    If you like Far Cry, It's good. If you don't like Far Cry games, don't buy it.

    A side note:

    A lot of the negative reviews for this game are like someone that doesn't like chicken wings reviewing chicken wings. These wings taste the same as the last wings. Some people just like wings.

    Far Cry 6 smooths over a lot of the bumps that have cropped up in the past few games and even though it misses some steps, especially with its new inventory system, it's the best the series has been in years.

    Been playing this game a lot since to came out and I have enjoyed most of it. To start as usual the early game content is the best with the game calming down after 7 hours and picking its self up near the end. This has definitely been the most fun I’ve had with Far Cry since 3, with 5 being very disappointing because of them removing many features.

    This game brings back a voice actor for your character and cut scenes. That make the story more interesting . Talking about the story it was good, very predictable at times but had a nice conclusion at the end. The gameplay was normal far cry. This game added a new type of weapon type called supremos this is a weapon that you get to use once every while and can take down many enemies in one use.

    Despite the bad evaluation of many people, I decided to try this sequel. I have to say that the game is great - a lot of fun in a mega environment. I appreciate cool weapons, and many innovations in the game world. Great that I was not discouraged and discovered a perfect game worthy of recognition. It is primarily a fun ride full of activities and exploring. I recommend trying it.

    The studio. That worked on this game improved on every aspect of the game and made it better instead of changing the formula and making it unfamiliar or taking its identity.     Don’t believe the Peeps giving bad scores for this game, most are crying about the graphics, but for me on the ps5, the textures are amazing, and very detailed. Far cry 6 offers a familiar, yet amazing taste that we have come to familiarize ourselves with Ubisoft titles.     Far Cry 6 has arrived, with a bigger, badder and better open world to explore, original custom-made latin songs (and weapons!) and with the most badass villain there can be, Gus Fring from Breaking Bad, Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo. The game has very nice visuals and gameplay, fun for everyone looking for the GTA experience in a country like Cuba. A couple bugs here and there,Far Cry 6 has arrived, with a bigger, badder and better open world to explore, original custom-made latin songs (and weapons!) and with the most badass villain there can be, Gus Fring from Breaking Bad, Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo.     The backpacks are a nice addition,
    the map is beautiful and tropical again.
    The animal companions are funny af.

    I'll give it a 10 to negate the ridiculous low scores. It's a far cry game, does what it says on the tin, nothing more nothing less. I've had loalts of fun with it so far, especially with the resolver weapons, and the dog chorizo is worth getting the game alone

    This game is not a 0 out of 10 like people give, which is just stupid. Its 8 out of 10 but i need to give it a 10 to com0ensate for the stupid reviews. This game is a fun open world forst person shooting like most past far cry games. I even think story is better. If you want more of that, then go for this game and youll have a good time. The world looks beautiful too.

    So many socialist **** identity politics which lowers the score for me. Story was just ok. Guns were dope. So many women protagonists. Always seems like they just want men to disappear or become weak and killed off. Very sexist.

    I wouldn’t normally give this game a 10, but the review bombing taking place because there isn’t Italian audio is utterly ridiculous. Try speaking Mandarin! Maybe 5% of games have a Mandarin dialogue and you don’t see any review bombing when A GAME MADE IN THE US doesn’t have Chinese dialogue. Just read the subtitles like the rest of us and get over yourselves…
    So with that being said for myself personally this game has been a 8/10 so far.    … Expand

    This is the best Far Cry so far. Level of design, flexibilty, multiple approach is incredible. Environment is simply incredible, like the change up having a city and then having palms and seaside. Far Cry 3 has definitely been surpassed. Best things are different weapons,trinkets and the whole system of Right tool for the right job.

    It's certainly the best far cry game to date, but not devoid of the series tropes. Might be hard to get into if you've played every previous entry.
    Though rating it on It's own ignoring past titles It's a fantastic game. Also female Dani is hot.

    Its already looking great, i love it, it’s still a far cry but oh damn it’s a good one, In the first minute of gameplay I was hooked, the animation are good, the story and vilain are awesome, fidelity fx makes the game playable on my Rx 580 at 70 fps ! !

