    I was not expecting this game to be such a disappointment. It looks and feels like 2007 game. Textures and materials are bad what happened to the water? Animations are creepy. This should not be sold at any price.

    This game is tough to rate. I'd split it into two groups of players. For those new to the Far cry series you're in for a treat, a huge open world to explore, great gun play and engaging gameplay. For those who have played a Far Cry before, then you're looking at a reskin of a game you've already played. I became fatigued with this game after 5 hours in, which is a shame as i know there'sThis game is tough to rate. I'd split it into two groups of players.     This is a game I was so excited about. Just wanted to a simple far cry game where I can do some easy stealth, clear up outposts like a badass. They had to go and ruin the game with the whole respawning non-sense. Couldn't play beyond couple of hours

    The technology in "Far Cry 6" is very appealing and the animations of the different characters are always impressive. The environments are also varied and beautifully rendered. It is simply a lot of fun to drive or fly through the island. In terms of the story, we are presented with an interesting mix and can only remember many exciting moments.     A really solid game but I still prefer far cry 5, its ultimately brought down by all the downgrades and changes it has made to the formula and forced minority characters.

    You can now switch to every gun you own, you are not limited to just 4. However nobody told me that, so I didn't knew until half of the game discovered it by accident.

While fishing fish twice jumped in the tree and stuck there, I couldn't even hide fishing rode and unstack only when jumped into the water. Dead bodies always look like sock puppets. T-posed enemies often roaming around. Even Cyberpunk wasn't so bad, IMHO.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, I only played Far Cry 3 before playing Far Cry 6. Thus, I enjoyed the first 10 hours of the game. Especially because of the trigger effect of PS5. It gave another dimension to the game. However, I felt like I was still playing Far Cry 3. after 10 hours. I think the reason of this feeling is that The mission design is not good. There are like 4 or 5 different type of missions you will encounter during this game. The problem is you will face them a lot. You will be doing the same thing over and over again. For example, I needed to find a computer, then download the data (defend it while downloading) three times in a row in the main missions. In the third one, I was thinking this game is becoming boring. This is the feeling you will get lots of times due to lack of different type of missions.… Expand

    Overall I think this is a good game even with some failures.
    Pros:
    - Good tropical setting with nice graphic - Nice Weapons and a nice Supremo Weapon - Good end boss and a lot of good humor within the game - Amigos, totally love those pets Contra: - KI Spawns and way too many enemies. - Only third person in Camp (at least give us 3 person within a vehicle) - The story is ok but    Overall I think this is a good game even with some failures.

    I am actually quite impressed with the 6th release of Farcry. I think it is a lot better than its previous title. This release just feels more genuine and has a descent story line. They stay on track for the most part in Ubisofts 6th Farcry release. The other releases started to get rediculous. I believe in Farcry 5 you could travel to the moon.     Esse sistema de tipos de munições tornou o jogo fácil demais.
    Uma das coisas que eu mais gostava nos outros jogos era essa dificuldade, você tinha que se virar, arrumar um jeito de invadir os lugares e matar os inimigos sem fazer barulho. Pra isso você pode usar arcos, facas, takedowns e outras opções. Porém nesse jogo, agora tem um sistema de munições específicas, que possuem atributos    Esse sistema de tipos de munições tornou o jogo fácil demais.
    Uma das coisas que eu mais gostava nos outros jogos era essa dificuldade, você tinha que se virar, arrumar um jeito de invadir os lugares e matar os inimigos sem fazer barulho. Pra isso você pode usar arcos, facas, takedowns e outras opções. Porém nesse jogo, agora tem um sistema de munições específicas, que possuem atributos diferentes, e tem uma munição chamada "munição perfurante", que é EXTREMAMENTE apelona. A ideia seria uma munição que perfura armaduras. Porém essa munição mata qualquer inimigo se você atirar na cabeça dele. Ou seja, toda aquela magia de invadir, atirar com cautela, esconder corpos e etc, agora se transformou num jogo de sniper pra celular, daqueles bem ruins. Onde tudo que você precisa fazer é: detectar os inimigos com a câmera, destruir os alarmes, e atirar em todos eles de longe usando tua arma com silenciador e munição perfurante. Sem contar que a motivação pra completar a história é zero, você mais quer ficar zoando e fazendo missões secundárias do que, propriamente dito, matar o Antón. As missões de história são um saco, bastante repetitivas, sempre seguindo o mesmo roteiro: algum personagem com o qual você não se importa está preso em algum lugar, daí vc tem que ir lá, matar os soldados, e libertar o cara.

