    Ive been playing this game sense the first minutes of launch and it's so dam good! The story is gripping and is a perfect fit from the the original. The graphics are stunning, I've been playing in resolution mode and I gotta say it's the best game I've ever seen visually. Sure I won't lie I'm a bit bias torwards the game sense HZD is one of my favorite games of all time but even so thisIve been playing this game sense the first minutes of launch and it's so dam good!     Game just improved on the first one in almost everyway. Graphics are crisp, gameplay is solid and the story is most of the time decent. Oh and the soundtrack is unreal!

    Horizon forbiden west é um jogo que com coisas simples te encanta, te proporcionando durante a narrativa principal( joguei umas 23h,n zerei) sensações marcantes. O sistema de evolução é complexo inicialmente mas é questão de costume. O melhor do jogo são os combates contra as máquinas.Nota 10/10

    This game is incredible, i haven't stopped playing it since launch. I spent about 6 hours alone in the introduction area, I always got distracted with things to do. All the side quests are worthwhile and the activities are all fun. You can solve a tomb raider style ruin puzzle, or fight tough enemies and train in a melee fighting pit. They also turn an overused trope in the open worldThis game is incredible, i haven't stopped playing it since launch. They also turn an overused trope in the open world genre into a fun side activity, you have to solve parcour puzzles to climb tallnecks which reveals the map for you. The story, while not being incredible like other sony games, is always ingaging and will keep you excited for what's gonna come next. The world is incredibly beautiful and very dense, I could spend hours exploring it alone. This is the best looking game i have ever played!
    My favorite part though is the combat. The combat is so complex, yet easy to get a hold of. There are tons of different weapons with different elemental effects and quirks. The machine design is phenomenal. Every maching has a few different ways of effectively taking it out, weakspots, and even some machines have weapons you can shoot off to use yourself. There are a vast variety of traps you can take your enemies out with. The melee combat is incredible too, there are many combos and abilities to master.    … Expand

    Every mechanic from the first game is refined. Exploration is so great, the movement easy and fluid. It’s legitimately some of the best platforming and running I’ve experienced in a game. Aloy is amazing, her personality and look flushed out. Legitimately loving this game (about 10hr in)

    Horizon Forbidden West creo que será recordado como el juego que consiguió subir un escalón más en el avance técnico de un videojuego. En lo visual, el juego es excelente: paleta de colores, reflejos (no tiene rtx, son manuales), texturas, ambientación, variedad de biomas, caras de los personajes (TODOS, principales y secundarios son grabados por actores), etc.
    Quizás el hecho de que sea    Horizon Forbidden West creo que será recordado como el juego que consiguió subir un escalón más en el avance técnico de un videojuego. En lo visual, el juego es excelente: paleta de colores, reflejos (no tiene rtx, son manuales), texturas, ambientación, variedad de biomas, caras de los personajes (TODOS, principales y secundarios son grabados por actores), etc.
    Quizás el hecho de que sea tan potente visualmente desmerezca un poco todo lo demás: historia, peleas y plataformeo, sobretodo, que no es que esté mal, de hecho está bien, pero sin duda no a la altura de lo comentado anteriormente.
    Lo que si que destacaría para mal sería el sistema de loot y personalización de Aloy, que creo que no está bien llevado porqué se siente caótico, así como los árboles de habilidades. Me gustaría quizás más complejidad y concreción, ya que la verosimilitud muere en el momento en el que te puedes equipar tantas armas y al final sí, tienes muchos recursos y armas, pero me saca un poco del juego.

    Como conclusión, creo que sin duda es de los lanzamientos más importantes del año para PS y cumple con creces, pero tampoco es una obra maestra y no pasará a la historia por nada más allá de lo visual. Un juego muy notable, de ahí el 8.    … Expand

    I am so tired of those review bombings of well made games! This whole culture is fcked.
    I would give this game a 9/10, since there are some things that would need improvement like the close combat and less clutter in inventory.

    The story is great and engaging. The side quests are polished, but not on the same level like in Ghost of Tsushima for example.

    Definitely a must-buy game for the PS5.

    I've been in love with this game since release. I really needed something to keep me invested, as nothing but mediocrity has come out since the release of the PS5, with a select few of great titles. I can't seem to put the game down. Attention to detail is incredible. I've really enjoyed my experience with Forbidden West and will continue to.

    I've not yet finished the game, so this is very much thoughts on the early stages (I've just entered no man's land). The game play seems to have been tightened up from the original, and the graphics are fantastic despite a couple of minor glitches here and there.

Same generic 3rd person game with rpg elements with a semi good story it’s like beating a dead horse or milking a 90 yr old cow the only people that actually consume these games are the loyalist that don’t see nothing wrong with spending 70 dollers for a bugged out mess that other wise no one would want that is also only like 20 hours of gameplay the game is boring,there’s a lot of game breaking bugs, and the game just runs so bad on both ps5 and ps4 you'd have to play on performance mode on both to get a semi enjoyable experience now this game isn’t by far bad at all it’s just generic and with bugs that’s why I don’t see myself playing it again sorry 7/10… Expand

    Nothing but improvement over the previous entry. Combat is more satisfying, skill trees are more robust and allow different play styles, shieldwing is a game changer. Animations are resolved now, side quests are more fun and rewarding. I recommend it!

    Just the sequel we needed. Beautiful game with a very nice battle system. The exploration is on another level and the NPCs are the most detailed ive ever seen. Pulls the whole game together for a perfect score. I still dont love the climbing system though. So theres one con.

    ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and really fun to play. This is an evolution to what the first one was. The most well crafted characters including NPCs I've ever seen in a game. The realism is there. The world is artistically GORGEOUS in every aspect. Clothes, arquitecture, machine design... incredibly fun to play and GREAT replayability. I'll probably stay in the Forbidden West for hundreds of hours.

    Очень жаль что кто то начал масштабную компанию по очернении игры. То что сейчас происходит просто отвратительно.    Это просто потрясающе как в этой игре создан открытый мир. От такого просто невозможно устать! Механики доработаны, сюжет интригует,квесты вообще стали бесподобными. Технически игра просто невероятная.
    Очень жаль что кто то начал масштабную компанию по очернении игры. То что сейчас происходит просто отвратительно.

    Good graphics are important to me. HFW has a very low checkerboard resolution in performance mode or Its poorly implemeted. Also there doesnt seem to by any anti-aliasing. It leads to an blurry picture in performance mode.

    Also HDR settings are strange. In zero/middle setting Its 5000 nits. I have to turn down to -8 for 700 nits.     The only complaint i have with the game is the movement is very arkward. I was shocked at the detail & expressions on NPC faces, ive never seen anything like it, at times faces look real, the story has a way of engaging you with its twists just when you start to get tired of playing, you are excited to see the outcome. I really didnt like Horizon zero dawn much it was an OK game to me but this,this Forbidden West is one of the best games i havent even completed yet    … Expand

    Absolutely amazing video game. Graphics, gameplay for disabled gamers in terms of accessibility settings, is simply out of this world, for those with disabilities concern. Can easily be adjusted to tailor the needs of disables gamer. Worth its wait in gold, everything about this game simply surpasses a game befitting such a fine title. Top marks and then some.

    The first game was a masterpiece; I experienced it and its story completely blind, and I was shocked how full the game was of lore, story and lovable characters. Forbidden west took everything Zero dawn did and did it better. The supporting cast of characters, story, side missions! I loved it, I absolutely loved it. This is game, that I just cannot stop thinking about. Thank you, Guerrilla.

    Let's get this out of the way...the game is simply gorgeous! But we all know that's not what truly counts when playing the game. My main issue has always been the story and this time around it's far worse than its previous counterpart. Also, the amount of bugs from a AAA is worth noting.     The combat is great for sure! But I just feel like there weren't any vast improvements and it turned me off. After playing this for 15 hours + now since launch, I simply can't finish it. The slow story is always a put of to me and honestly, it's not that interesting or not as expansive as Zero Dawns. I feel it lacking on a grand scale. However, with that said, the open world and beauty of it are truly NextGen. For that reason, I give it a 7 as I can see how this game can be grand for some people but people who like more of linear gameplay will not or will find this game really hard to enjoy.    … Expand

    It has evolved orthodoxly and is very wonderful. The dissatisfaction element of the previous work is completely dispelled. The video is very nice and I don't care about the loading time. Definitely a great game.

    Imagine not playing the game and giving it a 0. Sony games have basically become Marvel movies to consumers. And now it's either you love it or hate it. This game is a technical fun masterpiece. Another great example as to way you should have a playstation if you care about having amazing experiences in games.

As for the critics saying gamers are being unreasonable for thinking Aloy is unattractive and hitting the “she’s realistic” drum until it snaps…have you played the game? There is nothing realistic about it. Games are for escapism. It isn’t just ok that our characters excel where we do not, including in attractiveness, they should. I was hoping there would be some variety in this game. Truthfully it is just hitting the same robots from the first game over and over and over again. And as they did in the first, this game reuses trash mobs as bosses…a lot. It doesn’t deserve the ratings it is getting. Sadly, there isn’t much good out. Elden Ring will hopefully inject the market with some truly talented game design.… Expand

    I’m amazed how beautiful is this game and how well written every quest in this story (not just the main one!). It is absolutely the best game I played since Witcher 3!

    Outstanding masterpiece. I have not seen any glitches. Its a total work of passion and love from the devs, and more importantly, translated to me the gamer. 10/10

    Major improvement over Zero Dawn. Combat is more satisfying, skill trees are more robust and allow different play styles, shieldwing is a game changer. Animations are resolved now, side quests are more fun and rewarding. 10/10!

    No le doy un 10 porque todo es mejorable pero este juego está casi rozando la perfección, increíbles gráficos, escenarios, los personajes son increíbles, estoy jugando y es que es divertido como el 1 incluso más, las máquinas son una locura y el combate es lo más divertido que he jugado mejorando el del 1 que molaba mazo y la historia pinta muy bien aunque aún no me lo he pasado.

    Nothing beats the quality of PlayStation games, don’t listen to the Xbox fanboys & the neckbeards reviews bombing the game. I love the vegetation quality, it’s way more dense compared to HZD, better facial graphics too, they no longer look like clay models, the gameplay is awesome too with a new gliding and grappling mechanic that makes exploring and tackling quests much easier and varied.Nothing beats the quality of PlayStation games, don’t listen to the Xbox fanboys & the neckbeards reviews bombing the game.     Incredible from start to finish. Plenty to do and the graphics are by far the best so far for next gen games. I have not experienced any of the glitches or issues other people have.

It’s an improvement over the first game in EVERY way. Fighting humans is a lot more fun now (was the most boring part of the first one).     As mecânicas estão melhores em relação ao jogo anterior, história está mais emocionante e os gráficos estão simplesmente lindo. A água e a vegetação está ANIMAL! Amei os novos inimigos, principalmente aquela cobra gigante. Guerrilha fazendo jus há perfeição!

    I can't believe this is a cross-gen game. I can't wait to see what the team at Guerrilla can do in the future with this franchise. Especially as a full next game game.    Love the game.     Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
