    Отвратительная работа. GTA Vice City моя самая любимая часть игры, и видя что они с ней сделали, я просто хочу нынешней компании Rockstar скорейшего закрытия. Это уже не та компания, которая создавала те самые GTA, это очередные талерасты, которые не хотят ничего делать, при этом поганят наследие той самой Rockstar.Отвратительная работа.     The remasters aren’t perfect. Overtime I’m sure rockstar will fix the bugs. Those complaining about the lack of swimming in GTA 3 and Vice City… you couldn’t swim in the originals either. These games are fun and very true to their originals.

Даже не на хайпе хочу занизить оценку, я сознательно больше нуля не могу поставить этому, потому что они просто убили не только то, за что я любил оригинальную ГТА, они убили то, за что я любил старые игры в принципе!!! Я даже не хочу писать про то, как выглядят персонажи, и что вся игра стала мультяшной, и что теперь я ее просто не могуЯ давно не был так разочарован... Это просто кошмар. Даже не на хайпе хочу занизить оценку, я сознательно больше нуля не могу поставить этому, потому что они просто убили не только то, за что я любил оригинальную ГТА, они убили то, за что я любил старые игры в принципе!!! Я даже не хочу писать про то, как выглядят персонажи, и что вся игра стала мультяшной, и что теперь я ее просто не могу воспринимать серьезно, я бы много мог про это написать, но хочу затронуть другую, не менее важную тему - удаление оригинальных текстур витрин и замена их на проклятую "3d" текстуру за стеклом. Это выглядит ужасно, но хуже всего это просто стирает все детали, которыми наполнили мир оригинальные разработчики. Я очень люблю фото текстуры, и мне очень жаль, что с ними так обходятся, даже в Mafia Definitive Edition несмотря на отличную детализацию, все витрины заменены на пустые стекла, хотя в оригинале было куча деталей, хоть и запечатленных в текстуры, но ты смотрел на эти текстуры и видел в них кучу деталей, интерьер, стеллажи с конкретными товарами, вывески, наклейки, все передавали через фототекстуры даже в те давние времена. Но сейчас вместо них витрины просто заменяются стеклом, за которым максимум поставят пару предметов или убогую замыленную 3d текстуру, в которой нет никаких деталей, но из-за блестящей поверхности стекла выглядит лучше, чем фототекстура. Я считаю это огромным минусом текущих технологий, из-за чего все дома кажутся одинаковыми. В оригинальной же трилогии GTA создали почти каждое здание индивидуальным за счет ранообразных фототекстур и вывесок, каждое здание представляло собой уникальный интерьер, но в этом недоремейке все стерли начисто, просто заменив фототекстуры на убогое стекло, уничтожив все детали и индивидуальность зданий. Лучше бы они просто подправили освещение, эффекты и дальность прорисовки, чем портили все остальное. Это худшие впечатления, что я получил, играя в игры, так испортить хорошие игры надо постараться.… Expand

    Grand Theft Auto III is one of the finest pieces of video game open world literature ever made when it first came out 20 years ago, and after 20 years later we finally got the GTA III: Trilogy remastered just in time for its 20 years anniversary and... it's nowhere close as masterful you might've thought it'll be. Sadly, this 20 year anniversary port has technical issues involvingGrand Theft Auto III is one of the finest pieces of video game open world literature ever made when it first came out 20 years ago, and after 20 years later we finally got the GTA III: Trilogy remastered just in time for its 20 years anniversary and... it's nowhere close as masterful you might've thought it'll be. Sadly, this 20 year anniversary port has technical issues involving gameplay, bugs, heavy rain, and typos on signs/billboards and of course endless amounts of frustration that involves the shooting mechanics. The gameplay features still feels exactly the same and fluid as the PS2 ports which is great. The graphics and upgraded textures with lighting and environmental upgrades is an incredible upgrade, but in terms of gameplay performance - the frame rate is just embarassing on PS5 after turning on performance mode. Everything else about this trilogy is a nice touch from porting the classic Renderware engine to Unreal Engine 5 after Rockstar merged with Epic Games after the success of Fortnite and I can see why Rockstar chose UE5 and I am indifferent about it. For those that are wondering about the OSTs for all three classic GTA titles, most songs are not affected as most of them got renewed in terms of licensing and I am glad most of the songs from GTA VC are still there. If I was being completely honest, this game needs a lot of patches to fix the gameplay presentation and they should bring back the classic control and aim shooting scheme from the PS2 era. As a lifelong fan of Rockstar Games, I am starting to worry about the future for Rockstar and I don't know if I can call this 20 year anniversary remaster a cash grab or not but I am starting to have doubts in them after one of the great veteran Rockstar leads left the company. And to be honest, GTA III: The Definitive Edition deserved better. Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is what I call a 20 year anniversary remaster that look superb thanks to the modern technology that brought the best out of the GTA3 trilogy, but it doesn't feel like a proper revamped Rockstar remaster we know anymore.… Expand