    Num geral, dei 7 pois amo essa franquia, a ambientação é MUITO legal, os gráficos não são de nova geração mas são muito bonitos, as side quests e colecionáveis são muito divertidos, principalmente um em que você precisa encontrar figuras espalhadas pelo cenário para abrir um baú, numa espécie de caça ao tesouro, seguindo pistas e pinturas na parede. A fauna é sensacional, tem todo tipo de animais, igualmente nos outros Far Cry.

    As armas de gambiarra são inúteis. O jogo fica o tempo todo te falando "o quão legais elas são, use elas, blablabla", mas você joga por dois segundos com elas e já volta a usar a droga do rifle com silenciador e munição perfurante, que mata qualquer inimigo em um único tiro. (quando digo qualquer inimigo, me refiro até àqueles cheios de armadura, que vc tinha que encher de flechadas nos outros Far Cry.)

    Enfim, recomendo mas que seja por um preço bom. Esperem promoções, ou pelo menos comprem a versão standard, pois jogo nenhum no mundo vale 420 reais (que eu, trouxa, paguei achando que valeria a pena ahushsusha)    … Expand

    I though the game was great. Haven’t played a far cry game since 3. Never had a single bug or crash on Xbox X. Game ran smooth, gun play was fun. Had a great time getting lost in the world for a couple weeks.

    I'm enjoying this game. Yes it's very much a Far Cry game but I feel like it delivers the most since Far Cry 4. Map is absolutely massive and there's several quality of life improvements to just let you play the game how you want.

    My last favourite Far Cry was 4 and feel like this one is somehow a bit less vibrant than how I remember 4. Other than that mostly what I expected.

    It is so repetitive it gets boring, every Far Cry game is almost the same one. Lots of bugs and I personally dislike this gunplay, specially after playing Call of Duty.

This game was a total backslide, if not the worst that the series has offered to date. I’m only glad that I now get to delete this from my PS5’s SSD drive and replace it with Ghost of Tsushima.     I got about 4 hours into the game and stopped playing the story dint grasp me enough and the gameplay style is getting old. Its just far cry again, this franchise needs a break from oversaturation.

    To be fair, I think the game is good.
    The story isnt perfect, characters seems off and there's bugs here and there.. But the gameplay is entertaining, and thats enough for me in this case. I have my laughs and have not yet gotten bored (~20 hours ingame).

J’aime bien les réactions à la première personne ( personnage parle quand on lui dit salut ).Mais on ne peut pas augmenter le personnage comme les autres far-cry. Les armes sont a chier, les animaux sa fais vraiment dur, aucune ressemblance avec les autres jeux. J’ai l’impression qu’ils ont mixé assassin creed et far-cry.     E estado jugando far cry 6 en ps4 y es muy bueno y divertido, no le doy un 10 por 2 razones, 1 la historia y 2 los bugs, la historia esta bien y es entretenida pero es muy simple y algunas misiones son de relleno, y menos de la mitad de los personajes son interesantes o tienen un desarrollo de personaje, lo mejor de la historia es Anton y Diego, pero personalmente pienso que tuvieron pocoE estado jugando far cry 6 en ps4 y es muy bueno y divertido, no le doy un 10 por 2 razones, 1 la historia y 2 los bugs, la historia esta bien y es entretenida pero es muy simple y algunas misiones son de relleno, y menos de la mitad de los personajes son interesantes o tienen un desarrollo de personaje, lo mejor de la historia es Anton y Diego, pero personalmente pienso que tuvieron poco tiempo en pantalla, en cuanto a los bugs, hay muchos que pueden ser muy perjudicaros, el peor que me a pasado es que el sonido de los disparos la música, la vos de los enemigos y las cinemáticas no suenan y esto me duro como unas 2 horas, pero todo lo demás esta bien.… Expand

    5-ая часть Дикий Плач и то интереснее и по сюжету, и по оружию.
    Супремо... Наркомания.

