    A brilliant take on a genre I dont often play. Returnal draws from so many video game and movies and yet still remains its own game. The dark mysterious planet of Atropos is a brilliant setting and the unique alien lifeforms pose an incredible challenge. Housemarque turns a bullet hell arcade shooter and gave it a brilliant fleshed out story. Highly recommend this incredible game despiteA brilliant take on a genre I dont often play.     Very Challenging, very Addicting and Very Difficult. Housemarque hit the mark with this one! Visually stunning, very stable 60fps and the addition of the Dualsense's features is the cherry on top.

    Incredible game, demanding and satisfying, sometimes frustrating, it's an incredible and intense experience.

    It felt like a soul-like experience, it's the first rogue-lite I played that much and to the end.

    If you like this kind of games don't skip it!

The haptic feedback on the DualSense is impressive, as well as the visuals and sounds. I haven’t played this genre of game before but despite dying countless times, I can’t help but keep Returning. (No pun included). I’ve had no performance issues, theIt can be hard, and at times painful game to play. It’s not a game for everyone, more to those who like a challenging gaming experience. The haptic feedback on the DualSense is impressive, as well as the visuals and sounds. I haven’t played this genre of game before but despite dying countless times, I can’t help but keep Returning.     This game amazes me every time I play it. Excellent graphic and sound sector. Particle effects are very beautiful. The gameplay is very fluid, fast and adrenaline-pumping. I hope Housemarque will continue to support Returnal with new updates and new activities to do. Good job

    Keep at it, this is a deep, satisfying, exciting game and any initial frustration will fall away as you get better and figure out more of what the game has to offer. I'm pretty bad at most games like this, but I have to say, after a couple of hours, you get the hang of the combat and the experience evolves into something pretty special.     I’m not normally a fan of roguelikes, but I’m hooked on this game. 15 hours in and I just keep thinking about my next run. The game is hard, but once you make a plan and find a weapon that you like it becomes easier.

Lets be clear no matter your taste this game is a 7-9 depending on who you are, great soundtrack, aliens vibe fun gameplay loop and very addictive. yes there is a checkpoint (even if you turn your console off) midway through the game, so anyone complaining about that, obviously hasn't played it. i am giving this a 10 because of all the bots out here giving it a low scores, they ain't fooling anyone with those biased profiles… Expand

    Dónde más brilla es en su apartado jugable, haciendo gala de unos disparos frenéticos que resultan altamente satisfactorios, obviamente marca de la casa. El apartado gráfico y sonoro son tan sublimes que en conjunto conforman un juego agradable de ver y escuchar.

And a very satisfying one. Housemarque is specialist for this kind of games that test your abilities. The story is intriguing, the visuals are sublime and the gameplay is very fun. Los gráficos no podrán ser los mejores, pero están bien para ser su primer triple A, el gameplay es frenético y no faltara acción, la banda sonora es aterradora y melodiosa y la historia esta medio rara. Как я вижу из отзывов, основная претензия игроков, это сложность и тот факт, что после каждой смерти начинаешь сначала. Какие могут быть претензии к игре, если она следует канонам жанра? В таком случае и Souls-серия должна получать низкие оценки, однако этого не происходит. По какой причине? Потому что все знают, что это тяжелая серия игр. Вот и с Returnal то же самое, это тяжелая игра, но от этого она не становится хуже, покупая эту игру вы должны понимать, что вам будет очень не легко. Претензию из-за фуллпрайса, так же считаю не состоятельной. Такая цена стандарт для нашей с вами любимой индустрии, такие реалии, хотим мы этого или нет. Returnal выглядит дорого, наверняка в игру вложили много денежных ресурсов, почему она должна стоить дешевле условной FIFA или Call of Duty, кои выходят каждый год, еще и часто сырыми. Подытожу - Returnal очень красивый, сложный и качественный продукт, ставя такие низкие оценки, аудитория дает знать издателю, что не хочет видеть такие хорошие игры у себя на полке, это плохо. Сони выражаю низкий поклон, в очередной раз показывают индустрии, что они одни из немногих, кто делает полный, качественный и сильный продукт, CD Project RED есть чему поучиться у сони.… Expand

    It's not mainstream! Want to play 30 minutes after work? No way! You have to sweat and learn a lot to manage the fast and unforgiving Gameplay. If you like rougelike, 3rd person action and SciFi its your game. The audio effects tops the graphics if you use 3D audio headphones. The only big negative thing is the saving mechanism that is practically not there. 8,5 of 10 Points.

    Absolutely brilliant. Only real negative was the lack of any type of save feature but I just used the PS5 rest mode. Still, an odd design choice (that I bet they address). The long runs can be a bit much but Returnal overall is one of the best games and most innovative games in the last couple of years.

    Gosto muito de Rogue-Likes e MetroidVanias. Ano passado Hades foi meu indie favorito do ano, e nesse Returnal já está no pódio. Fantástica a ideia de mesclar vários gêneros em um AAA. A sensação que esse jogo passa é a mesma que Hollow knight.

