    God of War Ragnarok is 100% one of my favorite games to date, and in my opinion, does a fantastic job of doing just what 2018 succeeded at and boosting it tenfold. Its story was a rollercoaster of emotions that I cannot even begin to describe in my own words, but all I can say is that the story of GOWR is magnificent. However, I'm only giving my rating for GOWR a 9, because even with the beautiful storytelling and new character dynamics, the enemies and puzzles are a total pain in the ass. Some bosses don't feel like fun (Double Dreki & Double Soul Eater bosses), and there are moments in the game where enemies show up out of nowhere for no reason. And Sigil Puzzles..... **** SUCK. I'm sorry, but whoever came up with these didn't want players to have a challenge, but a reason to throw their computer or controller out the goddamn window. But, I can overlook all that and still see GOWR as a beautiful and much-needed installment in the GOW franchise. (Also Alfheim still sucks ass 4 years later lmao)… Expand

    This game lives up to the hype. The world concept and art are some of the best I've seen in a decade, and the performance optimization is nothing short of miraculous for a startup company founded to make this game. The gameplay is also a well rounded FPS action game that is reliably fun.

    God Of War Ragnarok is great game! With fun, fluid gameplay! Mediocre puzzles, and amazingly acted and impressive long cutscenes! Great bosses, and a great time all around!

    This game did an amazing job combining story and gameplay in a way that I found incredibly immersive. I was already engaged from playing the first game, but my investment in the story only grew as it continued. The new characters are great, and I am excited for where this series goes next.

    The story is nice and natural followup to the previous game, but it can feel too mechanical sometimes, everything tying together is great, but some parts of it makes it look like important moments are just used to solve problems the writers created for themselves. Kratos´s and Freya´s character arcs aren´t great. The latter is too generic and fast paced, the former is messy at worst and did something pretty outrageous considering what went on the first game and who he is. Gameplay isn´t much of an improvement on 2018, the enemy variety is the one thing that prevents it from being boring for someone who played a lot of the last game. It feels more like dlc combat and not sequel combat.… Expand

    This game basically takes everything that worked with its predecessor and made all of it better. The only thing I would say isn't as good as the first game is the story because it isn't as focused, but even then it introduces you to far more areas of the map and the end has far more spectacle - 9.5/10

    Ragnarok is DEFINITELY a fantastic follow up to God of War 2018 with an amazing story, INSANE graphics, an amazing FromSoftware like combat, and overall, a TRUE masterpiece for the PS5 that will be talked about for years to come.

    Back Again Killing Gods. Bearded Kratos looks really cool. The Story is Amazing. The Fights are cool. I hope they will Continue with Kratos.

    This game is beautiful in every sense! Graphics, plot, gameplay... It all makes the game great! She easily devotes part of 2018 to her characters and plot. The story will touch anyone who has gone through at least one of the past parts and it's beautiful. SantaMonica was not let down again and proved that they could do the impossible!

Un juego increíble e imperdible para cualquier fan de la saga god of war, similar en muchos aspectos y mecánicas al juego anterior (god of war 2018) pero mejorando varias de las mecánicas y aspectos del juego, el arco argumental de Kratos aquí se lleva a un extremo el cual, llega a ser inmejorable, dándonos en distintos momentos la mejoría como ser humano de Kratos, al respetar y valorar las decisiones de Atreus, Atreus un personaje con varios momentos juganles, los cuales en momentos llegan a ser tediosos y cansantes, el mayor ejmplo de esto es el bosque de hierro el cual a pesar de no ser más de 2 horas, es aburrido para muchos jugadores, el cual, históricamente no es malo ya que abarca y enriquece la historia de los gigantes y las raíces de Atreus, un Juegazo, en cualquier aspecto, pero queda opacado al no innovar mucho en las distintas mecánicas vistas en el juego anterior, muy recomendable para amantes y no muy amantes de la saga en general, un sólido 8/10 pudo llegar a tener mejores peleas de jefes, mejor final, y acortar algunas partes tediosas… Expand

    The battle experience is way better than the last game while the storyline still seems a bit cheesy and annoying to me. And there are just too many things to collect if you want to get the platinum trophy.

    El verdadero Goty 2023, una joya en todo aspecto, la historia no supera al anterior juego porque no se puede superar lo insuperable, igual de maravillosa, emotiva, desgarradora, el mejor juego del 2023, simplemente la maravilla hecha videojuego, sus misiones secundarias son incluso mejores, simplemente fantastico

    O jogo é tecnicamente sensacional, a gameplay é ótima, os gráficos são incrìveis, não encontrei bugs nem crash.
    Entretanto, quando finalizei a história minha sensação foi de frustração. Não gostei da parte final do jogo, o Thor morre de maneira muito fácil e nem é o Kratos que o mata, o Odin morre de maneira muito simples, o Kratos sequer pega o Mjolnir.

    damn near perfect game. The one thing i didn't like was when Freya started shouting when i didn't do something right immediately ( especially in combat sections ). but other than that amazing game.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