    As with most metacritic game reviews, this game isn't a 10 and isn't a 0. After 50 hours and beating it, FC6 is a solid 5. Pros:
    -World size is massive -Graphics are solid but not amazing -treasure hunts were awesome and I did them immediately when presented

    Cons:
    -VERY repetitive. Even for a FC game.
    -As someone who identifies as a lib, the politics in this game are very "16 year old read Karl Marx and made a video game about evil America and Capitalism v the righteous Revolution". It got exhausting and mind numbingly predictable.
    -Every prominent NPC was the same female caricature, skinned differently. (I played as femDani, so it was relentless).
    -removing the skill tree needs to be reversed as it had unintended, negative consequences, like making dark zone exploration worthless.
    -AI is so brutally dumb it made the game far too easy. Silently snipe a baddie and the others go on alert, but don't sound an alarm. -Gun choices are restricted to silenced, heavy hitting, distance weapons. Almost impossible to play close quarters due to random respawns.

    Ubi has lost their way. Valhalla suffered from much of the same problems. The first 10 hours are fun but then you realize you beat every mechanic and it became and exercise of identifying which mechanic you were facing for the next 40 hours. А эти ретро машины просто кайф. Единственное, что мне не понравилось это женщины в армии ДИКТАТОРА. И в кат-сценах можно было сделать получше графику. А в целом мне игра понравилась… Expand

First 1/3 into the game was great… then BORING. Such redundant missions over and over again with 0 plot development. I had to replay far cry 3 to get the taste out of my mouth.     gioco pessimo ,ma il più grande errore è stato la mancanza del doppiaggio italiano, trovo vergognoso da parte di ogni casa produttrice di videogiochi che nel 2021/2022 non implementare il doppiaggio italiano considerando anche che il mercato italiano è uno dei più grandi in europa e nel mondo, su progetti che vengono a costare milioni non doppiare significa insultare un mercato che tigioco pessimo ,ma il più grande errore è stato la mancanza del doppiaggio italiano, trovo vergognoso da parte di ogni casa produttrice di videogiochi che nel 2021/2022 non implementare il doppiaggio italiano considerando anche che il mercato italiano è uno dei più grandi in europa e nel mondo, su progetti che vengono a costare milioni non doppiare significa insultare un mercato che ti supporta ma che adesso non lo farà più ,perchè in italia qualsiasi persona che ha aquistato far cry 6 dice che non comprerà il seguito senza doppiaggio ,basta vedere anche le altre critiche su questo sito… Expand

    As a big fan of Far Cry, i was very disappointed with this installment. Dull story and majority of it has a boring atmosphere. A huge map but still so empty i found. Loads of customization with weapons, gear, vehicles etc, but a been there done that feeling. The main villain i had high hopes for but didnt impact on first appearance.

Compared with the rabid narcissism of Min; the anarchistic brutality of Vaas and the unnerving psychoticism of Seed; the script keeps Anton at arms length from the player. His lieutenants are equally one dimensional and while the same could be said about the Seeds, FC5 presented them in an interesting manner and gave insight as to why they were as they were. The best I can say about the lieutenants of Anton are that they are a**holes and not much more. I am through a third of the game and there is no personal connection to Anton with the main character and no personal stakes involved beyond 'Anton bad - kill everything red'. Far Cry 3 - 5 conveyed everything through the eyes of the player character, forcing the developers to add a personal element to everything they saw and did. Sometimes it got contrived (how many times did the deputy get kidnapped in 5, for example) but threats and danger felt real. 6 does everything through third person cutscenes which is jarring from previous titles and feels cheap as Dani is undeveloped as a character. Any ethical dilemmas surrounding the production and sale of 'Viviro', a miracle wonder drug that can cure cancer, is completely side stepped, as is also why a regime with seemingly endless resources has to resort to unprotected slave labour in its lethal production (notes in the game say that slave labour is necessary to keep production going rather than just a useful means of removing dissidents).

