    Incredible game that got me into the series. I love how the remake added more exploration and puzzle elements than the original and it’s just an all around fantastically entertaining game.

    What a game!, I got flashbacks back in 2006 i was playing the original re4 with my father now as an adult i felt the same feelings that i had in 2006.

    Resident evil 4 era uno de los mejores survival horror de la historia pero con este remake me atrevo a decir que no tienen rival, supo evolucionar muy bien con respecto a sus predecesores, combina a la perfección el terror con la acción.

    I played it on pc and it runs so much better and smoother than PlayStation and the fps always drops on my ps5 this **** sucks!

    I think it's a great remake. Most of the parts that I didn't like in the original were corrected and a unity was provided in the story. The graphics, mechanics and gameplay are perfect. Expecting loyalty to the original is an unnecessary admiration, let's be open to innovations. Let's face it, capcom has done a great remake. I'm excited for the remake of the 5th game.

    As someone who never played or got into the original Resident Evil 4 from 2005, I went into the remake blind and with an open mind. Nothing could have prepared me for the amazing and beautiful offering Capcom had once again delivered. from the gun variety, to the distinct locations and arenas, to unique boss fights.

    Amazing remake! Possibly one of the best games Capcom has ever made. Makes me so happy that good Resident Evil is finally back. Hopefully they do RE5 Remake next, because nobody wants this boring and pointless Code Veronica.

    This is best remake Capcom has done so far, amazing work. RE2R was great, but RE4 has always been better RE game, so obviously RE4R is also automatically better than RE2R. But that's okay of course, both good, but RE4 always the best!

    Just started this game! The story so far is really dumb, Leon came in uninvited with a weapon and superkick the self-defending house owner, then proceed to destroy the farming village afterwards. Is he actually a villain here?

    Hopefully later on it gets better but RE2 was much better!!

But what is hilarious about Metacritic, is to watch these absolute nolifer losers trying to desperately upvote their fake pathetic negative reviews, even tho everyone knows that they already lost lmao.     I just want to make sure that everyone understands that, these who review bomb this game with their 0/10 reviews and nonsensical takes on this game, are not real RE4 fans. They never were and they never will be. Real RE4 fans have been absolutely enjoying this remake and proof is literally on Youtube and Steam. I have been fan of RE4 since 2005 and i absolutely love this remake.

    Great remake. Waiting for Assignment Ada and Separate Ways, but i'm totally fine, if they are not free, because they weren't free on original GameCube version either. They released later on PS2 version.

    Finally finished this game and it is massive improvement over original! It's surprisingly faithful to the original, while modernizing certain areas of the map, massive improvement in graphics and dialogue / voice acting. It's also scarier than original (as expected). Ashley is actually amazing this time, feels like different character.

    Highly recommended!

    So far, second best game of 2023, first place is Final Fantasy XVI. I'm also glad that 90% of the fans seem to agree, that this remake is very good and in most aspects even better than the OG.     It makes me so happy that whenever new RE fans will play RE4, they will ALWAYS play the remake and not the original, simply because Remake is just better version of this game. OG was obviously phenomenal game and one of my favorites for years, but this remake improves it SO MUCH and that is great, because otherwise this remake would be pointless.

    One of the Greatest Remakes of all time, phenomenal masterpiece. 2023 is truly great year for gaming, First Dead Space, then RE4R and then Final Fantasy 16 and if Spider-Man 2 is great as well 2023 is literally one of the best years for gaming ever!

    It's the best Remake I've ever Played.This game and the 2005 Original are both insanly great for their Time. Not just the Story even the Gameplay is Amazing (A few issues with texture plop ins). But Overalls the performance is INSANE ! Ps4 30FPS 1080p ,Ps4 Pro (internal SSD) 2k 30FPS or 60 FPS by 1080p. Ps5 is even better ! I had no Bugs over all and not a Single Game Crash :) ! A GameIt's the best Remake I've ever Played.This game and the 2005 Original are both insanly great for their Time.     It will never be as groundbreaking and influential as the original. But it's about as good of a re-imaging of a classic you could get. It tows the line between being faithful to the original and bringing it's own new ideas that keep things fresh. While the original has it's own charm which will probably never be replicated, the improvements in combat, controls and presentation are enoughIt will never be as groundbreaking and influential as the original.     This is the same game as for the PS2 but improved in every way and having a darker tone makes this even better

    The game is basically exactly you expect it to be. A modernized version of Resident Evil 4, with heavily updated gameplay and amazing visuals.
    But somehow they managed to make the game feel too long. By the time I reached the military island in the final section, I just wished the game would finally end.

