Like other contenders for example Story of Seasons the core loop consist of farming and making friends with townspeople. Besides that the game relies on different areas with combat vs. monsters. You farm materials upgrade your stuff, do sidequests that unlock the next area up until the fourth where the game will finally conclude.

After all the game has some good ideas but the execution is among the worst I ve ever played. If I ve been able to refund the game I would ve absolutely done so but as I wasnt able to I tried to get through the game filled with endless wandering between A-B quests, buggy combat and glitched boss enemies that run out of bounce, cannot hit you or just dont do anything.

The character development has some passion into it but besides that I cannot state enough to NOT BUY THE GAME. I played it on PS5 with numerous bugs and glitches, pop-in graphics. It is really a shame. In my opinion the game is so bad that I wouldnt even buy it on a sale because the mechanics are so frustrating it is not worth your time. There are games out there for the same price that are way more polished, e.g. Story of Seasons or Stardew Valley.