    Gameplay wise much of the map feels empty and pointless. Esperanza, the largest city in a Far Cry game, seems empty and destitute of life. There are entire 'off limits' areas in the main campaign with no guards or missions involved, making you feel like you have gone somewhere the game did not expect you to go or that it was broken. There also appears to be a lot less wildlife than previously. Hunting certain game seems resigned to set areas and as a result the crazy randomness of previous Far Cry games seems lost. The game so far is also incredibly easy, even on 'gamer mode' to the point where I have gone in guns blazing, just to have a sense of challenge. The game is set up for co-op play (and encourages it), however I fail to see what joy it would bring as the missions are blazingly easy and straightforward. Resource gathering for settlement improvements was fun at first but this is quickly becoming a chore and acts as a brake on the pace of the game as you ferret out every piece of metal and rubbish. Money is difficult to come by however if you sniff out every cache as you go, you will quickly receive most of the weapons that are available in stores. So in-game currency is split into resources (weapon modifications and settlement upgrades - desirable) and pesos (buying weapons - unnecessary). There are now two systems where one would have worked just fine. On a positive note the variety of weapons and modifications have been expanded on and there is a wide variety of customization with not just the look of your weapons but their feel and abilities. The most critical modification for any weapon is whether you have soft-tipped rounds or armour-piercing rounds. Weapons with soft-tipped rounds are useless against armoured enemies and as a result you MUST have at least one weapon with AP rounds 'attached', forcing you into a certain playstyle. The inventory menu is also a mess.

    I am a third through the game and looking further into the main story, I do not see anything really enticing me to play the rest of the game. Nothing develops with Anton's son, or Viviro or Anton himself and so I have to wonder why these elements were even included in the first place besides just feeling like placeholders for a setting where you shoot people. Far Cry 6 feels like a regression from previous titles in terms of environment, writing and action.    … Expand

    It's more Far Cry... So it's fun.

    Pros:
    - The two Castillos and Dani are amazing
    - Memorable cutscenes with the Castillos
    - Backpacks are great
    - Better action than ever

    Cons:
    - Most characters are forgettable
    - Not enough replayability
    - Too much fan service and almost no innovation
    - Worse stealth

The base game does have climbing mechanic issues that really don't make sense. I love the base game, and purchased the DLC. OMG disappointment beyond belief. I was honestly looking forward to playing an open world game in the dlc from the baddies perspective. From far cry 4 onwards in main games you can approach the game like a head on tank shooting away and using your proximity explosives molotovs or getting a good sniper with silencer and approaching areas from stealth. I get why an arcade style experience works for some. I like taking on an area from stealth. the DLC 1 and 2 well this dynamic is absent. And lets be fair here it seems every shot taken at me hits. Utterly ridiculous. I'm really disappointed. Came back to FC6 dlc after completing cyberpunk. I hope dlc 3 returns to what is good about far cry or this will be the last time i buy dlc. FC6 has a beautiful massive sandbox of Yara where being the bad guy would be awesome. Yet we are forced into surreal characters heads who are already dead. Dani could have been made El Presidente and we could have experienced his/her unwillingness to take the lead in the aftermath of a dictators demise. Yet we get the mess that is Vaas and Pagan. I did manage to complete vass in 2hrs30 mins on easy. Pagan after realising i was playing the second pile of crap i didn't enjoy with Vaas i turned off and won't be going back. Fingers crossed dlc 3 plays like the FC i have come to love over the years. I do have FC 3 knocking about here somewhere. Might have to dust off the ps3 until March. Please let the last instalment make the season pass worth the money and the wait.....… Expand

    Though the game is a bit repetitive and prioritises humour over grit there would be fun to be had here. However, even after the most recent update (1.08) enemy outline bug still persists rendering the game pointless, for me. I can only compare it to doing a jigsaw puzzle with someone telling you where all the pieces go.

