    No vale la pena gastar por esta nueva entrega, si jugaste la versión de 2018 no tiene caso jugar la nueva, gráficamente es lo mismo, nada nuevo ni aun en PS5, es un DLC de la versión de PS4. Realmente una tomadura de pelo por parte de Sony

    Me gustaban mas lo God Of War de antes, con los combos de remate y todo eso, eran mas sanguinarios, solo que los graficos para la epoca eran pocos, me gustaria muchisimo que en el proximo gow implementen eso que hizo los primeros Gow una Leyenda

    Mismo juego reciclado con gráficas más “bonitas” que lo que ya habíamos visto, si este es el camino que está tomando la industria deberíamos empezar a hacer presión, y lo de las ediciones “físicas” sin disco!!!! Pffff pésimo por parte de Sony!!

Too many bugs , great story and gameplay but the bugs are just killing my experience of the the game, one that I honestly cant get around is when after ragnarok im trying to go to Svartalfheim from any other realm but crates gets caught in what looks like a scene and I can t use any of the weapons, or even run, dying isn't a option and even restartibg to the previous checkpoint does not work.… Expand

    Linear. Nothing innovative. Worse story characters and fights compared to the first one. Drags on with melodrama and when you do get gameplay its mostly puzzles. Npcs give too many dialogue hints to the puzzles and the combat is repetitive.

    Go watch some gow3 gameplay with its musical score, blood and gore and compare this, you'll realize how utterly boring and tame ragnarok is. No blood splatter, blades feel weak, can't jump, music is stupid, enemy variety is minimal, even spartan "god of war" behaves like a gentleman, my grandfather used to be more fierce!!

    Underwhelming combat that is just God of war slightly better. Not innovative. Plays more like an interactive movie. Fortunately I enjoy the games story otherwise would have scored it lower.

    Great game but it ships incomplete. It's a single player game, I shouldn't have to download a day one patch. The version on the disk has progress ending, game breaking bugs. RIDICULOUS!!!!

    Amazing sequel. The game has improved every aspect that was before it. And they told a rather interesting story, without stretching it (the third part would definitely be superfluous here). And it seems that you get a perfect game, but there is one problem, because of which I give this rating. Where is the Ukrainian language? Why was the russian language added? It's only longer due to padding and bullet sponge enemies.     Pretty fun, a great story, but I could have just watched the cutscenes on youtube and walked away the same. The game plays like God of War 2018, with a few additions to the combat here and there. When I think about how much more fun I had playing (not watching) Elden Ring, GoW:R truthfully wasn't worth the $60 for me.

    The first few hours seems fine, afterward it gets worse and worse, too much useless story which should be in the side quest are in the main quest, this is a total waste of time, makes me only want to know the ending ASAP

My biggest gripe with this game is how characters speak, behave and swear like the most normal, distinctly modern people, with their divinity and unique existence as gods being almost completely ignored. Immortal gods are made to deliver some of the strangest, most casual lines like walking into someone's home and saying "Nice place." or complaining about their "moms" and how typical they are. Words like yep, yeah, kinda, sorta, pretty are used just like in the modern day. Odin is just a mafia boss who yells at the dwarves "hey, it's me, your whole economy is speaking to you!", completely ruining the immersion into the game.

    Casual writing can have its place to break the tension or as comedic relief, but in Ragnarok the villains, main characters and side characters all engage in this kind of dialogue, making everything feel constantly comedic.

    The graphics are gorgeous, the combat remains the same as in the previous game, and it feels like a Marvel AAA casual movie, rather than a videoGAME. A game this focused on dialogue and story leaves ultimately little of value when the writing is given so much importance over the gameplay, and it fails this much to boot.    … Expand

Last part of the game when Ragnarok starts he gives a speech to his group of avengers and felt really cringe, like most parts of the game. It's unfortunate that it's not like the old GOW and it's more a feel good **** movie. Now the positive, the fighting is good in this game and the visuels are ok. Now The bad part, the missions playing like Atreus was really Boring. The black gaint and other dude don't belong in this world it's not a 2022 Westworld city. Don't want all white people in a wakanda movie aswell. Breaks with the origin. GOW 2018 was more fun and less cringy parts, play that one but don't buy this game for 70 bucks. 4 out of 10 for me.

    The story was great the first time, but really who wants to play a game where the supporting character is a whiny teenager. Parents sure as hell don't and neither does anyone else. "waaah, you aren't listening to me...I know everything...I am going to do what I want." PTSD for parents and really who wants that **** especially repeated multiple times.    … Expand

Now we can move on to the review. As always I would like to start with the mechanics but there is almost nothing new in the game. The gameplay in the previous game was copied in the same way, just like the Assassin's Creed games, but there is a bad situation. In the previous God of War game, the fighting mechanics were sedate, although not very good. In the Ragnarok game, a faster gameplay was desired, but all the hitting feeling in the game was removed. There are only two new weapons in the game and its contribution to gameplay is just as minimal as any other weapon. Only Atreus gameplay remains, which is the part that saves this infamous game a little bit. Atreus has completely unique gameplay, I wish the whole game was played with atreus, it would at least be a mediocre game. Let's move on to the designs. There is not much innovation in the level designs, it does not have anything that will affect the gameplay or surprise you. As for the mission designs, there are side missions in the game, they are directly related to the story, but you know that the place of the story in video games is not important, the gameplay in the missions remains and there is no innovation. Different creatures and different bosses, but they don't add anything to the gameplay. We have come to the end of the review and Ragnarok is not a good game at all, unfortunately. Elden ring was the biggest debacle of this year, Ragnarok was the biggest disgrace of this year. The rating of the game is 35/100… Expand

    after playing GoW 2018 and rating it 10 this sequel was very disappointing. the handholding was so frustrating like let me figure out the puzzles by myself. the boss fights are disappointing and its titled Raganarok when in reality you only see and played against him for a short time. The cinematics are too long too.

