Feb 20, 2026Teyon hit it out the park again with Unfinished Business. While the game can feel extremely linear, they alleviate this with open spaces for downtime or small asides for story perspectives. The story won’t win awards, but it’s propelled forward by a journey which has momentum through excellent combat encounters and enjoyable investigation sections. Fans of immersive sims or Robocop, this is a no-brainer.
-
Aug 25, 2025Robocop Rogue City: Unfinished Business is an almost ideal shooter, where our beloved powerhouse Robocop dishes out justice across a crime-ridden tower it won’t take the smile off your face for a single moment.
-
Jul 19, 2025Teyon’s standalone chapter builds on Rogue City’s excellent gameplay loop with a well-paced story, excellent writing, and a polished experience that could have been longer but still delivers on all fronts.
-
Jul 17, 2025It's always great to find games inspired by films that respect and embrace the entire universe created. RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is one of those games that tells an excellent story, adding significantly to the lore established by the films. It's remarkable that the title knows exactly where it's going and manages to deliver on its promises. The new additions bring a certain freshness, enriching the narrative without losing the essence established by Rogue City. A great action game and an excellent addition to the RoboCop universe.
-
Jul 28, 2025Robocop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business simply offers more of the original's bloody bombast. Teyon knows what works for the game version of the iconic film universe and goes all out. Fun gunplay and skills, combined with the variety of weapons and a few pleasant surprises, make Unfinished Business a fantastic expansion that fans of the original shouldn't miss.
-
Jul 28, 2025With improved shooting mechanics and an even greater focus on action, Unfinished Business is the perfect excuse to return to Rogue City and revisit one of the best adaptations of the RoboCop universe.
-
Jul 20, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a gritty, action-packed expansion that builds on the brutal satisfaction of the original. While it's a bit easier and has its fair share of bugs, it still powerfully captures what matters most—feeling like RoboCop in all his relentless, law-enforcing glory.
-
Jul 18, 2025Unfinished Business as a whole is a worthwhile addition to the RoboCop lore. Its thoughtful narrative and empowering gunplay are unique within the first-person shooter genre and loyally translate RoboCop’s core tenets into an interactive form. Some of Rogue City’s issues, like abysmal lip syncing and awkward dialogue camera, have carried over into this standalone expansion, but those are relatively small dents in this game’s shiny armor. Like most bullets, they bounce off RoboCop’s chassis and don’t impede his ability to serve and protect.
-
Jul 18, 2025This standalone expansion delivers a tighter, more action-focused campaign with new weapons, environmental executions, and a deeper look into RoboCop's character, while maintaining the series' satirical tone and fan-service appeal, though its weak enemy AI, technical issues, and uneven playable character sections slightly diminish the experience.
-
Jul 18, 2025Robocop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a great follow-up to its 2022 predecessor. While it’s an expansion with a few imperfections, it easily delivers more than enough value for its modest price tag.
-
Jul 17, 2025Unfinished Business is a great evolution of Teyon’s take on RoboCop, with the more focused narrative and progression helping the story to push you through some combat encounters, whilst also adding some excellent lore to the wider world of Alex Murphy. If you enjoyed the first game, and maybe even if you didn’t, then I can recommend this return to Detroit. You have more than ten seconds to comply, but resistance is futile.
-
Jul 17, 2025Being a standalone expansion to RoboCop: Rogue City, Unfinished Business understandably offers largely more of the same violent first-person crime-fighting action with investigation elements. There are some new weapons to play with, however, and some new enemies to use them on. Throw in some flashback sequences which switch up the action somewhat, and you have an entertaining title available at a budget price.
-
Jul 17, 2025While it starts slow, RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business finds its groove and keeps going. The gameplay is as ferocious as ever, with some great character work balancing it out with several heartfelt moments. If you liked Rogue City, you have no excuse not to grab Unfinished Business, and if you’re new to Teyon’s take, prepare to have a heck of a time.
-
Jul 17, 2025Just like Rogue City, Unfinished Business is the gaming equivalent of stuffing your face with pizza and popcorn on a Saturday night. It’s not overly complex or flashy, but it’s wonderfully indulgent.
-
Aug 8, 2025Just like in the original, the action is incredibly satisfying, and the addition of new enemies adds a little more variety to the adventure. This adventure is standalone and definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the original game. At the same time, it is still not technically stable, and because of the OmniTower setting, it is a lot grimmer and at times a bit more boring to watch. Nevertheless, it is a solid and fun shooter.
-
Jul 30, 2025RoboCop: Unfinished Business is a direct sequel to Rogue City that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel—just adds new enemies to shoot, a story that makes RoboCop confront his past, and a solid, contained experience. It’s more of the same and won’t surprise anyone, but if you played the first game and enjoyed it, you’ll probably like what you find here too.
