    I don’t get the Wiz, if you buyed the game because you liked the prior games, than you good. It’s not a revolution of far cry and I think that’s good. If you buyed the game because of the Hype than I’m sorry for you, cause the story is not 70€ worthy

    I really liked Far Cry 5 but this just didn’t do it for me. The problem is that i expected more from this game. It just feels like any old Far Cry game and isn’t really that innovative. The quests are pretty boring and repetitive in my opinion and the whole game just isn’t really exiting. The game has its good things but overall it just didn’t do it for me. Not bad but not great either.

    The gameplay is amazing I can't get enough of it, I've put 60 hours in so far and I am on my second playthrough.

    I would of give a 9 if Ubisoft wouldn't of put culture war politics in some missions "smash the patriarchy" etc.
    I play games to escape reality not be pestered by billion dollar companies run by men talking about the patriarchy, it's pathetic. Leave it out next time

    This is a classic Far Cry game. I think that it's definitely better than the last one so i recommend. If you like these types of games they are a good game, but if you don't like it don't buy it.

    Majority of the negative reviews are people just saying "Stupid missions, stupid game". Just letting you know. It's a repetitive game series just like GTA for example.

    After getting platinum (100%) in this game I can say its a 7 at best. Story is pretty bland and boring, parts where it starts to pick up or get hype just die in the next mission and the ending was underwhelming, it felt like I didn't accomplish anything. Out of the many outfits there is I just used the parkour one because I just felt like a slug without it. Swimming felt slow and I meanAfter getting platinum (100%) in this game I can say its a 7 at best. Some sidequest were pretty fun and make references to movies and other games. Treasure hunts were the most fun part of the game really enjoyed all of them wish there was more. Characters apart from Dani and the Castillos are pretty forgettable. Did I have fun? Yes. Is it worth exploring the whole map for easter eggs, secrets or 100%? No.… Expand

As a person who poured 46 hours in the game and still gonna continue for platinum trophy, its not amazing but its good. Story is very interesting but there are some things I found bad in the game which lowers some of the score I am

    -Fun Mechanics
    -Some of the guns are fun to use
    -If your a platinum trophy hunting, its worth it. Has really easy achievements.
    -Boomer from Far Cry 5 is in it which is amazing.
    -Has Cockfighting Game which is really fun to play
    -There are some fun vehicles to use.

    -[Cons]-
    -Some of the animations like climbing feel janky, does not feel smooth at all.
    -You are constantly seeing the same enemy over time.
    -The parachute is very annoying, if you pull it when close to the ground, you sometimes unexpectedly die when you are suppose to live.
    -There are shading glitches I have noticed
    -I feel like when you talk to a NPC to get a mission is kind of a let down, the way it pops up a screen and you look at text, and press accept quest instead of just a simple cutscene, idk.    … Expand

    Très étonné du bashing des joueurs, cet épisode n'apporte pas grand chose à la série mais le plaisir de jeu est intact et l'immersion fonctionne à merveille.     I have played every single farm cry game, and while far cry primal is my favorite, far cry 6 definitely is up there. I love the culture behind it, the little side missions, and the story as a whole.

    I found the game really fun. Setting and story were interesting and the gameplay was pretty solid. I love how you can play co-op for most of the game too. I haven't played a far cry game since 3, and to be fair not much has changed, but for what it is it's a solid game. Definitely worth full price you'll get many hours out of it.

    Для меня эта часть лучшая в серии потому, что геймплей лучший в серии, сюжет чутка хуже чем в 3 и 4, но лучше чем в 5, кубинский сеттинг понравился больше чем в 4 и в 5. Особенно грустно что следующая часть серии скорее всего будет онлайн игрой без сюжета(Для меня эта часть лучшая в серии потому, что геймплей лучший в серии, сюжет чутка хуже чем в 3 и 4, но лучше чем в 5, кубинский сеттинг понравился больше чем в 4 и в 5. Ubisoft has got a perfect recipie for these games, and some people want innovation and new gameplay mechanics, which in my opinion brakes the games, a good example being the AC series from Origins to Valhalla.

    Wish I had waited a couple of years to play this, when it was included as part of bargain bundle in the discount section. So many of the best parts of previous Far Cry games have been pruned or are simply missing. Even flying aircraft has been dumbed-down to the point the physics don't make any sense. I told myself I'd never buy another Ubisoft game after pathetic AC Valhalla besides Far Cry games because I really enjoy them. To my horror, I realised they took every fun aspects of the Far Cry series and replaced them with similar things that made me hate the new gen ACs. Enemies have weaknesses,I don't usually review a game before finishing it but I'll make an exeption for this one. I told myself I'd never buy another Ubisoft game after pathetic AC Valhalla besides Far Cry games because I really enjoy them. To my horror, I realised they took every fun aspects of the Far Cry series and replaced them with similar things that made me hate the new gen ACs. Enemies have weaknesses, YOU CAN'T HEADSHOT KILL STRONGER ENEMIES, and there are no skill trees anymore. Game looks straight up ugly, is buggy, has a boring story with uninteresting side quests and has shameless in game microtransactions. I'm done with Ubisoft, they have everything they need to make masterpieces but they prefer shortcuts and money, they won't have mine anymore. I'd give the game a 5 but since almost every single game they released in the last 5 years are awfuly boring, repetitive and basicaly the same thing with different skin, I'll give Ubisoft a big 0.… Expand