    I had skipped RE4 when it originally was released, not sure why. I'm glad they released this remake, it is a fantastic game. Great combat, great story, great graphics, and fantastic audio. Loved the game from start to finish.

Es sorprendente cómo se ha establecido un estándar sumamente alto para las futuras remasterizaciones.

    Desearía comenzar destacando los elementos que disfruté en gran medida:

    Se percibe como un mapa totalmente renovado.
    Se han implementado mejoras significativas para las armas.
    Se ha adaptado de manera efectiva a las expectativas de los juegos actuales, con la inclusión de tesoros, secretos y misiones secundarias.
    Los gráficos exhiben una calidad admirable.
    La mecánica de movimiento ha sido mejorada en una medida considerable.
    Se ha añadido la posibilidad de emplear sigilo.
    El sistema de parrys enriquece la jugabilidad.
    Se ha introducido un nuevo enemigo, conocido como "El Bruto", caracterizado por su cabeza de toro.
    La inclusión de la galería de tiro que otorga amuletos con efectos especiales.
    Una mayor presencia de puzles.
    Se ha incrementado el tiempo con el personaje Luis.
    Se logra crear una atmósfera más aterradora que en el juego original.
    No obstante, también deseo mencionar aspectos que consideré menos satisfactorios:

    En primer lugar, se ha eliminado a un jefe (conocido como "U-3" o "It").
    La precisión de apuntado resulta un tanto peculiar, ya que enfrenté dificultades para apuntar con exactitud.
    En ciertas ocasiones, los hitboxes parecían carecer de presencia, especialmente al disparar a enemigos distantes.
    Los diálogos en algunas instancias no se sincronizan de manera precisa con los movimientos de los personajes.
    La asignación de balas es considerablemente menor en comparación con el juego original.
    A pesar de una mejora gráfica notoria, no logra transmitir plenamente la sensación de "Next Gen".
    Se ha omitido el chiste de Luis referente a "Ballistics".
    La voz de Ada deja algo que desear en comparación con la versión original.
    Ciertas áreas presentan un exceso de oscuridad que afecta la experiencia visual.
    En resumen, he quedado encantado con este remake. Tal como mencioné al inicio de mi reseña, considero que es el mejor remake hasta la fecha. Mi opinión es que otras compañías que aspiren a crear remakes deberían observar atentamente este título. Si bien existen aspectos por mejorar, los aspectos positivos superan ampliamente a los negativos.    … Expand

Resident evil 4 remake est le digne héritier de l'épisode gamecube tous à été amélioré mais certains passages supprimés manque un peu malgrés tout ce remake est un chef d'oeuvre, capcom a fait un super travail et j'adore autant voir plus que l'épisode d'origine.     The story of the game is a mediocre story, the gameplay is very enjoyable and attractive, in terms of visuals, it is equal to Cross Gen 2023 games and has a stunning visual, the main boss fights are very similar to each other. The sound design of the game is wonderful, the enemies have a good variety and only one new type of enemy has been added to the remake compared to the original version.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake not only does right by its original source of inspiration, but it also sets a high bar for what modern day remakes can be. All components of the story have been finetuned into a more well-thought out package, and that’s before mentioning the game’s full use of today’s graphical prowess to deliver a more terrifying interpretation of rural Spain. The core gameplay also retains what made it so great back in the day, but with modern amenities such as a parrying system, quick-select for weapons and the ability to run. And despite the new improvements, the increased aggressiveness of the enemies ensures that the game never feels like a cakewalk. I don’t know who still needs to be convinced at this point, but Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece that I cannot recommend enough.