-
Jul 17, 2025It's a power fantasy in its purest form. A powerful, sometimes clumsy, but always honest homage to a time when action heroes weren't cool, but brutal. It's a game for fans, for nostalgics, for everyone who wishes their video games weren't always bigger, but simply better at what they want to do. When RoboCop lumbers through the halls, delivering one-liners and restoring order with his assault rifle and steel fist, it feels right. No other game currently captures the essence of the character so well on screen. And that's despite not even trying to be modern. "Unfinished Business" isn't perfect. But it's RoboCop. And sometimes that's completely enough.
-
Jul 23, 2025While Rogue City was the ultimate RoboCop game, Unfinished Business feels more like a watered-down rerun — albeit one with a few extra hits of sweet nostalgia.
-
Aug 10, 2025While more of RoboCop: Rogue City is definitely welcome, this stand alone follow-up cannot reach the same heights as the original. Mostly confined to the corridors of the Omnitower, it lacks the finesse of roaming the streets of Old Detroit. Exchanging the joys of ticketing an ill-parked car for a splatterfest, Unfinished Business resembles a continuous shooting range a bit too much.
-
Aug 6, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a good sequel to the original game, but perhaps it works better as a full-fledged DLC rather than a standalone expansion. Still, the title manages to satisfactorily continue RoboCop's fight against Detroit's crime, even if occasionally some heads don't explode as intended.
-
Jul 25, 2025Unfinished Business is pretty much a full game in an expansion’s clothing, likely not billed as one due to the single location and lack of story relevance. The premise and new toys are cool, but the brevity of touted additions like ED-209 is disappointing and OmniTower can get too samey. Lovers of Rogue City will get good mileage out of it though, even if it won’t blow anyone away.
-
Jul 17, 2025Robocop Rogue City Unfinished Business is a bit of a "same old, same old" in a condensed format that gets right to the heart of the matter: more fun, more excitement, more action... And well, that's pretty good as it is.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business offers a tighter, more compact take on the original. While the story remains fairly shallow, this puts the focus on gameplay, with new weapons, enemies, and executions that help elevate the experience. Returning players will know what to expect and likely enjoy what’s on offer, but if the base game didn’t win you over, there’s nothing here that will change your mind. While it doesn’t reinvent anything, Unfinished Business is a satisfying extension for those eager to jump back into RoboCop’s boots.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is more of the same, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The combat is excellent, the new setting is fun, and Peter Weller is back!
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Unfinished Business is another action-filled romp through a beloved universe, although one that struggles to truly set itself apart from its predecessor.
-
Jul 17, 2025For fans, Unfinished Business is a rather blunt but entertaining piece of fan service. Everyone else should think twice before buying.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business sets out its stall just by virtue of its title and has enough in the tank to provide for a worthwhile outing, particularly at its lower price point. For those who found a lot to love in the preceding Rogue City, you'll find something very similar here, which is not nearly as much to its detriment as it is to its good.
-
Jul 17, 2025Another loving homage to the glory of RoboCop and despite only being a standalone expansion this features quite a few new ideas, as well as some hugely satisfying combat.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City Unfinished Business feels as fun as the first game by offering interesting additions that reinforce the affection for the 1980s cyborg cop. However, the feeling of repetition and lack of variety persists despite the new features. In addition, its technical flaws and bugs weigh down the final result more than necessary.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business won’t disappoint fans of the 2023 shooter simply wanting more pulpy shootouts in a dystopian Detroit. And perhaps as a standalone experience and not a true sequel, Unfinished Business is passable. But a lack of fresh ideas and a safe setting lack the humanity found within the cold confines of RoboCop’s hardened steel.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is a lot of fun. I honestly did want more RoboCop, and that’s exactly what I got. Sure, you don’t get to ticket cars this time, but you do get to resolve disputes between neighbours and tell punks to make your day! I just wish that it didn’t have so many major issues.
-
Edge MagazineAug 8, 2025But at least there's less of the narrative mush to wade through this time, and if we start to flag late on, much is forgiven when Unfinished Business grants us control of an ED-209. [Issue#414, p.122]
-
Jul 17, 2025You can't really go wrong with Unfinished Business if you enjoyed its underrated predecessor, but expectations need to be kept in check. This standalone follow-up is disappointingly rough around the edges, and although its comically violent combat remains satisfying, it's not varied enough to elevate the entire action-heavy campaign. Still, we're never going to say no to more Rogue City. Teyon still manages to capture the campy 80s spirit of RoboCop here, and that'll drive most players to the top of OmniTower.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business offers another serving of ultra violence to indulge in but doesn’t do much by way of new spins on the original’s action. It’s a form of mindless fun that’s as familiar as it is ferocious.
-
Jul 17, 2025RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business is a repetitive slog coasting on the goodwill of a venerated licensed IP to mask a deadening mix of mediocre shooting, repetitive levels, and a bland story.

Jul 18, 2025RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business still shines in moments. Upgrading Robo’s Auto-9 to new levels of destruction, perfectly executing a slow-mo takedown on a half-dozen scumbag meat puppets, and then petting a stray cat can feel great. It’s the in-between parts and the cohesive whole that still need an upgrade.
