    An emotional roller coaster. The story in this game is breathtaking. I couldn’t stop playing it, because I wanted to know, what happens next. A beautiful ending to this saga. It’s everything God of War 2018 was and more.

    El juego es increible, es mejor que en casi todos los aspectos respecto a su antecesor. Sin embargo, como conocedor de la mitologia nordica, hay rasgos en la historia que no me terminaron de convencer y creo que se podrian haber explotado mucho mejor. Mas alla de mi apreciación personal el juegos es sobresaliente, enhorabuena para Sony y Santamonica.

    Un juego espectacular, la continuidad del GOW del 2018 ha sido un proyecto bien logrado, un trabajo digno de elogios, un ejemplo perfecto de como culminar una narrativa que para muchos de nosotros ha significado mucho.
    Los elementos que constituyen esta gran obra se aprecian con el respeto y atención necesaria para disfrutarlos con una entereza vivaz:

    God of War Ragnarok es la secuela soñada de uno de los mejores juegos de los últimos años. Dicen que segundas partes no son buenas, pero siempre hay gloriosas excepciones y estamos, sin duda, ante una de ellas. El colofón de las aventuras nórdicas de Kratos es un juego sublime, sobresaliente, cercano a la perfección (si eso existe).     Sólo puedo decir que es un juegazo, fuera de los pequeños detalles que ya todos han comentado, me parece una barbaridad lo que hicieron con esta segunda parte.

    This game was everything i'd hoped it be but it just missed the mark of being perfect..

    Things I loved: -> Boss fights - epic battles, satisfying and challenging -> Story - emotional, raw, pacing was perfect, character development is fantastic w plenty of interactions -> Gameplay - new and improved, fresh new combat systems -> Cut scenes - brilliantly done as always, cut scenes    This game was everything i'd hoped it be but it just missed the mark of being perfect..

    Things I loved:
    -> Boss fights - epic battles, satisfying and challenging
    -> Story - emotional, raw, pacing was perfect, character development is fantastic w plenty of interactions
    -> Gameplay - new and improved, fresh new combat systems
    -> Cut scenes - brilliantly done as always, cut scenes blend into gameplay seamlessly, feels like a movie
    -> Soundtrack - my god the soundtrack really hits you in the feels, excellently done
    -> Replayability - lots to do and plenty of side missions
    -> Upgrades - as you upgrade you can see armour sets change in appearance (e.g bronze, silver, gold)
    -> Accessability options - lots to pick from to suit all players, different performance options

    Things I disliked/pet peeves:
    -> UI - I think it is a step down from its predecessor, can be hard to navigate at first
    -> Ugly Armour sets - I wanted more cool armour sets unlocked without doing side missions
    -> Transitions/loading maps - there was too many 'squeeze through a tight space' areas, it sometimes ruined the pacing for gameplay
    -> Limited Performance/ no photo mode - graphics isnt everything but TBH this shouldve only been released on ps5 as ps4 probably limited the performance. No huge improvement in graphics and no photo mode :(
    -> Not enough God/Aesir specific boss fights - I wanted to fight more gods! Just like the old games.    … Expand

    God of War: Ragnarök lived up to the hype. It has an incredible story which develops characters in meaningful ways and has many interesting themes such as family or revenge vs. justice. It’s story is facilitated by fun and engaging combat (with lots of enemy variety!), an excellent soundtrack, and visually stunning art direction. In addition, the voice acting and performances are the bestGod of War: Ragnarök lived up to the hype. It has an incredible story which develops characters in meaningful ways and has many interesting themes such as family or revenge vs. justice. It’s story is facilitated by fun and engaging combat (with lots of enemy variety!), an excellent soundtrack, and visually stunning art direction. In addition, the voice acting and performances are the best of any game I’ve ever played. The only issues I have with the game are the few rare bugs like enemies falling through the floor, or Kratos glitching through obstacles. Also, the companions giveaway hints for puzzles way too quickly for my taste. This being said, I got the platinum trophy today and I’m so glad to have played it. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t picked it up already.… Expand

Excelente juego, mejora en cuanto a variedad de enemigos y bosses respecto al de 2018, Kratos sigue desarrollandose como personaje, además de cerrar el arco de personaje que se abrió en 2018. Sin embargo algunos cambios en los personajes no están del todo bien hechos, un ejemplo de esto es el cambio de actitud de Freya hacia Kratos, que pasa de querer matarlo a aliarse a él, el problema radica en que su cambio de actitud es poco natural y no se siente orgánico el que pase a ser tan cercana en tan poco tiempo respecto en lo que dura el juego. Aún así es un juega o y sin duda alguna un firme candidato a Goty del 2022… Expand

Love the character depth and character progression. They did the story/tragedy of Thor and his family being used by Odin. Beautiful environment on every realm. Did not expect Tyr to be Odin that was a nice plot twist. The actual Ragnarök event was a little lack luster but I loved the story and fights in it, being level 9 facing level 6 enemies gave me a real power trip. I love the father son dynamic between Atreus and Kratos. It's really heart wrenching at times, pretty funny at times (mainly Mimir 10/10 character btw). I genuinely think this game is phenomenal. I don't think it's a masterpiece cause of a few flaws in pacing, and how glanced over the actual Ragnarök event seems, but that might've just been my fault for not really looking at what was going on. in conclusion, if you liked 2018 you'll love this game, it improves upon 2018 in such amazing ways it's actually surprising how well they made it feel the same but different as well.… Expand

