    Aloy never ceases to amaze me. When I was hoping more of the same game back in 2016, I was caught by surprise by this masterpiece. Sorry guys, we all know where we gonna be spending our weekend, into the forbidden west!

    Extremely disappointed by the story. Aloy's character also doesn't resonate with me she didn't in the first game and this one just makes me like her even less. The open world is not as open as other games and the traversal/climbing mechanics is almost exactly the same as the first. When IGN and major outlets touted it as BETTER than BotW and Assassin's Creed I was expecting it to at leastExtremely disappointed by the story.     Picking up straight after Zero Dawn, the game feels familiar and all cool the moves you learned the first time are already here as carry throughs. It feel like a proper continuation and the graphics in 4K on a PS5 are beautiful and detailed, even down to the conversations and the skin tone and movement of people talking. The game is blowing me away and feels natural getting back into it.Picking up straight after Zero Dawn, the game feels familiar and all cool the moves you learned the first time are already here as carry throughs.     Como nos has vuelto engañar. Es igual de aburrido que el uno pero encima se controla peor. Todo los movimientos son como acelerados y las físicas un auténtico desastre. Los gráficos mucho brillo y mucha resolución pero lo de la niebla es intentar tomar el pelo a la gente.

    Please do not listen to these people that are giving the game a 0 or a 1. Even if you felt the game was flawed, it doesn’t deserve anywhere near a 0. Excellent game, another gem from Sony. I wish Microsoft Fanboys would instead use their energy to bash Xbox and ask where the games are. Lmao. So glad I didn’t waste my money on that garbage black tower paper weight lol.

    I'm not a fan of the first Horizon game. I played and it was kinda boring for me, but the graphics and robots were amazing though.

    But this new part is amazing. I'm enjoying it and it's an enormous amount of improvements were made. It's interesting to discover this world and gameplay is much more dynamic this time.

    Horizon Forbidden Wst is a great sequel to the grand Horizon Zero Dawn, but in need of a big Patch.

    Sound or Subtitles that do not properly load, enemies or other assets, like bridges etc. do spawn in to late and the ocasional crash, but must frustrating is the framedrops to the single digits even in the "more FPS" mode.     Horizon Forbidden West is a fantastic open world experience. Guerilla Games put a lot of work into improving and enhancing many aspects of the first game. Amazing graphics, great combat and so far a lot of interesting main and side quests.

    I am absolutely blown away so far! I’ve only played four hours but I’m speechless. It’s everything I’ve wanted this game to be. The review bombs are kind of sad and I haven’t experienced any of the glitches people are talking about. Definitely GOTY candidate!

    El juego es es una obra de arte, la historia es muy buena, algunas partes vi unas texturas súper puestas pero solo unas 5 o 8 y el combate aveces es muy desafiante.

    Pour la musique rien à redire c'est super. C'est envoutant, c'est très bien composé et donne à certains moment un gros plus dans l'ambiance d'une scène. De même pour les sons d'ambiances qui sont très bien fait. Félicitations aux sound designer.
    La dualsense je suis pas fan de toutes ces options alors j'aurai un avis neutre.
    Pour le scénario je peux pas vraiment donner de bon point et c'est là que commence mes point négatifs sur le jeu. Le scénario est bien en deçà du premier. Les premières heures sont très longues et on se demande quand va vraiment débuter l'histoire. Aloy n'a plus du tout le même caractère, elle qui était empathique, elle est devenu antipathique sans explication et la plus grosse incompréhension c'est qu'après plusieurs heures d'histoire, hop elle redevient empathique sans raison. C'est récurant sur plusieurs moment où on a des incohérences scénaristiques comme (sans spoiler) après 4h de jeu environ il y a une scène qui est complétement balayé au 3/4 de l'histoire comme si elle n'avait jamais existé en disant l'absolue contraire de ce qui avait été dit. L'histoire en elle même n'est pas vraiment intéressante et certainement dépassé par la très bonne histoire du premier volet ne sachant pas comment amener l'histoire de ce volet-ci. Les scènes émouvantes sont placées aux forceps. Pour les dialogues la moitié sert à rien avec des cut scene récurrentes ce qui devient énervant.
    Il y a des bugs de collision qui sont vraiment énervant, comme lorsqu'un ennemi se bloque dans un tronc et qui a pour effet qu'il devient invincible ou un dino à ses pattes qui traverse la texture d'un petit pont/passerelle et reste bloquer à courir dans le "vide".
    Le gameplay est un peu redondant, même si il y a eu des effort, malheureusement après plusieurs heures on a l'impression de faire toujours les mêmes combats. En corps à corps par exemple suffit juste de faire des pirouette très souvent pour prendre quasi aucun dégâts et d'enchainer de suite avec un coup. A distance suffit juste d'utiliser la capacité ralentit et même le grappin permet de rendre les combats bien plus simple, je trouve que c'est un peu trop facile.
    D'ailleurs une autre chose sur le gameplay c'est les aides qui sont un peu présente partout comme par exemple, le ralenti, la vision, les cibles, les marques jaunes pour te dire que tu peux grimper. Grimpe d'ailleurs très limité car en fin de compte tu peux pas grimper partout. On peut grimper une falaise mais 2 mètres plus loin on peut pas. On peut grimper un rocher lisse mais pas un mur en pierre. Obligé d'utiliser la vision qui permet de voir où on peut grimper ce qui est énervant car il faut l'utiliser souvent. Et ça mène à un autre problème, le fait que plein de zones ne sont pas accessible. Le jeu n'est pas un vrai monde ouvert et créer une certaine frustration. De même le craft est pas du tout intéressant.
    Concernant la technique c'est plutôt propre même si les cheveux qui traverse l'armure ou l'arc quand il est sur le dos, la heatbox qui est pas très précise, des décors qui disparaissent comme par magie lorsqu'ils sont détruit. Le mode performance n'est pas au point avec de l'aliasing et du motion blur bien trop visible. Le mode qualité a quelque baisses de frame.
    L'IA est un peu limité. Les dino te voient pas quand tu es accroupi même à quelques centimètres de leur profil. Les humains à 5 mètres, ils te voient pas. Parce que je suis accroupi. Etre accroupi c'est limite magique.
    C'est un TPS narratif et donc quand le scénar n'est pas au niveau ce genre de jeu, je me dois d'être critique sur ce point.
    Ok le jeu est beau, le séquence de gaming sont plaisantes même si quelques défauts, il y a un vrai plaisir comme la paravoile, mais à coté de ça le scénar a des incohérences, histoire pas prenante, difficulté pas vraiment là, limité dans la liberté de choix et de scaling, techniquement parfois des faiblesses et certains éléments de gamedsign comme l'escalade sont pas bonne.