    Ho giocato a tutti i gow apprezzando il gameplay dei primi,nella saga norrena il combat system a mio avviso assomiglia troppo a ninja gaiden.
    Adottando una visuale di gioco troppo vicino a Kratos ho riscontrato due problemi:la perdita della visione d'insieme dell'azione e un fastidiosissimo punto cieco dove i nemici non sono visibili.
    La narrazione, seppur con un magistrale doppiaggio in italiano, è forzatamente lunga,tediosa ed ampollosa( fatto amplificato dall'impossibilità di saltare i filmati)non ha saputo coinvolgermi, l'esplorazione dei vari mondi ben caratterizzati,risulta molto guidata su binari con livelli molto lineari.

I missed big chunks of story line because it was completely dry and maybe rushed. It got tiring of battle than puzzle repeat. I know that’s kinda the games thing. But change up some things. Kratos just seemed to give up any spirit of himself you should have just killed him off at the end. Playing as the kid, what’s his name again? Loki? Atraus? I was slugging through that boredom.     Lost and stuck in a fun house maze.
    The game looks so generic and similar that when I would take a 2 hour break and come back to it I was totally lost. Finally after 5 hours and stuck I said f this and quit.

    Selling the same game as "new" should be considered a scam, it doesn't innovate, it doesn't improve, it doesn't even provide a new gaming experience.
    It's so repetitive and underwhelming that Odin feels like Baldr with spells.

Why should we consider Odin as villain of the story? Others are constantly speaking ill of Odin while showing nothing of his wickedness. All the Asiers are depicted as evil and absolutely evil, and the audience is forced to accept their evilness. There are no gray characters among the Asiers. A predictable ending where Kratos fights Thor and Odin while contradicting the game's message of the need for peace and the condemnation of war.

    The story telling is really good, realisation perfect... ok some easy puzzles but the game is really really good ! I really enjoyed it on PS5.

    Awful. They made Kratos into a baby crying for his momma. 0/10, one of the worst games on the PS5. Awful voice acting and forgettable side characters. They should scrape the God of War series as it always sells 0 copies and no one likes it. The only way the next God of War could be saved is if they replaced Kratos with Jesus Christ.

    Overall, a disappointment. The current director is nowhere near as talented as the last one. Playinh as Atreus on GMGW mode is pathetic. I had fun for awhile, but this game does not have any replayability value. Its just an average game really.

    Same game as 2018 with a couple little things added, your typical repetitive Sony game that follows a safe formula. Your freedom in this game is very limited kinda like Uncharted where you can only climb on yellow painted ledges because Sony thinks we are too dumb to know where to jump.

Kratos in this game is very pathetic, he doesn't show anger at any point in the game. trailers promised a more bloodthirsty kratos for classic styles, but here half the game is followed by atreus. Kratos besides being excluded in the game doesn't really show an attitude of the classic games except in the Heimdall fight where the kratos really fights seriously in the game. the battles against the gods are horrible, it seems that we are facing just a common enemy of the game. and this question of kratos being nice to Thor instead of killing him is one of the biggest clichés I've ever seen, it sounds like the famous phrase "revenge is bad". but apart from 99% of all the crap in the game, graphics are the only thing that can save the game.… Expand

Built up certain things in the first game then did a complete 180 in the second. My all time favourite series turned to crap. No Valhalla??? 'Explore the 9 realms' biggest over statement of all times. 4 realms and a few side areas. Combat is a mess. side characters don't follow when they are meant to. Can be attacked during Kratos special attacks but cannot stop them to defend?? Inconsistent mess when attacking enemies, sometimes your moves will stun them other times they will keep coming? Makes it nearly impossible to plan a battle strategy. The only decent strategy is to avoid using special attacks.

    No Mjolner???? Yet it comes in the collectors/Jotnar edition. I feel genuinely ripped off.

    Finally I wanted to kill Odin and Thor. This was built up so heavily in 2018 and now we are just OK to forgive everyone? Atreus asks Kratos at one point 'is it always OK to kill those who are trying to kill you" Kratos responds 'yes'. But now we don't want to kill them? Thor's 'redemption arc' was so badly done. He was told to go with Atreus so now he's a good guy and we forgive him? it's just bad writing. Again, a 3rd game could have solved this. rushed.

    There is a lot of good in the game. If you just want more of 2018 (but less polish) more of the same plus a few new areas. it's fine. It's entertaining enough. But compare it to 2018 and it's a disaster. Even worse it's an intentionally designed disaster.    … Expand

    The one thing great about GOW 2018 was the combat. Somehow they messed that up. Emies who constantly spawn behind you or who spam attacks. So the enemy behind you spams an attack you have to block while the one in front forces you to dodge. And they like to juggle you. Bad game design all around. Story is ok.

Não, ele sabia que Kratos estava procurando a lança para matar Himdal, mas não avisou Himdal ou pelo menos não tirou chifre dele.
    Fenrir era um fantasma e não fez nada no enredo. Thor, o deus do trovão, foi morto por uma lança de um golpe e desapareceu: /
    Também o algoritmo de combate de Odin, Thor e até mesmo Himdal era pobre e ruim e não era criativo em nada.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
