Similar bugs hinder any progress beyond first few hours in GTA Vice City and GTA 3. On top of that there are numerous graphical glitches, weird glitchy textures replacing characters' skins, a huge weird T-shaped texture appearing in the middle of Grove Street and never going away etc... The new remodeled characters have been improved only for main characters and drastically worsened for NPCS and all other side characters. They look worse than the results of "my first 3D model" tutorial for 6-year olds. It's a true achievement to be able to introduce this many new and innovative bugs and glitches into 20 year old games. I hope the developers are really proud of themselves for selling this for 60$.… Expand

I feel ripped off. I swear grove street games just used the mobile versions of these old games and made better.     Disappointed that such a well established company did not bother to QA and had released the game in this state. Completed 50% of Vice City in the first weekend, and now I cannot load the game as it just crashes to the PS5 dashboard. Therefore, unplayable at launch. Should have patched before launch and not months down the line. Lack of professionalism.

    Acho que 2 é uma nota justa para o trabalho porco que fizeram com essa obra prima. A história é excelente, te prende e tem grandes reviravoltas sobre o decorrer do enredo, porém o que mais me chateia é simplesmente terem colocado, apenas uma nova engine. Não vale os R$320,00 BRL.

    Biggest gaming disappointment. There is no authentic atmosphere. Feeling that you are in a cartoon. Everything is terrible, and it's a shame that ordinary users made mods much better. This is not my game. The originals do not deserve such a shameful continuation.

    This remaster makes the beloved trilogy very playable on modern consoles, but it's plagued with technical difficulties and bugs which is a shame. I'm enjoying the games a lot because of the nostalgia, but for a 2021 remaster it's kind of unforgiving that this is what we got, especially for 60 € pricetag.

    It’s all I really wanted. The earlier 3 were almost unplayable. To me, they didn’t age well. All I really wanted was updated controls. I also got a nice bump in resolution, and 60fps. There’s a nice fresh coat of paint, too. So model screw ups here and there, but I’m still appreciative. $20 absolutely worth it considering the originals still for $10…emulated

    I bought this trash game Nov 11, 2021 for $63.59 on pc. GTA Trilogy D.E is CARBAGE. Don't waste your time nor money. Btw I was refunded by Xsolla Inc. Rockstar dragged their feet on refunding me. I had to watch a youtube video on how to get a refund.

Why Grove Street Games worked so poorly on character models, specially in San Andreas? It's a big shame, better bring Dan Houser back and fire who took his place.

    If you can recreate the weapon selection and add physics too the water they should be able too swim in VC and 3 also the jetpack doesn`t work well in SA and the price is ridiculous and people that already owned the older ones should get a massive discount. Paying for the same game twice is Dumb AF. Also the trees glitch on san andreas in far view distance.     Worst remaster i ever saw: many technical issues, fps drops, outdated shooting and driving mechanics, no remastered sound, it's just a few problems. Full price for such a peace of code is absolutely not acceptable, especially for Rockstar. If they value their reputation it must delete this from all stores and re released trilogy sometime in the future.
    Now it's just a slap on fans face.

    It is understood that one should have a low expectation when it comes to very old remastered games. But at the price it was listed, may players assumed that a lot of work was put in these. I play next gen and retro consoles, but honestly, i kinda like the original better as the bugs and graphic glitches makes the game almost unplayable.

The AI upscaling did a piss poor job and it seems no human has looked over those results leading to many spelling mistakes. The textures lack detail. They look far too plain. Same goes for the character models. The fingernails look painted on. It's just so bad.

They just took the legacy textures, slapped it into unreal engine to enhance there look, imported the textures out and called it finished product.     To say that I am disappointed is to say nothing. Once again I was convinced that Rockstar is not the same, since they give their great games to just anyone.
    1) Bad optimization
    2) Horrible character models
    3) Bugs
    4) Unreasonably high price
    5) Intimidation and lawsuits against moderators
    All this makes you give a bad rating to your game.

    Absolute disgrace. The remaster is not a remaster at all. It seems they just released the games on new platforms without any upgrades.. an extremely buggy version for full price.

This was only the beginning of the end and people are delusional at this point to even expect GTA6 to be anywhere closed to the quality we used to have.     Ich habe mich wirklich riesig auf den Release der Trilogy Edition gefreut. Damals bin ich förmlich in den Spielwelten versunken. Dieses oldschool Feeling wollte ich erneut in aktueller, schöner Grafik erleben. Grafisch finde ich die Edition wirklich gelungen. Wettereffekte wie der leichte Nebel, oder der Sandsturm in San Andreas fehlen jedoch schon.     Es liefert eine Performance, als würde man auf einem Taschenrechner zocken. :-(

    única coisa que se salva nesse gta trilogy são os gráficos, mesmo tendo uns problemas bem merda também eles são a melhor (ou a única) coisa boa desse remaster/remake. rockstar retirou os jogos da sua loja no pc também, assim fazendo com que NINGUÉM possa jogar    jogo extremamente bugado, modelos 3d de personagens toscos demais, sons e animações originais do gta antigo, sem nenhuma melhora.

    In my 100 hours so far I have seen maybe 1 or 2 bugs. The games received huge graphical improvments while maintaining the style of the classics. The game runs flawlessly on my console. The hate is totally undeserved and is from people who simply had unrealistic expectations. If you havent played it yet then I totally recommend getting it.     Hello, I really like this version.
    A lot of people complain that there are bugs and others but I am on PC and I do not encounter a bug per se.. The game is good, the graphics could be better but this is enough for my taste except the rain but we see that work was still done and I find it a pity all this bad image circulating on his games

    + lights and some visuals - controls (ie. locked mouse y-axis) - character speed too fast (feels like on mobile phone) - cycling speed (seems like your bike has 40 horse power now) - character models (wtf???) - bugs (rotating pillars, heavy rain visibility, etc.) - audio controls (gun sfx too loud)    Horrible port of a mobile game. You can really feel it. Not worth the high price.

    Off the bat I knew this was a remaster and not a remake, I knew not to think we would be getting a Mafia: Definitive Edition looking game. However, this remaster is one of the laziest I've ever seen. I'll start with what I like about the games. The lighting looks great, the main protagonists look decent, the weapon wheel is a good addition and it is a crisp looking production. There areOff the bat I knew this was a remaster and not a remake, I knew not to think we would be getting a Mafia: Definitive Edition looking game. However, this remaster is one of the laziest I've ever seen. I'll start with what I like about the games. The lighting looks great, the main protagonists look decent, the weapon wheel is a good addition and it is a crisp looking production. There are far too many issues though for me to enjoy this game, the framerate on PS5 is absolutely shocking for a game this old, the character models for most outside of the protagonists look absolutely terrible, the apparent AI they used to upscale signage didn't work well and there a multitude of spelling mistakes, the draw distance takes any immersion that existed in the original games is gone, "classic" GTA songs are gone, the new aiming system (while looking good on the outside) seems to be based on the old code so seems not quite right.

    There are other issues with the game but to be honest all I can say is don't pay the full price for this, it is not worth it and its a completely unfinished game. I still have the ones that were ported to ps3/ps4 and despite them having no upgrades they still play much better in my opinion. I really hope Rockstar take this off Grove Street Games and fix it as soon as possible. Will they? I'm not sure the will.    … Expand

    I see Rockstar took a page out of China's book and found their own 50 cent army to write a page of 10 star reviews. Your game is **** you should feel bad and sadly so does everyone that paid £60 for it, its barely bearable even if you crack it for free.
