    How do you manage to copy and paste a 19 year old game and somehow make it worst? This is not even including the bugs, crashes and glitches that were not present in the original releases. Rockstar even removed the original versions from the store. Plus, Rockstar loves going after modders that try to improve the game. Shame on you rockstar.

    I have waited 72 hours to play this just to find out that the Rockstar Launcher had gone in maintenance.

    Then another 72 hours to wait for the game to come back on PC.

    PC messed up launch, the rest the game is pretty good for PC, except the bugs.....

    Remastered pessima, piena di bug e polishing assolutamente insufficiente, sconsigliato a chiunque nostangici o meno, tanto più che venduto a 60euro in queste condizioni e ridicolo. Rockstar sei caduta in basso con questo.

    Created an account just to review this game. Bought on launch day.. 2 hours into gta3 DE I could immediately tell there was problems. Clipping through the ground, through bridges. Significant frame rate drops, and constant crashing. Not to mention all the quirky bugs like floating cars. It's impossible to complete challenges as it keeps crashing.     For sure it's not what we expected. The vegetation is beautiful, the rain it's ok but it is too exaggerated and it's buggy, the fov is removed and that it's sad and awful.. if there was a little fog so that only the city you were in could be seen, it was perfect.. but without the fov the game it's strange for me. The character models is pretty sad and disappointing.. for example look atFor sure it's not what we expected.     Trash remastered many of glithes many of bugs i can't play normaly 60 dollars for a pace of **** from rockstar thank you really rockstar for this garbage game i can't really get the platnium trophy in san andreas becuse the stupied bug in san fierro race the game crash when i start the race i am really disappointed from this remastered

    I would really love to give these remasters a better score but with 3 out of 10 I'm already pretty generous. You'll get 'better graphics', which mostly consist of weird glitches when it rains or character models that look like they're straight out of Madame Tussauds. On top of that, there are gameplay 'changes', which are limited to a weapon and radio wheel, everything else is nothing toI would really love to give these remasters a better score but with 3 out of 10 I'm already pretty generous. Of course there are mission checkpoints now, but that's the least you can expect from a so called remaster. All of these 'improvements' and 'changes' are so impressive that even the PS5 or any other system for that matter can't handle them properly. The games are so demanding in fact that the framerate constantly struggles to reach its goal of 60 fps depending upon which settings you are using. If you bought the trilogy for 60 bucks like I did, expecting a Rockstar games quality game, you weren't just fooled, back stabbed and bamboozled, you were quite frankly ribbed off. And if you haven't bought it yet, just don't. These remasters are just lazy ports of mobile versions of the most beloved and influential games of the early 2000s, heck, probably ever.     The colours in the remasters are disgustingly over-saturated. In many situations, the colours look smudgy, like they're bleeding into everything. Why are the characters in VC orange??? Why are characters in SA so much darker than in the original game??? Why is the contrast so harsh and why does it make things way too dark in many situations???     I've been playing on PC, not so glitchy but still sometimes unplayable. Some missions are near to impossible and the character design. This whole game is just an scam.

    The fact they are shuting down mods that fix the game just goes to show they don´t care about the games that put them on the map. Just a cashgrab, can´t even get a refund. They are breaking the consumer protection laws on multiple countrys

    For rockstar games near perfect reputation from red dead redemption to The gta series this comes as a shock that a studio with this level of resources and skill make a half-assed cash grap on your childhood experiences which is downright criminal.Theonly positive is The modernisation of the controls and vice city looks good at night.

    Dreams and hopes were crushed. First from the launcher, then the games. I thought Rockstar was all about quality and that's why we fans patiently wait for their releases however long they may take. But then we get this and we feel like fools!

    The remaster looks worse than the original. Many animations are cut. The graphics are terrible. Models are like plastic. The car is damaged worse than the original. In short, this is a complete failure.