Somebody wrote that it was impossible to sneak around, and assassinate whole camps. It's not.     When I played the first 10 hours, a phrase came to my mind: "You see, I’m a guy of simple tastes: I enjoy dynamite, and gunpowder, and gasoline!". Yes, Joker, that is what Far Cry 6 - chaos, fire and black humor!

    Enemies are now smart, they have tech, they have machines, and the harder you push, the harder they push back. Dynamic enemy levels system makes the game universal: don't wanna do secondary missions? Okay, play the main scenario, and the enemies will be nice and quite. Wanna challenge? Give it 100% completion and it'll feel like hell.

    The world became more complex: there are hidden trails, open roads, blockposts, air defense guns, mines, stretch grenades, camps - it all have its meaning, value and works for fun. Guns and customizations system is huge, complex and, what is the main item, it works.

    I suppose there is no need to mention characters, scenario and beautiful, full of interesting events world - it's something we have in all Far Cry games.

    So, in a couple of words and without spoilers, that's it. It's the best Far Cry ever, it gives a lo-ot of emotions, fun and even things to think about. 10/10    … Expand

    This may very well be Ubisoft's best effort in quite a long time. Great character design and acting, fantastic gameplay, amazing customizations, and (so far) I've witnessed literally only one glitch (a coffee/tea kettle floating low over a fire.

    One thing to know about Italy is that its schooling system is archaic and incompetent. As such, learning and understanding another language in addition to their mother tongue is utterly incomprehensible for Italians.     As far as the game goes, it's a fantastic piece. Beautifully done as always. Of course there's some issues I have with NPC fighting and does lack some of the cool things as the prior far cry games but all in all....worth the money. Oh and the story is FANTASTIC    … Expand

    Having actual weather may be a first in the series and it looks and feels phenomenal.
    While at first the idea of different ammunition for various enemies worried me, it didn't take long before I was embracing this New gameplay aspect. Once I started Resolving (Upgrading) weapon's, I really started to enjoy the New direction in combat. AI feels a lot more responsive now and not so mindless as in previous Far Cry game's (Except 2).
    AI won't just directly attack you and they will even give you fair warning if you're approaching somewhere you should not.

    Now the game actually took me 10 hour's to realise there was a store where you could buy in-game currency, the reason being that there is just so much to do and find already in the game. The amount of weapon's, vehicle's and clothes far exceeds any previous Far Cry game.
    When we talk about Far Cry 2 we often praise it for it's incredible physics and gunplay. While the physics still haven't reached Far Cry 2 level's on 6, I can still say for certain they're the best physics since Far Cry 2. The game is a blast to play, gunplay does feel great and driving the vehicle's is a lot of fun.

    Now to point out some console exclusive Pro's that really make this game shine.
    The dualsense haptics and especially the adaptive triggers on the PS5 are amazing.
    Guns feel like they have weight with each trigger pull, and so do vehicle's with their handling and acceleration. Downsides have been screen tearing on the PS5 and rare frame-drops.

    Personally I didn't think I would like this game, it had all the Red flags of just another Far Cry game.
    But the truth is that it is just incredibly fun, the map design is one of Ubisoft's best.

    It's evident that many of us wanted to see a gritty return to that Far Cry 2 style, but the truth is this may be the best mix of Far Cry 2 and 3 that we could get.
    With the huge amount of option's to tweak your gameplay style I really cannot see anyone not enjoying this game.

    Most of the negative talk surrounding this game tends to be from people that haven't actually played the game.
    I can attest to the fact that until you're in control of the game yourself, you really have no idea how fun it is.
    And isn't fun what we're ultimately looking for? We shouldn't put down a good game just because it is not the game we expected.

    Don't listen to the naysayers or listen to the Italian review score bombers - this is a very fun game, in a compelling world. My only gripe is that they did not do enough of the non-violent aspects of revolution (this could have benefited from more hearts and minds, UN inspections etc), but for what it is, it's pretty much the best the Far Cry series has to offer.     A fantastic Fry Cry game and in my opinion, the best far cry to date with a very strong villain, excellent voice acting across the board, and a beautiful vibrant world to explore and destroy. It’s simply a blast. Highly recommended.

