    Amazing game with amazing story, characters, music, gameplay with epic spectacles boss fights. Although the rpg elements have been toned down quite a bit i feel like everything else with high highs makes up for it. Overall it is fantastic and i love how this game caters to every type of gamers.

    Amazing narrative with well-realized characters and strong writing. Phenomenal production values in every aspect, from the visuals and cutscenes to the soundtrack and performances. Exceptional and addictive combat with numerous options that's easy to get into. Strong world-building and well-designed areas with hefty optional content.     Bad-
    Even with the day one patch, Performance Mode doesn't consistently hit 60 FPS. Select areas are a little too dark. Timely Support Accessories should be default accessibility features.

    Thoughts-
    There are a lot of big releases this year, with many still to come. Standing out requires more than delivering a game with the most content, the best graphics or the craziest live-service strategy. More than just pursuing trends, it’s about providing a memorable experience. In that regard, Final Fantasy 16 does more than stand out. It sets a standard for role-playing games to follow – a masterful culmination of a vision that many developers across several teams strove, through good times and bad for many years, to deliver. Final Fantasy means many different things to many people. With Final Fantasy 16, Square Enix delivers some of the best story-telling, combat, music, visuals and world-building in the series.     To put it simply, this game is nothing less than a MASTERPIECE! Some of the best combat I have ever experienced in a game, as well as the most amazing boss fights and soundtrack. And to top it all off, the cutscenes and cinematic boss fight features were amazing!! This is peak gaming and I recommend this game to everyone

    With people review bombing they have just shown that they have nothing else better to do but hate on something truly brilliant with their low IQ responses and trying to push their own unrealistic views on the game.     Amazing entry. Played every game since the 1st and this is one of the greatest stories of the lot. Yep it's different, but a shake up is good. The combat, characters, eikons (summons) and story are just first class. Congrats Square Enix, you completely delivered.

    Finally a really good singleplayer Final Fantasy game.

    - Epic and emotional story - You see cutscenes which is good, it always makes the game better - The storytelling is out of this world - Soundtrack is maybe one of the best in the series - Good graphics - Incredible gameplay mechanics - Its linear which is good for a jrpg, i dont want to explore empty worlds that doesnt respect    Finally a really good singleplayer Final Fantasy game.

    The only critic i have is that in performance mode there are some dips here and there.

    Action is the best.
    RPGs are the best.
    The open world was the best.
    In the second half of 2023, in the second half, Final Fantasy 16 and Lies of P are the most fun.
    The best games from June to September are Final Fantasy 16 and Lies of P.

    Great Final fantasy title. Story is well done. VA works is consistent enough that it keeps you drawn in. - Combat is far more than "2 buttons" that people clearly havent experimented with. Doing epic juggle combos with Torgal and swapping through 3 weapon types feels amazing.

    It's as epic as the series ever has gotten in ages! The music is absolutely incredible, followed by equally exhilarating fast-paced action combat, all tied up by an extensive lore, beautiful and breathtaking cutscenes and a gripping story! Again, the dualsense controller haptics implementation is masterfully done. All in all, it is a MUST BUY PS5 GAME!

    One of my favourite games ever made. It blends stellar action combat with fantastic writing, a well fleshed out world, captivating characters, and a banging soundtrack all wrapped up nicely with callbacks and references to previous titles to really make it scream "this is final fantasy!" My experience was completely bug free, but performance mode does suffer from frame drops at times. IOne of my favourite games ever made.     Mi puntuación real iba a ser 8 tirando a 9, pero debido a los t0nt0s de siempre me veo casi moralmente obligado a ponerle un 10.

    Es un FF que arriesga con el cambio en el estilo de combate, y le sale muy bien en mi opinión. Se sigue sintiendo como un FF a pesar de que el combate sea más un hack&slash y las mecánicas de RPG se han visto reducidas.

    I loved Everything about the game!( no the performance mode). The visuals are great with a cgi quality, great characters and Amazing story! All the references to others games of the series made me smile all the time. This is such a great game!

    Final fantasy XVI es sin duda un excelente juego, completé el juego y nunca tuve ni un solo problema con el sin mencionar que su campaña, jugabilidad y gráficos son excelentes.

    С детства питаю тёплые чувства к серии Final Fantasy и новая номерная часть вновь вернула меня во времена, когда я проходил FF XII на PS2. Оторваться практически невозможно.
    Невероятная работа сценаристов, головокружительный размах и экшен, великолепная музыка и боевая система прямиком из DMC.
    Из минусов отмечу плохо проработанные побочные задания, преобладание роликов над геймплеем и    С детства питаю тёплые чувства к серии Final Fantasy и новая номерная часть вновь вернула меня во времена, когда я проходил FF XII на PS2. Оторваться практически невозможно.
    Невероятная работа сценаристов, головокружительный размах и экшен, великолепная музыка и боевая система прямиком из DMC.
    Из минусов отмечу плохо проработанные побочные задания, преобладание роликов над геймплеем и медленное введение в боевую систему, от чего первые часы боёвка кажется очень однообразной и приходится тыкаться в квадратик.

    Спасибо Square Enix и Sony за одну из лучших игр года и одну из лучших видеоигровых историй. Такие проекты в наше время на весь золота, так что закрою глаза на недостатки. С нетерпением жду продолжение FF VII. Жаль только, что русских субтитров там не будет..    … Expand

    Final Fantasy XVI is an excellent game in every way. If you're a fan of the series for the stories and characters, you won't go wrong here, and if you've avoided the series for, say, turn-based combat, the sixteenth installment offers the perfect opportunity to get started with this legend of the gaming industry.     New numbered FFs are good again. Stunning to look at, with new, punchy combat, and a great yarn, it is, if anything, too focussed, lacking a bit of the weird. [Issue#30, p.78]