    En mi opinión no es el juego Perfecto pero esta a nada de que lo este, es un juego increíble el cual hace buena justicia a la saga nórdica es un juego que no debes pasar si tienes un ps5, le doy un 9 por que tiene algunos bugs pero no afectan la jugabilidad se que con algunos parches lo solucionarán.     Is an excellent game, only the final part is a little bit meh but the rest of the game you will be enjoying it all the secondary mission the history is a very good adaptation of the Nordic mitology

    Amazing story. Amazing dialogue. Amazing cutscenes. But there is something that i dont really liked in the second part of this game. Dont get me wrong the game is incredible but i found a problem and its just me i think lol.. the problem is that the gameplay and the camera movement feels a bit off. According to the first game released in 2018, they increased the variety of action.The variety of action has been increased with the newly added weapon.The option to play with Atreus has added a new game scheme to the game.It is very good that Atreus and Freya also have a talent tree.The story is excellent.It has been a complete sequel.The only negative is that epic boss battles are missing as the Gof of war fan base.Boss battles have been increased compared to the first game, but the epic ones are quite a few.… Expand

    Perfect in every way. The boss battles require the most focus ever. Getting to play as Kratos brings you back so much nostalgia. Getting to play as Atreus is amazing too. I loved every second of this game.

    This game is an absolute masterpiece I have beat it already and have enjoyed every second of it. This game is a must play. Only downsides I have for the game is trying to find all of the collectibles which is very time consuming. The ending was very unexpected. Bravo to the developer team for this amazing game, thanks!

    Grafica simile al precedente titolo ma sempre molto ben curata, soprattutto nei dettagli. Anche il gameplay è rimasto pressochè invariato, seppur presentando qualche novità (come le frecce di Freya, la nuova lancia e le sue funzioni). Personaggi curato in maniera praticamente perfetta sia dal punto di vista fisico sia da quello caratteriale. Trama come sempre avvincente ed affascinante,Grafica simile al precedente titolo ma sempre molto ben curata, soprattutto nei dettagli. Anche il gameplay è rimasto pressochè invariato, seppur presentando qualche novità (come le frecce di Freya, la nuova lancia e le sue funzioni). Personaggi curato in maniera praticamente perfetta sia dal punto di vista fisico sia da quello caratteriale. Trama come sempre avvincente ed affascinante, seppur a tratti (brevissimi tratti, quasi microscopici) risulti non scontata, ma quanto meno leggibile. Esplorazione curata nei minimi dettagli, oggetti collezionabili ovunque, nemici diversi tra loro da affrontare ed ogni quest secondaria ha una storia a se, non sono tirate lì per allungare il brodo. Menzione d'onore per la prima battaglia contro Thor (ad inizio gioco) che reputo una delle migliori boss fight mai realizzate, non tanto per la difficoltà, quanto nell'insieme di tutto il contesto.

    Such a great game!The narrative could be better at certain points but its the perfect sequel to end Kratos'journey!The detail at work and the production values are beyond imagination and not comparable to the first game!Big scale boss fights are missing once again which is a pity!

    the game is just a masterpiece the graphics are great, I liked the plot, I almost shed a tear. but the constantly spawning monsters were annoying, but this did not spoil the impression of the game, it is much better than the first part, I am more than satisfied

Mainly the pacing feels quite off, where some points in the game could have had way more time spent with them and less important points could have had way less time. People complain about the amount of cutscenes which is pretty funny, considering the game really has these cutscenes as rewards and it's not even that many, I think most of us were just killing stuff and leveling up our character just to see what happens next and it was really hard to do all of the side quest before doing the main story because I wanted to know what happened. I think the moral messages the story provides were phenomenal and it sucks people aren't really going to spend the time to understand them. The story was a bit messy and unfocused and the puzzle assistance was annoying, there was also a lot of unanswered questions we still have by the time the game was over with so much setup I felt like there could have been a bit more to it, but besides that the game is perfect in every other way, the characters are memorable and the voice acting is outstanding.    … Expand

    I like GOD OF WAR (2018) i thought it was great, but i wasn't really hyped for a sequel, even the trailers didn't hype me that much, i honestly thought the game was going to be bad. then the reviews came, everyone seemed to love the game so i thought "ok let's buy it" and so i did, i installed the game started it, and man oh man from beginning to the end i had a blast, the combat wasI like GOD OF WAR (2018) i thought it was great, but i wasn't really hyped for a sequel, even the trailers didn't hype me that much, i honestly thought the game was going to be bad. then the reviews came, everyone seemed to love the game so i thought "ok let's buy it" and so i did, i installed the game started it, and man oh man from beginning to the end i had a blast, the combat was badass, the story was awesome, the locations were beautiful, and Kratos is such a great character. I love everything about this game, well almost everything, there are moments in the story where the game slows down immensely even to a point where i was starting to get bored, luckily those moments aren't that often, but when you have to play those moments, you're gonna have a not so great time, at least in my opinion. But still this game is fantastic and i absolutely recommend anyone that has played GOD OF WAR (2018) to play this game you won't regret it.… Expand

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
