    Amazing game, the story is a bit bland but the overall game is very much worth playing. The quality of life upgrades and the expansion are great. This is a must have for PS5 owners.

    The main game remains amazing, nothing to say more than that, you MUST play it. The DLC is pretty cool, it has new additions to exploring, fighting and to enemies. The new island is not that big, probably 3/4 of the first part of the main island and the new story is on avarage 8/9 hours long. None the less it's a great addition to an already great game. If you enjoyed GOT at lauch you willThe main game remains amazing, nothing to say more than that, you MUST play it. The DLC is pretty cool, it has new additions to exploring, fighting and to enemies.     고스트 오브 쓰시마도 물론 세키로와 함께 근접 타격감에 있어선 최강이라 호평받는 갓겜이었지만, 이번 고스트 오브 쓰시마 디렉터즈 컷은 근접 타격감은 물론 그래픽이 훨씬 더 진일보한 초갓겜이 된듯함.

    금나라 돌격기병대 괴자마(철부도), 고구려 개마무사처럼 말을 타고 적군들에게 돌격해 파괴시키는 돌진이나
    귀여운 고양이 등의 동물들이 등장한것도 귀엽고 좋았음ㅋ

    This is the best possible version for one of the best games of the last generation. The new island, new enemies, duelsense and 3D audio features, along with the real world feeling they captured is just incredible. It's a must play especially if you haven't played it previously.

    Never played the original, but having a blast with the new version. Story is solid (at least from the few hours I've played), combat is a blast, haptics may not be quite as good as Returnal but it still gets some use out of the controller too. Based on the negative reviews the biggest problem with this title is a company wanting to be paid for their work.

The 4k resolution looks beautiful on my OLED tv, its so beautiful in HDR. and those are just some of the ps5 improvements. its 60fps at 4k, amazing.

    If there is ONE REVIEW you can trust, I want you to put all your faith into me and take my word when I say this game is one of the best open world games ever and it’s well worth every penny you spend on it. The PS4 version was good, but the PS5 version takes this game to the next level. The sheer level of detail within the world such as the foliage, particle effects, character details, and just the overall diversity in the world is breathtaking.

    The controls are very responsive and the adaptive triggers are SO well implemented. Just traveling across a bridge or different form of terrain will change how the triggers react. You can feel every bit of pressure when you pull back on the bow. The soundtrack and voice acting is very good. NOTE: I played it with Japanese audio and English subtitles which is the way I highly suggest you play it. It made it more immersive and I found the Japanese voice acting to be really good. You can really hear the emotion in the dialogue even if it’s not your native language.

    Ghost of Tsushima made me put these incredible developers near the top of my list for favorite developers in the industry. Their previous works were good, I enjoyed all the Infamous titles and earned all the trophies for them, but Ghost of Tsushima is in a different universe in terms of quality and the love that has been poured into it is overwhelming. This game to me solidified Sucker Punch as some of the best in the business. Please support amazing developers, especially ones who you can tell poured their heart and soul into the game like they did on this one. I expected some fun combat, but what impressed me most was the amazing story and dialogue, especially the further you get into the game. I’ve literally played every game you can think of, but this game in particular impressed me the most with its story telling because I did not expect such a powerful and epic journey as the one you get in this game. The way the story unfolds and its discussion of Honor and how far will you go to stand by it even in a time when people don’t deserve it, is just so cool and a great idea for this setting. The code of the Samurai is Honor, and sometimes living by tradition or not evolving when the world around you is dishonorable can ultimately cost you everything. The Expansion ‘Iki Island’ is gorgeous and again, the story is massively impressive(especially towards the end), and it made me tear up. Overall, one of the best stories in an open world game, ever. Overall, Ghost of Tsushima ends up in my TOP 3 favorite open world games of all time. It cements itself with The Witcher 3 and the original Red Dead Redemption. I’m so thankful for these developers and this phenomenal game. Thank you so much Sucker Punch. If you’re reading this and you haven’t played it yet, GO BUY IT! It’s a must own for PS5.    … Expand

    Such a good game and now I get to play it at 60 FPS with a higher resolution and the load times, well there are none! The new DLC was amazing, definitely worth playing!