    Puh mal wieder typische Ubiformel. Langweilige Story, langweilige Nebenmission. Das Gunplay ist gut, das Gameplay nach 1 Stunde schon ausgelutscht. Genau so wie das letzte Ghost Recon, stupide immer das gleiche und das Stunden lang auf einer riesigen Map. Nur einige Charaktere sind teilweise interessant gezeichnet. Optisch ist die Welt okay, aber von Nextgen weit entfernt.

    Absolutely Best Far cry game. I love that you can upgrade your gear. I love the huge open world and it's just rewarding to explore the whole world because you can find gear or resources. There are so many awesome weapons, only the clothes are not mine, I mean when you're a general and have to wear dirty clothes, hmm I don't know it don't make sense. I really like the story and theAbsolutely Best Far cry game. I love that you can upgrade your gear. I love the huge open world and it's just rewarding to explore the whole world because you can find gear or resources. There are so many awesome weapons, only the clothes are not mine, I mean when you're a general and have to wear dirty clothes, hmm I don't know it don't make sense. I really like the story and the characters. The female version of Dani is much better. Quest design and combat is very good. Really I can't understand this bad ratings.     This game is so boring. This game is way too long. This game is too easy. This game's open world is too big and empty. The boss fights are literal **** So i enjoyed this game even though it is not good because i have a monkey brain which likes gun shoot head dead games. Do not buy it buy far cry 3.

    What a wicked game. So glad I finally grabbed this I cant get enough. Well worth the money I got the disk version for 30 bucks. Unreal how big and how much stuff their is to do. I never played Far Cry before so this is an amazing experience for me. It's usually very hard for me to find a game I like highly recommend

    Toujours la même recette depuis Far Cry 3. Il serait temps de miser sur une prise de risque plutôt que de sortir toujours le même open world générique. Certes le dépaysement est toujours au rendez vous, mais c'est comme ci on proposait toujours le même repas, mais chaque jour avec un nouvel ingrédient. Cela reste le même repas.

    In my opinion, it is not as bad as the kind of hate it gets. I enjoyed my time with it. Though it is not on the level of Far cry 3 but still those were an enjoyable 35-40 hrs.

    1. Fluid 4k60 on PS5 except in cutscenes 2. Guns are a joy to wield 3. Chaotic and over the top action Cons 1. Screen tearing issues 2. Frame rate really takes a hit in cut scenes 3. Too much filler content 4.    In my opinion, it is not as bad as the kind of hate it gets. I enjoyed my time with it. Though it is not on the level of Far cry 3 but still those were an enjoyable 35-40 hrs.

    As a fan of Far Cry series, this one feels like Far Cry, plays like Far Cry, but the main thing that missing is villian. Anton Castilio is bad, not bad as New Dawn villians, but not the best. Story is also bad, very very bad, I honestly can't believe how bad it is, since all games in this series had a good story (not New Dawn). Even Primal with Blood Dragon have a better story than 6thAs a fan of Far Cry series, this one feels like Far Cry, plays like Far Cry, but the main thing that missing is villian. Anton Castilio is bad, not bad as New Dawn villians, but not the best. Story is also bad, very very bad, I honestly can't believe how bad it is, since all games in this series had a good story (not New Dawn). Even Primal with Blood Dragon have a better story than 6th installment of the series.
    Long story short

    Gameplay is awesome, fun to play with friends as well (PS5 adaptive triggers and vibration is cool)
    Story is awful, villian is boring, world is ok, atmosphere is good

While not far cry 3 far cry 6 is definitely a step up from far cry new dawn the story is compelling along with the gameplay fun my only gripes are that there's times where I have no idea what's a capture able outpost and what isn't I've spent a lotta time trying to capture a place I couldn't along with that there are some bugs but it's also a new game so what do you expect all and all it's a step up from what new dawn was the way you get and upgrade weapons can also be annoying though… Expand

    Don't listen to the reviews, go play the game it's a lot of fun. It may be worse than the other far cry games but the artwork and design is very solid.

    I have to say, although I really don’t like RPG elements as they are added with clothing, everything else about that game is typical far cry.
    I like the story setting and the sneaking very much. You should give it a try.

    As for the game itself, this is one of three FC games since the original that actually has a soul, FC3 and 5 being the others (by the way, it’s absolutely HILARIOUS how the cretins I described above now apparently LOVE FC5 when it was at first considered “anti-American” LOL). There are some design choices and story elements that I would have definitely changed, as well as some boring side activity/questing options, but there is a decent feel of authenticity here although it’s drowned out at times. Another thing that annoys me is how the game suffers from the same thing that has plagued basically all forms of multimedia nowadays - an obsession with mistaking “let’s kill everyone around protagonist, including other main characters, and surround them with constant brutality” as “seriousness”. Sorry, but that isn’t how it works. Instead it gets to a point where there’s no reason to even a reason to develop any emotional attachment or give an F about really anything with how all these movies, shows, games, etc. that think they’re being clever or “real”. This is, I think, why the game - again, like many others - tries for moments of levity and comedy in-between, but a lot of times these come off as awkward or forced.

