Nov 2, 2023In many ways, Overpass 2 is a better game than its predecessor, but at the same time it still leaves some gaps. For example, the AI is completely retarded and sponsor goals are nonsensical, also the graphics are a bit weak. However, the game is full of variety in routes, has a nice career mode and the purchase price is very reasonable. Fan of the original? Then this is an okayish sequel that is at least better.

Oct 20, 2023Overpass 2 definitely got more out of me than its predecessor. The career mode felt more engaging, even if I still prefer to avoid the tougher hill climbs. Driving feels a little loose but the lack of physical feedback made it hard for me to judge grip. The multi-disciplined nature of it does give you plenty of variety but the AI can be terrifying to race against. It's still rough around the edges but I did enjoy some of my time with it.

Oct 17, 2023It’s not a game without merit, but unfortunately while Overpass 2 does improve on its predecessor in multiple ways it’s still ultimately disappointing. Key to any racing game is the actual feel of driving its vehicles, and it’s in this regard that Overpass 2 is lacking. Add in the unconvincing physics and limited modes, and you have a game that might be worth a try at a discounted price, but should otherwise perhaps be avoided.