Even tho i never care for either rating system (critics or users) because at times both can be completely biased or simply wrong. But 88 isn't that high anyway, just saying.     I finished the game about 5 hours ago and now i have been free roaming around the map for 3 hours and there's hardly anything cool or fun to do. Yes there are robots, but that gets old fast. By the way story is extremely cheesy, like very very cheesy. Last 20 minutes and final boss fight were absolute cringe. I actually regret buying it and i rarely regret buying games, because i always watch videos before and everyone was hyping it up like "this is gta 5 level game design, this RDR2 level game design", so i was actually expecting that and it's not even close.

    Some people are really trying to hate AC Valhalla, like it's some bad game (it's not, it's just not amazing, it's decent), but i would rather play Valhalla right now (even tho i'm tired of Valhalla) than keep roaming around in this game, because it's so boring and story was weak, let's be real here, it was weak writing, very weak even. So my question would be, is this game hyped up because main character is female? Because i'm almost certain, if main character was some dude, this game would get Metascore 77 at best. If that's the case and only thing that changes rating from 6 to 10 is main character's gender, then that's just pathetic.

    Only thing that should matter is the game itself, not main character's gender. I'm disappointed, maybe it's my own fault that i listened some of these Youtube videos that were praising it as best PS5 game. Next time i wont watch these channels anymore.

    All in all, seeing how empty and boring this game is, it's even more sad that Days Gone, that is one of the best open world zombie games of all time and actually had interesting world, didn't get a sequel, instead of this. Thanks for reading.    … Expand

    Horizon forbidden west proves why PlayStation studios games a a step above the rest of the competition when it comes to AAA gaming experiences, this game is an absolute must play that despite being cross gen it doesn't make any compromises on it's game design on it's game

    Expands and improves upon everything Horizon Zero Dawn has built. The characters are livelier, the world is more interesting and alive, and the graphics are one of the best I’ve ever seen in gaming.

    Such a beautiful and fun game. Story is put together well and side missions bring life to the game. In resolution mode I did experience frame rate drops that caused serious gameplay issues. Performance mode is possibly one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had. Aloy is such a joy to take control of and is an amazing character.

    To many bots giving this game zero. Game has built up and outwards on everything from Zero dawn. Dozens of side activities, quests. The story is amazing and deepens the world of Horizon. If you liked the first you'll love this.

    I found that the progression system has been nicely improved. I played zero dawn on hard from start to finish and was impressed. However, so far, this sequel is proving to be an ever greater, more sophisticated challenge on hard. I love it.

    Would give it a 9/10 but due to review bombing occurring I’m trying to balance the scales a little.

    Yes this has SJW stuff to the max, but if you played the first one you should already know that’s gonna be present. Putting that aside, the game plays and feels and looks fantastic, def could do with out some of the social commentary that force onto in these games nowadays, but to say the game isn’t fun to play would be an outright lie.

    A beautiful game with a great world. Side content is Witcher 3 Wild Hunt level good. Unfortunately returning from the 1st game, is a traversal system that makes the game overwhelmingly frustrating at times, ruining the experience.

    So much improvement over the first game! The world is breathtaking, and the character development and interaction seems much more genuine and less cheesy this time around. The combat feels great as well. My only wish is for some work to be done on the performance mode…I’d love to play this game in 60fps if the resolution didn’t take quite as big of a hit.

    The graphics are the best I have ever seen, the world is full of things to do which is a good thing, the main story is not the best but its still interesting, the thing that dont like is the combat. Its just not interesting to always be trying to hit the weak points, for me is boring. But at the same time is a fantastic game.

Muito capricho na direção de arte, na customização da personagem e de seus itens, com um montante imenso de coisas pra se fazer sem sequer se preocupar com a quest principal. Adorei as partes embaixo d'água, boa adição ao mundo da superfície.     Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