    As for the rest, the gun play is good, graphics are great, there are no “bugs” - which is another vague code word used when these sad losers try really hard to make their “0” score of something they’ve never experienced, look like a real review.

    Overall, not the greatest FC, but definitely not the worst (FC1 on console and FC Primal). It’s a solid 7.5 or so, maybe a 6 or 8 depending on how burned out you are on these “open world” action games. Of course I have to give it a 10 on this site because of the aforementioned sad trash bombing its score.

    Definitely worth grabbing now as it’s super cheap on every console and *just* (literally today) became free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    The biggest issue with Far Cry 6 is not understanding why revolutions need to happen, and grappling with the real consequenses of fascist dictators and how these affect a country. It's strange because Far Cry 4 understands this much better and asks something much more politically intriguing and morally complicated. The humour/ half-assed social justice messeging don't necessarily translate well, or serve any purpose within this Cuban/fantasy setting. The humour genuinely down-plays the genuinely horrific reality that pushes people to a revolution/becoing a revolutinary. You don't choose to play the path/role of a revolutinary, revolutinaries are forced into unbeatable odds that make firm decisions to make a change. It's actually somewhat offensive tbh. If they stuck to a more grounded/serious tone, actually had a progression tree. had proper character devlopments this game could have been sensational.

    I would recommend picking this up for like 15 dollars once heavily discounted, but otherwise do not pay for this...it's not bad, it's just somewhat mediocre and is offensively innovative    … Expand

    it's impossible to avoid the feeling this is basically the 5th far cry 3. yes the world is bigger and prettier but this is just another mediocre ubisoft open world with hundreds of objective markers, good for when you wanna turn off your brain and shoot stuff but not much else , recommend to buy at a sale of at least 50&

    Fun enough without re-inventing the wheel. Tying perks to guns and armor was really confusing, and a huge slog. The story is completely forgettable. If you like un-lockathons, like me, then you'll get a little bit of joy out of it. Otherwise it's a pretty bland experience.

    I think this is the best Far Cry in the franchise. I liked Dani (woman) and the story of Anthony Castillo and his son. I liked the gameplay, and the first 20 hours were great. I got high every minute but the game eventually begins to lose its sense of novelty and there are no further challenges to the player.

    P.S I spent 65 hours in the game.

    Beautiful game and large area to explore is a definite plus. The respawning of enemies that you already killed right behind you really sucks when trying to clear areas, nerfs stealth players.

Along the way you meet some really interesting companions, and some adorable animal allies called Amigos, who are definitely the heart and soul of this story. While the main plot isn't heavy, it's told in very subtle ways through continued character conversations and cutscenes between each act. It's definitely not innovating in any way but I'll be loving 100 percenting it and I do enjoy the setting a lot more than I have for any of the others since 3. Like most Ubisoft games, it does have that 'lots of dots on maps' feel; and if you're into the slow grindiness, this has a good vibe. Lost interest because is always the same thing over and over and the 6th is no different. The progression of this game is insanely lost. I guess I either need to stop buying Ubisoft games, or make read reviews before I purchase. Enough companies making good games, so will probably do the former.

    Après avoir fini le jeu, je ressors avec un sentiment très mitigé. Car le synopsis était à la hauteur mais Ubisoft pèche encore une fois par ses quêtes ennuyeuses. Le jeu n’est pas mauvais mais il n’est pas excellent non plus. C’est un jeu moyen qui propose par moments de belles séquences.
    Pour moi, j’ai aimé le début et la fin du jeu.

    Esse Farcry ficou muito bom. O retorno do mini mapa é algo ótimo. O personagem fazer parte da história novamente também é algo que ajuda a trazer mais profundidade para a história do jogo. Vale muito a pena jogar, os gráficos estão ótimos e tem muitas possibilidades novas no jogo que vão além de tudo que havia no farcry anterior.

    I've enjoyed every Far Cry game so far, and this didn't disappoint. It's Far Cry in a new environment. My only 2 complaints would be around the replacement of the skill tree with perk-based gear, and the weapons (I mostly played with the same 4 as many just felt underpowered) but neither really impacted my game much. Played for 54 hours and completed just about everything in the map.I've enjoyed every Far Cry game so far, and this didn't disappoint. It's Far Cry in a new environment. My only 2 complaints would be around the replacement of the skill tree with perk-based gear, and the weapons (I mostly played with the same 4 as many just felt underpowered) but neither really impacted my game much. Played for 54 hours and completed just about everything in the map. Grabbed this on sale for $30 so definitely felt like I got my money's worth of entertainment.… Expand

    Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
