  • Summary: Welcome to Pic-A-Block, a brand new puzzle game from TreeFall Studios. Pic-A-Block is a 3D spatial brain teaser game. The goal of the game is to recreate 2D images in 3D by positioning blocks in a manner that matches the picture you are given.

    Each level you are given a set of different colored blocks. You can use 4 different actions to manipulate them. You can delete, push, or freeze blocks. You cannot swap blocks or push them back up to a higher row. Gravity can work with or against you depending on how you tackle each level.

    - 30 unique levels
    - Multiple grid sizes, 5x5, 7x7, and 11x11
    - Re-playability with many different ways to solve each level and high score tracking
    - Unique 2D to 3D levels
    - Easter eggs and references to other TreeFall games

    For a small developer and a small price tag, Pic-A-Block delivers dozens of brain teasing slide-puzzles. It's not deep but it can make you feel occasionally clever. I would've liked a few more options around colour palettes and undoing moves but it's fine and functional. I find the music relaxing and, provided you're playing in short bursts, it's not going to outstay it's welcome.