Once you get your "long" headshot down and learn to disable alarms, the game gets easier to complete objectives. The autosave works pretty well, but an explicit save would be nice. I have a PS5 and the graphics look at least as good asI've enjoyed the previous two Far Cry games and played them to completion. Far Cry 6 has tons of things to do and will definitely keep you busy and engaged. Once you get your "long" headshot down and learn to disable alarms, the game gets easier to complete objectives.     Il gioco non si discosta molto dai precedenti capitoli, anche se mostra evidenti migliorie sul comparto tecnico. Inizialmente la mancanza del doppiaggio in italiano poteva sembrare una grossa pecca, alla fine invece, il gioco regge bene comunque, ribaltando quello che poteva sembrare un limite al gioco e portandolo a diventare un piacevole punto di forza

    Good game. I don't understand people who underestimate their ratings. Want to say the previous parts were better in terms of gameplay graphics? No. Here I was especially pleased with the world, quests, graphics, plot. Everything is at a high level. I play on ps5.

    After giving up on the crappy Call of Duty series, worn every year, with each title released, more of the same Far Cry and Bordalands will become my favorite first-person shooter series, however I recognize that Far Cry 6 is far from being the best of the series but one thing it continues to have the fun factor and it's not boring and good for co-op play

    I will start with the major issue I have with the game, the gear system. Switching out your gloves for another pair you will then lose the ability to carry this out and this goes across all of the abilities that could just be used as normal in previous games which really restricts what you can do at one time, like drawing the enemies sidearm after a stealth execution to immediately take out another nearby enemy, in the previous games you can decide to either pull the grande pin or draw the side arm in then moment but now it depends on what gloves you’re wearing.

    This limitation applies to all aspects of abilities from previous games like reload speeds, running speeds, defence against fire, airborn takedowns, chain stealth executions and so much more.

    Ammo types as well, this also greatly restricts your ability to take out certain enemy types. If you’re using armour piercing ammo against enemies not wearing armour they will take 20+ bullets just to take them out which just ruins the flow of combat.

    These issues are arising across all of ubisofts games as they seem to be trying to turn all of their franchises into open world RPG’s, however these games just do not suit the RPG game design and it takes away what made these franchises great to begin with.

    Grinding for loot, XP and fighting over levelled damage sponge enemies is not what made Ubisofts titles so special and now it has ruined them in my honest opinion. This goes for Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon and Far Cry. They all follow the same RPG open world design now and it just sucks.

    Please for the love of god just give us an authentic FarCry experience without loot grinding, awfully baked in RPG mechanics and bloated open world activities. Basically, just give us a modernised FarCry 2 or 3.    … Expand

    Just far cry 5, but better mechanics. Still the game is pretty bad. Very low replay value. The "hardest difficulty" isn't even hard. Anton is a better villian than Joseph, but at the same time Anton is played by giancarlo. Basic ubisoft game 7/10

    Do not buy this game!!! Buy Far Cry 5 or 3 instead. This game is literally a carbon copy of Far Cry 5, made worse because of no perks, no crafting, and only suits giving you power.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. با سلام . خلاصه بگم بازیش واقعا برای من اوایلش خوب بود فقط بعدش کل معموریتای اصلی شدن فرعی و این یک اجبار بود برای تموم کردن بازی و به شدت حوصله سر بر شده بود طوری که تا یکی دو ماه سمت بازی نرفتم و فقط بعدا برای گرفتن پلاتنیوم تروفیش یه سری زدم دوباره که بعدش بازم حالم بد شد از سیستم مبارزات و داستان و پشیمکن شدم باز کل معموریتای اصلیکه عملا فرعی بودن در گرفتن کامیون ازاد کردن یه بابایی بعدش خراب کردن بیلبورد خلاصه میشدن و ی چیز خیلی بد که گند زده بود تو گیم پلی این بود که کاراکتر اصلی بازی ضد گلوله بود و من تو طول بازی یک بارم سر موقع مبارزه و .. نمردم و فقط سر باگای بازی که یهو با ماشین داریم میریم و ماشین میوفته داخل زمین و یهو کاراکتر میمیره یعنی ماشین یاگ میخوره و میره داخل زمین و یهو هیچی میمیریم واقلا کلا بگم مبارزات افضاح و هیچ چالشی مداشت مخفی کاریم که نگم یهو طرف صورت ش اونطوربه اونور دنیاس یهو میفهمه اینا هم بیخبر از دنیا میفهمن و گند میشه تو همه چیز . با تشکر این بود انتقاد من از این بازی مثلا شاهکار برای خیلیا… Expand

    Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