    So far amazing game, and they make use of adaptive trigger and 3D audio best way !! Never played before rouge like games before but this game will help for the beginners it’s hard as hell but addictive and give you hope I can do it this time!! My skills are awful it take me lot of tries to each boss and learn the moves and beat them!!     It's the Metroid games I always wanted after Super Metroid. Fun, addicting gameplay. And the mystery of Selene has me looking forward to the end of the game. A must own.

    Returnal is a rougelike, sci-fi, third person shooter.

    My review on it: Amazing game all-around. Compelling story, fantastic haptic feedback support, superb 3D audio, stunning particle effects, and remarkable gameplay. Returnal keeps you coming back for more and every little upgrade you find translates into a sense of accomplishment while you are pounding away at all those different types    Returnal is a rougelike, sci-fi, third person shooter.

    O jogo é sensacional! Difícil pra caramba, não é pra qualquer um. Jogabilidade, gráfico, fluidez, vários desafios. A mecânica de não poder salvar da uma lembrança dos jogos antigos.

    Juegazo!! Disfruto como un niño cada run... La historia esta narrada de una manera muy natural y el gunplay es vertiginoso, un gran desafío para los amantes del género. 100% recomendable

    Never thought this game would be for me but this game is amazing everything from music to gameplay and haptic feedback is out of this world. One Of The Most Immersive Games I've Played 10/10

    Excelente game, gráficos extremamente realistas, som impecável e imersivo, principalmente usando o pulse 3D, desafiador e brutal. Sem dúvida, já dá para ter uma ideia do potencial dessa nova geração de consoles. Recomendadíssimo.

    Such a good game. The combat isnt super hard but each death is super punishing but each bit of progress has been rewarding.

    The game is incredible, spent 8 hours with it yesterday and currently in the 2nd biome. The combat, the 3D audio (good god) the use of the DualSense, the particle effects, the narrative, the atmosphere and world-building, the lighting and HDR, the responsiveness of the controls, everything in this game sings. As a blend of different genres it has created something that truly feels freshThe game is incredible, spent 8 hours with it yesterday and currently in the 2nd biome. As a blend of different genres it has created something that truly feels fresh and exciting, I'm a big fan of both Housemarque and roguelites (BoI, Darkest Dungeon, Dead Cells, Slay the Spire, Enter the Gungeon etc) but this really has exceeded my expectations. It feels bold, mystical and dangerous, it's invaded my thoughts and I can't wait for my next session with it.

    Props to SONY for continuing to take risks, give devs freedom and foster new IP every single gen. Just think that we're only half a year into this new generation, imagine what PlayStation 1st party will cook up over the next few years     … Expand

    Ignore the haters reviewing the game ridiculously poorly bringing down the score, this game is legit one of the best, most fun games I have played in recent memory. Yes it is hard but its super fun. As a lover of Time Loop stories the story keeps you engaged and invested as just like you Selene you try and break the cycle

    Great game with immersive atmosphere. The use of the DSense is a definite definition of “next generation” and really sets the mood for the game. This game will test your skills to the limit (in a great way)!

    Quiero empezar diciendo que soy fan de Metroid, me he pasado cada juego de la saga encantado por sus biomas desolados alienígenas, pero Returnal llevo todo ese encanto a un nuevo nivel. Al punto en el que ni siquiera espero Metroid prime 4. Los soulslike son mi género favorito, es importante mencionarlo porque Returnal es una mezcla exquisita de un souls con un juego de disparos. ElQuiero empezar diciendo que soy fan de Metroid, me he pasado cada juego de la saga encantado por sus biomas desolados alienígenas, pero Returnal llevo todo ese encanto a un nuevo nivel. El gameplay es una delicia, la historia es atrapante e intrigante, la atmósfera es sofocante y extraña, el diseño de los enemigos y biomas en general es perfecto. El único pero que le puedo encontrar es que es muy, pero muy difícil, no apto para casuales, pero las batallas de jefes lo recompensan por completo y la sensación de vencer un obstáculo que creías imposible es muy satisfactorio. Simplemente un juego redondo en todos sus aspectos, un rogue like triple A que no te dejará soltar el mando, que por cierto aprovecha todas sus funciones. Super recomendado.… Expand

    One of the best games available on the PS5. The combat, 3D audio, haptics, and story are all phenomenal. The only issue is saving. It makes the run so much rewarding but sucks when I had one crash.

    Obra maestra. Ambientación al más puro estilo Prometheus. El gameplay es brutal. Las inmersión gracias al sonido 3D y el Dual Sense es espectacular. Sin duda un título obligatorio que marcará una nueva tendencia en el mundo de los videojuegos.

    A perfect example of the performance of the PS5 and all its functions. Great gameplay and the music catches and won't let go until you get to the bottom of it all. But in the end, the final may surprise you unpleasantly.
