Nov 13, 2022I'm not going to spoil anything but this game is just a shadow of God of war 2018 , the first one was brilliant the second one is boring and annoying

May 19, 2023Overdone and overstuffed. Excessively excessive. In the previous game I was struck by how often the game would NOT have a combat encounter when you expected it to, and it gave you the space to breathe. Not so much in this game, every moment there is a line of dialogue or an enemy encounter. It is a suffocating experience. Overdone and overstuffed.

Dec 18, 2022Game looks and plays very good. The story is also very good. The things i did not like is that every world and every chapter feels the same. It looks different but feels like you play the same level over and over again. It also feels like an dlc of the 2018 game then a complet new game. The game has a good combat and a nice feeling of controlling the characters.

Nov 10, 2022I really liked God of war 2018 and heading into this game I was expecting an amazing and breathtaking experience that i would never forget but the game was just Meh. Being honest this is a PS4 game there is no defining feature that stands out from the PS4 version from the PS5. The game also has these obvious loading screens that pretend the they are not. Overall 7.6 out of 10

Nov 21, 2022Gameplay is solid. Graphics are good. Story is lazy boarding on bad. Terrible pacing. Uninteresting environments. Hand-holding puzzles. Below average boss design. & Disappointing a sequel.

Nov 14, 2022Story 10/10
Exceptional story telling with triple a cut scene Graphic 7/10
No ground breaking graphic but character design is top notch
Sound 7/10
Sound track is good Gameplay 7/10
Improve combat and mechanic Poor animation (especially when enemy floating mid air during hit) Long loading time even on PS5 Linear map design full of narrow path -

Nov 16, 2022Very decent game, good story, good gameplay, but essentially it felt more like a refined standalone expansion of GoW 2018 than a game per se, the one thing that really bugged me is the inability to turn off tips that characters continue to bark at you throughout the entire game, it got really annoying after a while

Nov 22, 2022The game would be much better if you get rid of all this dialoguesand gibbirish talk, incredebly annoying. Completely impossible to play this again because of this issue, and playing as son and freya was not fun at all.
-
Jun 4, 2023Nothing stands out too much from the last game, which was miles better. Story felt really rushed to me towards the end, way under my expectations.

Nov 19, 2022Heimdall's character should have been better. His voice actor was amazing. Thor's character was like a lapdog for Odin. He didn't play a big role; he was just doing what Odin told him.

Nov 13, 2022Good : Story is great. Love the development of Kratos and Arteus. Graphics are clean and up to par.
Bad: Weak combat, everything feels underwhelming. Very short game. No replay value.
42 hours to 100%. Easy platinum. -

Una repeticion iguel al god of war del 2018 pero con mejora espera que valla por buen camino este juego pero no termine en decepcion

Nov 11, 2022Ragnarok is a good game, but a disappointing sequel, it doesn't improve very much in comparison with it's predecessor, I was expecting a sequel that changed and improved everything like Horizon Forbidden West did, but what I get was basically the same game, with a different story and differente boss fights.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 25, 2024I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

Dec 8, 2022Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.

Dec 1, 2022It’s a satisfying conclusion to the modern God of War saga, but it’s hard to walk away and not feel like this could have been something greater.
