RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is one of those games that tells an excellent story, adding significantly to the lore established by the films. It's remarkable that the title knows exactly where it's going and manages to deliver on its promises. The new additions bring a certain freshness, enriching the narrative without losing the essence established by Rogue City. A great action game and an excellent addition to the RoboCop universe.

Robocop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business simply offers more of the original's bloody bombast. Teyon knows what works for the game version of the iconic film universe and goes all out. Fun gunplay and skills, combined with the variety of weapons and a few pleasant surprises, make Unfinished Business a fantastic expansion that fans of the original shouldn't miss.

With improved shooting mechanics and an even greater focus on action, Unfinished Business is the perfect excuse to return to Rogue City and revisit one of the best adaptations of the RoboCop universe.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a gritty, action-packed expansion that builds on the brutal satisfaction of the original. While it's a bit easier and has its fair share of bugs, it still powerfully captures what matters most—feeling like RoboCop in all his relentless, law-enforcing glory.

Unfinished Business as a whole is a worthwhile addition to the RoboCop lore. Its thoughtful narrative and empowering gunplay are unique within the first-person shooter genre and loyally translate RoboCop’s core tenets into an interactive form. Some of Rogue City’s issues, like abysmal lip syncing and awkward dialogue camera, have carried over into this standalone expansion, but those are relatively small dents in this game’s shiny armor. Like most bullets, they bounce off RoboCop’s chassis and don’t impede his ability to serve and protect.

This standalone expansion delivers a tighter, more action-focused campaign with new weapons, environmental executions, and a deeper look into RoboCop's character, while maintaining the series' satirical tone and fan-service appeal, though its weak enemy AI, technical issues, and uneven playable character sections slightly diminish the experience.

Robocop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a great follow-up to its 2022 predecessor. While it’s an expansion with a few imperfections, it easily delivers more than enough value for its modest price tag.

Unfinished Business is a great evolution of Teyon’s take on RoboCop, with the more focused narrative and progression helping the story to push you through some combat encounters, whilst also adding some excellent lore to the wider world of Alex Murphy. If you enjoyed the first game, and maybe even if you didn’t, then I can recommend this return to Detroit. You have more than ten seconds to comply, but resistance is futile.

Being a standalone expansion to RoboCop: Rogue City, Unfinished Business understandably offers largely more of the same violent first-person crime-fighting action with investigation elements. There are some new weapons to play with, however, and some new enemies to use them on. Throw in some flashback sequences which switch up the action somewhat, and you have an entertaining title available at a budget price.

While it starts slow, RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business finds its groove and keeps going. The gameplay is as ferocious as ever, with some great character work balancing it out with several heartfelt moments. If you liked Rogue City, you have no excuse not to grab Unfinished Business, and if you’re new to Teyon’s take, prepare to have a heck of a time.

Just like Rogue City, Unfinished Business is the gaming equivalent of stuffing your face with pizza and popcorn on a Saturday night. It’s not overly complex or flashy, but it’s wonderfully indulgent.

Just like in the original, the action is incredibly satisfying, and the addition of new enemies adds a little more variety to the adventure. This adventure is standalone and definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the original game. At the same time, it is still not technically stable, and because of the OmniTower setting, it is a lot grimmer and at times a bit more boring to watch. Nevertheless, it is a solid and fun shooter.

RoboCop: Unfinished Business is a direct sequel to Rogue City that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel—just adds new enemies to shoot, a story that makes RoboCop confront his past, and a solid, contained experience. It’s more of the same and won’t surprise anyone, but if you played the first game and enjoyed it, you’ll probably like what you find here too.

It's a power fantasy in its purest form. A powerful, sometimes clumsy, but always honest homage to a time when action heroes weren't cool, but brutal. It's a game for fans, for nostalgics, for everyone who wishes their video games weren't always bigger, but simply better at what they want to do. When RoboCop lumbers through the halls, delivering one-liners and restoring order with his assault rifle and steel fist, it feels right. No other game currently captures the essence of the character so well on screen. And that's despite not even trying to be modern. "Unfinished Business" isn't perfect. But it's RoboCop. And sometimes that's completely enough.

RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business still shines in moments. Upgrading Robo’s Auto-9 to new levels of destruction, perfectly executing a slow-mo takedown on a half-dozen scumbag meat puppets, and then petting a stray cat can feel great. It’s the in-between parts and the cohesive whole that still need an upgrade.
