    Gta 3 is so bad because of its boring car missions and many bugs are here. But they are not only in this, like gta 3, vice city is also boring and bad. But not so like gta 3, gta 3 is RİDİCİLOUS. San andreas is better than the other games, but there are many bugs in it like the others. Rockstar saved its ass in san andreas for putting it a checkpoint system during the mission.     Playing on PS5. A few minor bugs which only happened after restarting a mission. The new control system makes it so much easier to drive and shoot. A few characters look off but nothing off putting. The world and environment look beautiful with the enhanced graphics and 60fps

    This remaster is a disaster. I don't feel any change except cj face.gameplay hasn't changed.just my question to the developer is how this remaster 60$? while PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store were selling exactly the same game just a while ago for $15. it's a aylight robbery

    For saving more money, R* gave the job to some unknown small studio with outsourcing a lot of this games in india.

    Ultimately, R* proves again that AAA became all about making money of dumb customers with no standards. What i don´t get at all are the 10 out of 10 ratings. These people either didn´t played the originals, the demakes or both.
    PS: You want to know which of the 10outof10 ratings are bought? go on the profiles of the writers, if there´s only 1 rated game, you know what you´re dealing with.    … Expand

    Bugged out graphics ,bad character models which look like abominations … issues from mobile port of the gtasa are present in this definitive version weather effects either not present like when go above the city and look at the San Andreas from distance or when it rains it looks like it’s raining milk witch is bad enough but this makes some racing missions unplayable this is just really sad

    I grew up on Rockstar games and for GTAV and the both Red Dead titles, I actually went to midnight launches to be the first to get these now iconic and game defining titles in my hot little hands and on to my console.
    What I can’t understand is how Rockstar would trash their brand, reputation and legacy for such a grubby money grab.
    The fact that this “definitive” more aptly, defective version of the collection was allowed to be released by what I have regarded as the greatest game developer in history is bordering on criminal intent. The fact there was no gameplay shown or review copies given out prior to release would appear to support this.
    I also find it appalling and galling that Rockstar have removed these legacy titles and chased and harassed modders (who have done a far better job than the company tasked with producing this series) and threatened them with punitive damages.
    So now what is left of these games legacy? A steaming pile of lazy, underdone and underwhelming garbage.
    Ok, so the draw distance has been increased but so has the amount of bugs and glitches which I won’t list as so many others have done better than I can. However, special mention of rain effects that cripple the frame rate so substantially and bring on a sensation of nausea deserve a special mention.
    I’ll say it again, this launch is a grubby, disappointing cash grab.
    I never thought I would say this about a Rockstar release, but, I want my money back!!    … Expand

    Based off my time on GTA 3 and a little bit of Vice City, this is rough. I'm sure you've seen all the bad with it, but just on a technical side alone, it doesn't work. The rain effects are bad (granted I haven't seen some of the worst that has been floating around) but constant bugs and pop ins are killing me. When I'm driving around, each of the cars on the road pop in from about 4 feetBased off my time on GTA 3 and a little bit of Vice City, this is rough. I'm sure you've seen all the bad with it, but just on a technical side alone, it doesn't work. The rain effects are bad (granted I haven't seen some of the worst that has been floating around) but constant bugs and pop ins are killing me. The draw distance is far, but when the rest of the cars are constantly popping in, that kin of makes the rest of it moot. I have to wait for the game to render in the level most times when I die.     One would expect great graphics and improved characters look in 2021. Nope! Developer decided to release this abomination and fail. The ratings are deserved and community message is clear. Huge waste of time and energy which could be directed into creative work. You can skip it and play original.

    Not a bad remaster. I liked the updated graphics and lighting. Among the minuses are optimization problems. But overall, the PlayStation 5 version is enjoyable to play.

    This game needs a PATCH asap. The remastering is a good idea, but really needs to polish more details in order to be a Rockstar game. For now ( 14 November 2021): 0/10. Wouldn't recommend buying in its actual state honestly.

    Очень хороший ремастер. Не идеальный, есть проблемы с лаунчером и т.д, но графика смотрится круто. Никогда не писал обзоры, но из-за даунов, которые оценивают игру по скриншотам и не понимают чем отличается "ремастер" от "ремейка", специально создал аккаунт чтобы хоть как-то повысить рейтингОчень хороший ремастер. Не идеальный, есть проблемы с лаунчером и т.д, но графика смотрится круто.     Un regal cette compilation,pour avoir connu le lancement en 2001 ça fait vraiment monter les poils de re-découvrir toutes les rues de liberty city.
    Et vice city quel kiff incroyable..

    Cette compilation s'adresse surtout aux nostalgique. Sur ps5 ça tourne bien en performance ya eu du beau travail sur le plan graphique pour avoir relancer les originaux juste après. La plupart de lost sont présents rien à voir avec les listes sui ont fuitee sur le net avant la sortie.

    Ya bien les musiques se scarface sur gta 3 ou bien flash fm sur vice city. Moi je suis parti pour me faire les 3 à 100% et ça va être que du kiff,gameplay vieillot ou pas le charme des villes de gta à ce truc en plus qui fait toute la différence,et le charme et l'atmosphère sont toujours bien présents et c'est dingue comment rockstar a changé le face du monde ouvert car même un gta 3 je le trouve pas à la rue sur la vie de celui ci.     This is such a shame and such a massively missed opportunity to remaster 3 classic games and give them the respect they deserve. Unreal Engine was the worst choice to remaster this game with and it is a real shame that the original versions of these games are now taken down and replaced by this.     Un buen juego creo que rockstar debió aprovechar su tiempo en gta 6 y no lanzar una remasterización ya que no añade nada es lo mismo solo con mas gráficos que no sorprenden demasiado además quitaron el modo multijugador,que bueno era incómodo pero era cool jugar con tu mejor amigo o con tu hermano pero eso ya no se puede pero bueno

    Preordered on ps5 but played horrible in terms of performance and got my refund luckily. Shouldn’t have fps problems when the game cost the same price as a full fledged new triple A title and isnt a full on remake from the ground up. Very little effort was put into the games and it shows.