    GTA Definite Trilogy is perhaps one of the WORST Remasters for three games that were loved by fans. This Trilogy “Remaster” is nothing but a buggy glitchy mess that has shaders and had a child smoothen out the textures and player-models. Rockstar knows they messed up, but don’t care, they only care that you gave them sixty bucks for a game that is sometimes unplayable. Not even a full weekGTA Definite Trilogy is perhaps one of the WORST Remasters for three games that were loved by fans. Not even a full week after it’s release,Rockstar shut the launcher down completely for 24 Hours not allowing you to play anything on it (Mafia, GTA, RDR, etc), They then took down the Game stating that they had files which were not meant to be in the final product. That meant if you preordered or bought the game, you wouldn’t get your money back and would have to wait longer to even be able to play this excuse of a game. One of the worst parts even would be that they took the original games (San Andreas, Vice City, and GTA III) off of Steam so that you have no choice but to buy the remaster. I’ve seen mods that were way better on the original games, but have been taken down by Rockstar and Take Two because it would have made them not gain more money. The only game that has been new from rockstar from the last three generations of consoles (Playstation 3, 4, 5) (Xbox 360,One, Series X) have been Grand Theft Auto Five And Red Dead Redemption 2 which both are great games, but like Grand Theft Auto Five we haven’t had a new one in forever. I believe that Rockstar Has And WILL become the new EA because they don’t care how the fans or customer feels, they just are happy that they made a profit off of you.… Expand

Sure the cars have a bit of a shine to them also but that doesn't really amount to much. The missions and the story remains the same but they tried to modernize it aka put GTA 5 interface (weapon and radio wheels) and apparent shooting but it feels very rough and clunky. The PS5 versions are a joke since both the fidelity and the performance options looked the same to me but the former has an embarrassing 30fps while the latter tries to target 60 frames but spikes a lot under the 40s when there are a lot of things happening. I played SA until the the last set of Las Venturas missions and just couldn't move on and left it there. The three games crashed dozens of times especially since both Vice City and San Andreas crashed in certain missions if you don't put the game on performance mode. Besides some HD environmental graphics the game features an auto-saving system that comes in handy but actually can be detrimental. In both VC and SA the character would sometimes just gets stuck randomly in the middle of a mission and freeze. I had to input cheats to allow the character to get unstuck. To be honest, I was kind of hoping this definitive editions would at least be consistent but they are very mediocre. These remasters are even worse than the subpar remasters of Arkham Collection and Dishonored 1. Even if they do decide to patch these games, I am not planning to ever play them again.… Expand

    Os jogos tem melhorias óbvias mas nada que justifique os R$300, é possível que seja amplamente melhorado através de patches de correção e que adicionem funcionalidades essenciais de um jogo “atual”.
    No aspecto geral gostei do jogo, não gerei muita expectativa, mas certamente é a maior decepção que a rockstar já nos fez experienciar (até agora).

    i can't believe it, i spent years waiting for this remaster, and all they did was put fingers in cj's hands. it's an average remaster, to be polite, and overpriced above all else, and the game remains with the same simple, silly bugs that were acceptable at the time the game was released, and today it's just a ridiculous detail. they really look like they're trying to make a sucker out of us.

    Absolutely garbage game. Even modders do a better job than this buggy mess R* just created. Most of the details in the original games have been removed. The water physics the terrain, the map fog, and also the vegetation mechanics are degraded. Even Cyberbug feels better after playing this buggy mess

    It's not without it's problems , but it still feels good to revisit these classics with all the enhancements they have made. For instance npcs use to not react when pointing guns at them in GTA 3 and vice city but now they do. The lighting is amazing the textures are definitely a improvement.     If you choose any of the 3 games and stand perfectly still in-game, there's no denying that the environments look 'better'. But that's where the improvements end. In motion, this game looks and plays like absolute trash.    This is one of the worst remasters I've ever played. Absolutely hilarious that they failed this miserably to slightly upscale a game that was released 20 years ago.

In motion, this game looks and plays like absolute trash. You're not sure what's a bug/glitch or an actual in-game choice made by the devs half the time.

    Nothing about this collection is "definitive," and everyone should absolutely opt to play the OGs if the option exists for you.

    Don't buy this trilogy, its a mess, not even close to something what we experienced playing back in old days. So disappointed in Rockstar, why do you even considered to do remaster for this games? Who told you that its a good idea? This games was and are legendary in the way they were released and never required remaster, mods for this cases were more than enough. SHAME.

    No pueden sacar un juego en estas condiciones. Lo único que les importa a las empresas es la rentabilidad y nadie piensa en los jugadores que al fin y al cabo somos los que compramos el juego. Si no está para salir, pateenlo 6 meses o 1 año más. Queremos un juego pulido no basuras.

    This game is so f horrible. Zero FPS, terrify graphic, worst model of NPC. In Russia, this game cost 5k rubles. This is so much for this bs.
