    Horizon Zero Dawn is one of my favorite games ever, and this game turned that feeling up 100 notches. I'm just so happy to be playing this game, feeling that same wonder and excitement I got 5 years ago while playing Zero Dawn. Horizon Forbidden West is my absolute number 1 game right now, and I'm thrilled to be playing even more of it.

    The game is really beautiful, impressive details (photo mode), improved gameplay compared to Zero Dawn, has new enemies and great artificial intelligence, in short, a challenging game.

    Trash, graphics don't make a video game. Years later, and I still cannot find anything this game does well.

    Story, pointless cliché
    Gameplay, boring and repetitive.
    Graphics, pretty great. However nice graphics does not create fun, else you can just go outside where graphics is 10/10

There are two reasons for this, they don’t play the game far enough or they just don’t understand the storyline. Because it’s such a great sequel of the first game, I can’t imagine how to improve this even more. This is probably the very best game in every single aspect you can play right now, a true next-gen experience no one should miss. Guerilla Games did make a fantastic job.     The game is unplayable right now on some 4k displays with performance mode. Also a lot of popping and bugs, it is clearly unfinished at least the PS5 version. Despite this the game is good and would love to enjoy its mechanics once it is finished.

    Another reminder more of "Do not buy games on launch" i cant help with it..

The production level on display is staggering, everything in the world from the NPC's to the leafy undergrowth is meticulously detailed. Great Game Runs great on ps5 and I can't wait for the next installment to be a ps5 exclusive so the developers can fully exploit the full potential of the console without having to worry about accommodating last gen devices. They still did an amazing job at getting such a huge and beautiful game running smoothly on old tech so well done to them. As for the game itself, everything that was great in zero dawn is even better now. Combat, exploration, narration, it all comes together really well and the side quests this time are way more interesting. Sadly Aloy still whispers her lines like she's afraid to be heard and it gets old fast. The rest of the voice cast is for the most part excellent, even for minor characters. All in all a great adventure that I hope more will get to enjoy on ps5 soon.… Expand

Except for one minor platform bug on the release date, which was swiftly addressed the sameWithout a doubt, the best game I've ever played. As a Zero Dawn fan from the beginning, I couldn't wait for this to come out.     Agarraron todos los consejos de la gente y lo implementaron de manera espectacular. Mejoras en el combate, el mundo abierto, las misiones secundarias y sobre todo que se ve visualmente asombroso. El único detalle que le pongo es la escalada en las estructuras que ojalá hubiera un poco más de libertad, pero de ahí en fuera muy bien.

    I don’t get what everyone is saying but 5 hours in and it’s such an amazing game, no bugs or anything of the kind, tons of robots, big open world map, lots of side quest, the game offers so much

    Graphics are amazing even on performance mode it’s amazing

    The game graphic is blurry on PS5, and even Performance mode can rarely help it. Stupid mounting ever as a small obstacle can just block the ride and even makes the unexpected turn. Aloy takes forever to stand up after a hit.     This kind of game happens when a developer takes their time to get things right. The relationships progress naturally and the story continues beautifully. They have improved some of the weapons and fight mechanics, and retained the best of the last game. Bravo!

    The first things I notice when I played Forbidden West for the first time was how amazing the game looks, it have improved leaps and bounds compare to Zero Dawn, they had improved the facial animation in the game, and the character have more life as they improved the voice acting in this game as well.

    The new design of the UI and Inventory system is definitely better than the first game, and the new skill tree in the game is much more in depth as they offer a lot more variety of perks depending on your playstyle. Stealth is much more viable in this game due to the skill tree and the new equipments that are available in the game which is a surprising welcome.

    As much as I love this game, it's definitely not a perfect game and there's some flaws in the gameplay that I would like to point out. Climbing on a terrain in the game is super janky which was one of the complain I had with the previous game too same goes when Aloy is trying to jump. Trying to play the game in 60 FPS may cause some minor flickering especially when you're in a battle.

    The story in this game could have done more as I was expecting more given that we waited for 5 years for a sequel. The story have a slow start, especially the first five hours of the game but I'm glad that it start picking up. Without spoiling anything, I wish they could had cover more on certain characters and tribes. Overall I do enjoy the game and the story and it's worth the time I spend on the game.    … Expand

As for the world, it's vivid and full of character. Horizon is the perfect game for the lovers of open world exploration as well as story enthusiasts.     This game is amazing, a worthy sequel, and the graphics running on the PS5 is gorgeous. Story is great so far (18 hrs) and gameplay is enjoyable.

    Are all markedly improved in Forbidden West and the game is quickly becoming one of my favourite open world games of the last 5 years.

    Horizon forbidden west to gra praktycznie pod każdym względem lepsza od poprzedniczki,która już zasługiwała na ocena 10. Na plus historia,grafika,postacie,walka,świat.
    Na minus przekombinowane drzewko umiejętności z bezsensownymi perłami,których i tak nie można wszystkich naraz używać,więc się ich nie używa oraz nadal dominowanie maszyn jest tylko fajną ciekawostka a nie czymś dzięki czemu    Horizon forbidden west to gra praktycznie pod każdym względem lepsza od poprzedniczki,która już zasługiwała na ocena 10.     At initial launch the game is definitely buggy, but I haven’t experienced anything atrocious. Aside from that the world is beautiful, the combat is awesome with tons of variety, the story is much improved and expanded on compared to the first game, the under water traversal is great, and Sony’s first party studio Guerrilla Games knocked it our of the park with this one!

    The more I play Horizon Forbidden West the more I’m baffled by the 9’s & 10’s it was given. It’s 7, maybe an 8. The character movement, especially when jumping feels incredibly dated & clunky. Compare the way Aloy jumps to Tomb Raider on PS1 & Uncharted, tell me the movement isn’t Closer to that of Lara Croft. I enjoy the towers & tallnecks but where is the consistency in reviewing games? The combat is a frustration more than anything. Dodging is pointless against some machines so it seems you have no defence. When you get them into status effects it doesn’t really seem to have much impact on them so swapping ammo doesn’t really mean much. Having to constantly stop and craft new ammo is as monotonous as it gets. I’m fast travelling at every possible opportunity because going from point A to point B isn’t enjoyable. Compare that to Dying Light 2 which I’ve just finished and running all over the place was fun & rewarding. If Ubisoft released this game the media would have given it 7.5 I can guarantee you that.… Expand

    Absolutely incredible game, so much to see and do still even after 25 hours into the game. Another PlayStation studio flexing there talent. Story is great but it’s the world they have build that really stands out. A must buy.

    This game met Most of my expectations. Exceeded others and over all was a very good game. I played it almost nonstop every chance I got and finally finished it last night. I only had a single bug where frame rate dropped due to memory leak towards end but easy fix.

    the characters are lifeless, apparently there are no resources for this - it’s good to write a character! Grind! Constant "exclamation marks" in the menu, as you pick something up, the sign is right there, even if it's a repeated game kapets !!!     Great game. So much to do and the side quest DO matter. Everything ties to the main quest. New machines that have a familiar feeling. Updates to the combat and traversal is a plus. Many options on how you want to play. You. Can go as fast or as slow as you like. Must play, game if the year contender in a big way. The graphics alone leave you smiling.

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