    I am really enjoying revisting theses games they are fantastic all 3 games looks really nice with lighting and weather effects and makes them feel so much more emersive.

    There has been very little work done here to bring the games up to a 2021 standard. Unfortunately in its launch state just doesn't play as fun or enjoyable. Played on Xbox Series X and it can just about run at 60fps in some places. There have been some amazing fan made mods that have come out and they really showed the potential for what the developer could have gone for.     Big improvement on graphics overall but that's it really. Loads of bugs and gameplay should have been improved more. I feel a remake would have been better for these games.

    Pas mal de crash qui nous font quitter le jeu... L'audio n'est pas remis à jour, un simple éclaircissements aurait été suffisait..
    Pas mal de bug de texture , de temps d'affichage , bug de collisions..
    Bref jen passe..
    Très déçu et pas moyen de se faire rembourser !!

And the way they have edited the signs makes it so the signs no longer make any sense whatsoever so the jokes are gone. These signs were a part of the charm of the originals. Over 40 music tracks have been removed from the trilogy. From Michael Jackson, Dr Dre, Ozzy Osbourne, The Buggles and many more. There are many weird graphical glitches and weird design choices, like removing the fog, sun effects and much more. A lot of what made the original games such loved classics is simply gone. Someone has since gone into the game code and seen notes left within the code by the game developers who made this remaster. When you read these messages it becomes very clear that this remaster was made by people who didn't care one bit. It is a quickly thrown together rushed out cash grab trying to cash in on the nostalgia of the originals just in time for all that Christmas cash. Rockstar has become super greedy and sloppy ever since GTAV Online and shark cards became a thing. Ever since Leslie Benzies, Dan Houser, Lazlow and others left Rockstar Games the company is finished.… Expand

    This trilogy couldn't have been created by a big company like Rockstar. It even doesn't deserve Its price. Nothing has changed except checkpoint during missions. Graphics are worse than the originals, primitive aiming, driving etc; sudden crashes, nonsense map glitches... It is a HUGE frustration.

    If you don't look too closely on visuals it will even seem not bad (but this doesn't include characters) . But the more you look the more problems with visuals you see: weird rain and water, some problems with lighting, no fog, some textures look super weird and there's a lot of problems with spelling on them for some reason, some things look unrealisticly shiny etc. Vehicles are nearlyIf you don't look too closely on visuals it will even seem not bad (but this doesn't include characters) .     Sound is completely untouched. Whis is inadmissible. In GTA 3 some sounds literally hurt the ears.
    Physics is like in original, but in some cases they even managed to mess it up.
    Technically the games is bad. Most of bugs ang glitches are stayed from the original, but now there's A TON of new ones (including visual bugs). The games is very poorly optimized.
    They also promised us better controls, but controls are barely changed.
    Oh, and the price is 60$!!! Defenitely doesn't worth it    … Expand

Most character models are completely horrible and people are finding more stuff like that online (r/gta).     I played the switch version. Tons of frame drops, cars and trees pop in like crazy if you go over 20 miles an hour. the new shooting is actually terrible i hate it the saints row the third port is SO much better than this its sad to be beat by direct competition like that