    Amazing game. Hardly any bugs, working well on my PS5. I was worried that waiting for an upgrade might not be worth it, but it is. I didn't play the game until the PS5 version came out, and I'm glad I waited. Worth the Full price

    I wish me dad could get games of this quality on gamepass. But sadly he can't. Xbox game studios don't have the talent. Another masterpeice from Sony's 1st party studios. This time with higher framerates, enhanced graphics, and whole extra Island to explore. Brilliant.

Said that, the game is amazing, it's a nice view to the Shogun japanese era, the rhytm in the game is very good with main quest perfectly mix with secondary quests.     Ghost Of Tsushima: Director's Cut is a phenomenal expansion to a masterpiece of a game. The PS5 Dualsense features and the new Iki Island expansion lets us explore both the land and the heart of Jin Sakai with more immersion and the combat improvements are also great. 100% recommend this game for both new comers and people should upgrade if they already own the game.

I purchased Ghost the day it came out for PS4 in July 2020 and ascended and experienced Jin’s journey as a samurai and as the Ghost. No story was as compelling as Jin’s, in my opinion, in a long time, and I have been gaming my entire life.

    Upon purchasing DLC (Director’s Cut) for Iki Island for my PlayStation 5, I kept checking to see when the game was downloaded, as I was eager to play and find out so much more about Jin’s story and his past. Finally, after what felt like forever (it wasn’t that long), I got to sit down and explore Iki Island. I played the story first, finished it in 3 hours and my God… I thought the initial story had me in my feelings, but the Iki Island story and tales had me cry more than once. It was so emotional, so captivating and just felt like I could feel everything as if I were Jin himself. I didn’t want to put my controller down not once. After completing the story I have explored Ikishima, still exploring to find other things I have yet to come across and complete other tales so I can indulge and dive more into Jin’s life and the overall story, and just overall, the scenic beauty is breathtaking and astronomically out of this world.

    The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are so much fun and make the game so much more personal. It’s not everyone’s favorite, but to each their own. I also love how the new duels and just battles throughout the island challenge me more than they did on Tsushima overall, especially when weapons are switched on you. It’s definitely improved my dueling skills and makes the game more fun, in addiction to the DualSense added features. The swords clashing, the way gallops from Sora (or whatever you name your horse) vary in feeling whether on rock or on land… Ghost of Tsushima’s Director’s Cut does not disappoint. I was weary at first of the price tag, but not opposed, as I loved the game so I was willing to throw down whatever for the extra content. I’m so glad I did.

    Sad to see many fanboys of other platforms trashing a game they’ve never even played. Ghost of Tsushima was one of the best titles of 2020 and it just got so much better. The new DLC is long and beautiful. Exploring the world was as fun and exciting as the first time. Thank you SP

    Incredible experience and a perfect stop-gap until we can play the full sequel. Great additions like the new Armors and Horse armor. Mythic tales and new duels. The antagonist is also different and interesting.
    The story in particular delves deeper into Jins backstory and is really great.

    Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, and Sekiro are definitely excellent in melee combat, sword fighting action, and hitting feel, but above all, each melee sword fighting battle motion is so cool that it feels like a real sword fight.