There are mission bugs, particularly in VC’s Gun Runner. The frame rate is inconsistent at best, dropping the most drastically when it begins to rain. The rain is also unbearable. In VC and SA, the issue doesn’t seem to be quite as intolerable, but nonetheless they are still just white streaks flying across the screen instead of something that actually resembles rain drops. You could go through the r/GTA or r/GTATrilogy for 5 minutes and spot 30 bugs players have found, which vary from immersion breaking to game breaking. There are removed songs and animations in each game, the most egregious of the animations being everything muscular CJ does now. And as far as missing songs goes, the company that made this game has amassed an unbelievable amount of wealth, and it’s nothing but laziness and greediness to not work out licensing for the ACTUAL DEFINITIVE SOUNDTRACK. The games’ audio received almost no polish. It seems the only thing actually done to change these games from what they were before is the graphical appearance. When these games were current, they were the best looking PS2 era games around. With the “Definitive” editions just released, they are still nothing more than the best looking PS2 era games. The only changes to make gameplay any smoother are the free camera, and free camera drive by controls. By today’s standards, GTA 3 is next to unplayable. Nothing about it feels good. It was a chore to complete, and it’s a game from my childhood that I have incredibly fond memories of. I even go back and play the original version once every 2 or 3 years, along with VC and SA. These games deserved improvements to make them appeal to the generation that didn’t get the chance to play them when all the hype surrounded them. Instead, we’ve gotten 3 bug ridden messes from a studio that already ruined the 10 year anniversary edition of, arguably, everybody’s favorite game, San Andreas (I prefer VC for the story, and SA for gameplay). If changes aren’t made VERY soon to fix performance issues, and eliminate the dozens of bugs players are coming across, I think the legacy of these games will be tarnished, and the reputation of all companies involved will be questioned of laziness and greed. tl;dr: It’s a rushed mess. It is incredibly apparent they needed at least another 2 months to have the games properly built. And now, instead, we’re going to have to wait and hope that they add patches that we should’ve never had to wait for in the first place.… Expand

    The textures look like something out of a children's cartoon: they exaggerated the saturation of the characters to try to look "new generation". The most ridiculous thing is that they try to sell you at $60 something that mods could achieve perfectly. Disappointing, to say the least.

    The game was not good, there were a lot of bugs and glitches in the game, and this is just a few of the game's problems. Rockstar should have worked a little more on the game track.

    Made in the Manchild Engine 4 and skidded together in maybe a few months with AI upscaled textures.

    Game is trash, I feel scammed.
    I initiate a charge-back, funny chuckle they can enjoy the 20 dollar processor fee.

    How the hell does my PC with RX 6900xt and Ryzen 7 5800x can't run the game with 60fps in 2k ??? FPS in these 3 games dropped so bad not even over 40fps. This is pure garbage not even worth your time to play and pay. The optimization is the worst.

    I decided to buy it on the Nintendo Switch, which was a huge mistake. The visuals somehow look worse than the 10th anniversary edition released on mobile devices. The framerate averages around 24-30 fps, that is if you're not in a gunfight, driving, or anything else intense (aka playing the game).

    There are lots of visual bugs that make the game seem like it's in alpha and the character models look like they're from a Nintendo 64 game.

    Racing missions are near impossible to beat since the game will lag if you are driving at high speeds, and it lags even more when hitting checkpoints.

    This game was "remastered" by Grove Street Games - the same company responsible for the awful 10th anniversary edition released in 2014. The original and remastered versions of these games were pulled from all digital retailers, meaning the only way to buy any version of these games online is to buy this horrible release for a rip-off of $60.

    Grove Street Games needs to be disbanded and Rockstar should be ashamed that they ruined the legacy of their greatest games with this release.    … Expand

    I've only played San Andreas thus far, and holy hell way to take a classic and butcher it. The mechanics are worse, the graphic and artistic update do not justify the $60 price. The gameplay is beyond frustrating and glitchy. Serious updates and improvements needed asap or refund GTA fans for the failed cash grab.

    O gráfico ambiente do game tá muito bom, mas já os personagens.. Tudo estragado fora os vários bugs durante gameplay e até cutscenes, crashes durante o gameplay, queda de FPS em algumas partes do mapa e com algumas condições climáticas até piora, os NPC's são totalmente sem noção (mais que o normal) principalmente os membros da gangue recrutados Enfim é isso

    They banned mods, removed original games from stores, cut out many music tracks, made ugly cartoonish characters, games are filled with bugs, it's based on poor mobile ports, basically the old game with new lightning and lazy AI upscaled textures, and yes they're charging 60$ for it. nothing else than a zero

    This game lost his atmosphere, that was 16-20 years ago. The mods from another models were better. NPC are awful. Its not worth 50 euros. Max 20 eur.

    From the Definitive Edition of the iconic GTA titles emerged a technically unfinished remaster, which remained halfway. The content is and will always remain timeless, but the way to get to it and to enjoy it is simply not good.