I personally enjoyed playing the SA remaster, it brought back a lot of memories, but I simply can't convince myself that these three titles are worth $60. Speaking relatively to the price, the money they demand can't be justified. Gameplay hasn't changed much, they have managed to retain the "feel" of the original games (to a respectable extent), but is that a valid reason to excuse R*'s lethargy? No. I was expecting more from a top-of-the-shelf 2021 AAA title, and they have disappointed me and many other loyalists alike. One of my major criticisms of the "remaster" is quite simple: It should've been a remake instead. R* have pretty much mastered open world graphics with GTA V and fluid physics with GTA IV, and both titles are almost a decade old. When they have such tools at their disposal, why did they deliver a sub-par video game? It does have some positives to it, like a MUCH higher drawing distance and better textures, but overall, it hasn't improved much. The games, and frankly R* themselves, are in troublesome waters... First they disappointed the player base with E&E, and have totally dropped the ball by destroying the faith old-timers had in them by butchering legendary titles. The advancement is negligible and unimpressive, and is massively overpriced for what it offers (not to mention the countless bugs and glitches, it is 2021 R*). You might wonder why I've rated the game 6/10? It felt good. I believe it is the nostalgia, reliving my childhood memories. When I was playing the game, I wasn't thinking about most of these things, because it made me feel like a kid again... But don't let nostalgia take away the fact that the "remaster" is nothing more than a cheap mod (and guess what? mods don't cost $60! in fact, they don't cost anything at all). And with T2 constantly gunning down modders left, right, and center, these legendary titles might never get the remake they deserve...… Expand

    To say that I am disappointed is to say nothing. Once again I was convinced that Rockstar is not the same, since they give their great games to just anyone.

    4) Unreasonably high price
    5) Intimidation and lawsuits against moderators
    All this makes you give a bad rating to your game.

    I'm playing this on PS5. There are performance issues, and the game will not maintain a stable frame rate. There are many bugs, too many to name. And I've only played 4 or 5 hours so far.     The rain effects look laughable. It looks like they hired the director of the Birdemic movie to create the rain effects. That is very embarrassing for a videogame franchise that is owned by a company that made billions of dollars. The character models look even worse and more cartoonish than the original. The characters look like they were created using WWE 2K20's character creation. Makes sense, considering WWE 2K series is also owned by Take-Two. Some songs on the radio are missing. The developers could have at least replaced those missing songs, but they were too greedy for that. The pool minigame in GTA San Andreas has terrible physics. And you can't even play with another friend with a second controller, when you could do that in the original version. You can't take pictures and save them in the Gallery section like you could in the original. In what world does a PS5 Definitive edition has less content than the original PS2? Imagine charging a ridiculous price of $60 for less content.

    The developers that advertised this game were extremely greedy and anti-consumer. Using vague terms such as "GTA V inspired controls" leaving us to speculate what that means. They decided to remove the classic versions of these games before even showcasing what this so-called "Definitive Edition" even looked like. It should be up to us to decide which version we want to buy, not the developers. The developers knew that if they were to call this horrendous game GTA Trilogy Remastered, then less people would be interested in pre-ordering this game. Speaking of pre-orders, the greedy developers had the audacity to open the window for pre-orders without even showing any gameplay. This outrageous greed makes Activision and Ubisoft look like saints in comparison.

    There is no multiplayer. So once you beat the campaigns, there is not a reason to play this game again. Charging $60 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. And they had the audacity to take out the couch co-op multiplayer from GTA San Andreas. This is why I hate when consumers value nostalgia over quality. It just encourages developers to make cheap and lazy cash grabs. Don't get me wrong, these games were great when they first released. But by PS5 $60 standards, these games are the laughing stock of the videogame industry. I don't recommend this pathetic excuse of a remaster at all.    … Expand

    It's not perfect, but of you have any love for these games I think this package is well worth $60. The overall uplift makes it a joy to revisit these classics, and the minor issues that pop up occasionally can be easily laughed off. The game is yet to be patched, so I believe it can only get better from here.

Now Rockstar Launcher has been down over a day, i cant even play Red Dead Redemption 2, because it asks me to connect to internet and i cant do that, because launcher is down. This is ridiculous. They have milked GTA Online over 8 years and thats all they are capable of for now. Yes Red Dead 2 was great, but that was 4-5 years ago. Thats a long time. I have zero hope for GTA 6, absolutely none. I bet it will be with short story and extreme focus on online, i mean who know, maybe whole game will be just online, but im pretty sure they will design GTA 6 map, so it would mostly fit for online.