    I didnt play the previous release, so my rating is based on the game not the price...
    The game feels like a mix of assassin's creed and far cry, attacking outposts "Mongolian camps", running through the map to discover the side missions and fast travel points, dialogues are lame, characters are meh , gameplay is weird "its easy and complicated" you can finish the game with just using L1,    I didnt play the previous release, so my rating is based on the game not the price...
    The game feels like a mix of assassin's creed and far cry, attacking outposts "Mongolian camps", running through the map to discover the side missions and fast travel points, dialogues are lame, characters are meh , gameplay is weird "its easy and complicated" you can finish the game with just using L1, triangle and square in fights but if you want variety then its going to be complicated like pressing 6 or 7 buttons just to do a different move "or attack",,, Graphics are fine, story is fine... to sum up its not a must to play for me, but its good to try it     … Expand

    - All of the cutscenes are stiff, and the voice acting is kh3-level bad
    - No memorable OST's - Apart from Shimura, there are no interesting characters - Side missions are a chore to complete  - Only the first and last main missions are interesting    I've played these types of games thousands of times and they    - Combat was entertaining until act 2 onwards, then it became repetitive

    It was a great game on PS4 and now it's been updated for PS5... it's basically a game of the year edition if you buy it the first time or you can buy the upgrade which is basically your run if the mill DLC ordeal.     One of the best games on PlayStation. If you haven’t played the PS4 version, then you’re in for a real treat. If you have, then this is a wonderful experience to relive with haptics and upgraded graphics and performance. I recommend the Japanese voices! In this version they have the Japanese synced to their lips!

    Definitely one of the best looking games on the PS5. Nearly everything is top tier in this game except I find climbing pretty bad, the AI can sometimes be dumb and few other nit picks is why the game didn't get a 10 from me

    The addition of iki island makes this an already great game greater. Was surprised with the horse charging mechanic and its implementation. The visuals are topnotch. The new sarugami armor brings a new playstyle to the table. And did I mention the visuals? every few meters I'd stop in awe.

    Not worth the price. This game was never that great anyway. Some people have created this illusion, that this game is something super special, but it really isn't. It's just inferior Assassin's Creed clone (without parkour or good combat btw). Even Pewdiepie didn't finish it and he is huge Japan fan, that should say something.

    There's not much else to say here, just spend your hard-earned money elsewhere instead of dropping $30 for one of the laziest re-releases I've ever witnessed. From the overrated haptics, to the STILL broken A.I., it's very undeserving of its praises.

    An exceptional upgrade over the original that you only understand when you actually play the game . Absolutely mind-blowing graphics lots of quality of life tweaks no loading and plenty of new content makes this a complete package. 80% of people haven't played the game so ignore them

    I played it for 3 hours and got insane motion sickness, because character is not on center of screen. How hard is it to put character on center? GTA 5 is perfect example where you should put your playable character. I had awful experience with this game, so unless you like to play game where character is somewhere in the corner of the screen, i wouldn't waste my money on it.     Un relanzamiento mediocre... el juego tiene un downgrade visual a comparación de la versión de ps4 y no vale la pena pagar por eso.

    A final de cuentas es el mismo juego del año pasado, es un Assassin's Creed insípido y que se torna aburrido en jornadas de juego largas.

    Gráficamente se ve bien, pero es más por el estilo artístico que por la densidad gráfica en general.

    Buy the PS4 version please and just play it in 60fps same graphics back compat, great game, great experience but the $10 add up for PS5 is worse then a 0/10 because its anti consumer, adds nearly nothing and destroys the good will in the new generation.

    Vote with your wallets, dont buy into this $70-80 PS5 pricings and deffenitely not a PS4/PS5 price difference for the same game.

    Well done update for a great game. Lots of new content is complemented by a ton of new gameplay elements. More content was missing from the basic game, otherwise there was nothing to complain about. And now everything is fine. Reason to buy Playstation 5 if you don't already have one.

    Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut has improved the graphic of the game greatly. The newly added Iki Island brings new stories and challenges, and further extended the story background. For players who have already cleared the game, playing the Director's Cut version is still an unforgettable experience.

    It’s more of a regular DLC paired with some improvements for the PS5 rather than a true director’s cut. However, the developers do deserve praise for how skillfully they inserted the expansion into the narrative of the base game. The story about Jin’s past and the sins of ancestors is great (as opposed to boring side quests), new enemies pose a challenge, and the game as a whole shines on PS5’s more powerful hardware. I wish the visual improvements were more noticeable though. [11/2021, p.31]
