I really wanted to like this game. The visuals are lovely and I bought it with the intent of playing it while enjoying some edibles.I really wanted to like this game. The visuals are lovely and I bought it with the intent of playing it while enjoying some edibles. Unfortunately, the dream-ending mechanic (in which you black out and get sent back to your last checkpoint if you run too long) breaks the immersion and ruins the experience. I get that the developers want us to slow down and enjoy the scenery, but strong-arming us into pushing the joystick gently is not how you facilitate wonder and exploration. Add onto that some clunky and unresponsive menus and unfortunately this game is just disappointing. I'll give it another shot if they ever patch it to make the dream-end mechanic optional (or just remove it altogether), but unless that happens this game is too frustrating to be peaceful. Expand