    Das war wieder ein geiler, wilder Ritt. Einfach Kopf frei kriegen, drauf los ballern oder stealthen. Hatte wieder meinen Spaß damit. Die Special und abstrusen Waffen habe ich so gut wie nie genutzt. Als Tier nur den Hund. Und halt so Standard-Waffen. Karabiner, Sniper und Pistole. So hab ich mir selbst ein nicht zu übertriebenes Spiel geschaffen.

    4 - The map is huge. I'd say it's one of the larger maps ever in a Far Cry game and there are several ways to navigate the map. Won't spoil them for you. There are dozens of unlockables and vehicles to discover. Dozens of weapons as well (more than any previous Far Cry game)

    Conclusion: This is a great Far Cry game and I want to encourage the developer by giving them a score of 10. They deserve it. They polished the game, put a lot of effort to diversify the missions, and kudos for that.    … Expand

I have encountered zero bugs/glitches other than two minor sound issues and I play on Ultra settings with everything turned up. Some things they could have done a little better - the Machete kills seem a little too outrageous, they could have tuned that down. Also when you sell items, we don't need it count "3 pesos" at a time, when you sell 100-200 worth of pesos, you get a lot of UI counters, that felt tedious. Also, let us choose X to sell instead of "all" or one at a time. Lastly, the AI. Look, this game is "beer & pizza," it's not a AI masterclass and the franchise never was, the enemies generally follow a noise, and you will do a lot rip & run; things turn into a madhouse. If you've always enjoyed that, you'll enjoy this on a huge map scale. If you like co-op with your buddy as the gunner and you're just having a laugh tearing up the countryside, you'll enjoy this. It's a rock n' roll romphouse, not a symphony. If you want an amazing literary story, go read a book that won a Pulitzer -- this is a video game where you have a jet pack, hello. Enjoy.… Expand

    Increible Graphics (at least on ps5),quite solid story, enormous map with lot of things to do and feels alive. Execellent gunplay and compannions (chorizo, guapo). IA should be much more advanced in a 2021 game, physics are not bad but could be way better like in Far Cry 2. It’s worth 70$? Yes

    I love this game. It's as simple as that. I understand that a lot of gamers are tired of the same old stuff for a Farcry game but I only joined this Franchise right before FC5 after playing Primal. Besides some muted looking cutscenes this was a super fun game and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Far Cry 6 is very good although similar to past far cry games the story is great. If you liked 3,4,5 you’ll definitely like 6. The only problems I had with this game was some screen tearing here and there but altogether a great game.

    maybe its just the island setting but i had a blast, i was so bored during far cry 4 and 5. and those settings were terrible. this is my 2nd fav far cry after 3. but yes the game is very same same as all far cry games. some new additions were good. looked great at 4k with 60fps. at least it worked at release unlike some games these days. story was kinda meh tho.

    Definitely one of my favorite games in the series. Story took some interesting, yet somewhat predictable twists but, all in all, if you are a far cry fan, you'll enjoy yourself with this one.

    I really enjoy the game despite it being not really innovative. Graphics are beautiful and I really enjoy the overall side and main story.

    Seriously was surprised by how much fun this game is. After 5 hours or so it starts to be more of the same, but I think this game was made to be played in breaks. When I come back to it, it’s the same amount of fun as when I started. Graphics could be slightly better on PS5 but everything runs smooth. Worth a buy!

    To give you a better idea of what the game is like to play… it’s just like Ghost Recon Wildlands without some of the gadgets and teammates. Has the same feel of that game, especially when you get the best weapon in the game. Ton of fun. It’s be nice if the story was longer/islands had more quests. But still a lot of fun. Some of the quests are riffs of GTA missions or Red Dead missions and they don’t come off as original but it’s the gameplay that works. The story is just good enough.

    Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
