    This is a perfect Far Cry game for me. A mix of 2,3 and New Dawn. It has it all. Pretty usual FC, so looking for anything other, just search elsewhere.

    They really go for being politically correct. To the point where it runes the game. Literally almost all the main characters are women which wouldn't be bad if it was realistic. I didn't know female's were the main gender involved in any sort of gorilla warfare but I guess I was wrong.

    The coop system is so broken! Why the hell would you advertise something that is coop where your partner’s progression is solo only? That means that apart from his equipment, all the rest – progression, story, camps, every single thing on the map – doesn’t count for him. What the hell Ubisoft! Furthermore, I think playing this game coop hides its solo playing boredom. You start realizingThe coop system is so broken! Why the hell would you advertise something that is coop where your partner’s progression is solo only? Furthermore, I think playing this game coop hides its solo playing boredom. You start realizing that missions are madly repetitive when you play solo.

    The game doesn’t look too bad indeed, but the world of Yara doesn’t feel alive. I feel like in a clone of Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Enemies everywhere, Yarans citizens are virtually non-existent, cars are driven unrealistically (it’s an actual joke how driving AI is). I also don’t get this weapon leveling system. What the hell are those 4 stars? What do they mean? And I haaaaate the fact that you need to storm an enemy with 5000 rounds to kill one. I’d have loved it so much more if it was more realistic, if enemies are downed with one sniper rifle bullet for example. Now it’s just another clone of any boring videogame, with 1000 ultra-armored guys and other bullet-sponges.

    Lastly, I must say this scenario is really weird. It’s not credible, it would not make any sense in real life, we don’t feel for the characters at all, and most of the missions are boring scenaristically speaking as well. It’s just not engaging for me. It doesn’t do it.

    It’s a shame because this game had potential. If sufficiently polished on all mentioned aspects and if fitted with an actual nice story, its map would have provided it with a very nice playground.    … Expand

    Flamethrower didn't work as advertised in a game where it needs to be used constantly, npc companions are 100% garbage, Ive played all the farcrys and loved them.. this is trash.

    I rarely write reviews an in particular 0 reviews. I don’t want to lack of respect the several people who worked behind this game, but I really feel scammed, especially for a 70€ game.
    - game is same as FC3 FC4 FC5. Barely no new mechanics. Missions are repetitive and boring. - story is the same as always (crazy bad guy / you join the resistance from nowhere / solve the problem)
    - graphics    I rarely write reviews an in particular 0 reviews. I don’t want to lack of respect the several people who worked behind this game, but I really feel scammed, especially for a 70€ game.

    Incredibly dumb AI, lip sync doesn't match the sound on the opening cutscene, the mods system is horrible, the plot and characters are boring and uninspiring. I liked Far Cry 5 a lot and this one is such a disappointment.

    the game does not look as bad as people are saying. but it is way too damn easy. was hoping to play co-op on the hardest mode with a friend. all the territories need to be 5 levels higher. I'm already level 7 and I don't even do everything. and I still have a bunch of areas to clear out that are Level 3.

As a person who poured 46 hours in the game and still gonna continue for platinum trophy, its not amazing but its good. Story is very interesting but there are some things I found bad in the game which lowers some of the score I am
    giving. [There are some spoilers]

    -Good Story
    -Fun Gun Play
    -Fun Mechanics
    -Some of the guns are fun to use
    -If your a platinum trophy hunting, its worth it. Has really easy achievements.
    -Boomer from Far Cry 5 is in it which is amazing.
    -Has Cockfighting Game which is really fun to play
    -There are some fun vehicles to use.

    -[Cons]-
    -Some of the animations like climbing feel janky, does not feel smooth at all.
    -You are constantly seeing the same enemy over time.
    -The parachute is very annoying, if you pull it when close to the ground, you sometimes unexpectedly die when you are suppose to live.
    -There are shading glitches I have noticed
    -I feel like when you talk to a NPC to get a mission is kind of a let down, the way it pops up a screen and you look at text, and press accept quest instead of just a simple cutscene, idk.    … Expand

    Same as far cry 5, which means same as last 10 far cry games. This one is especially buggy, worse than Cyberpunk 2077. Incredibly dumb AI, even worse than 2010 standards.

    This is a classic Far Cry game. I think that it's definitely better than the last one so i recommend. If you like these types of games they are a good game, but if you don't like it don't buy it.

    Majority of the negative reviews are people just saying "Stupid missions, stupid game". Just letting you know. It's a repetitive game series just like GTA for example.

    Definitely one of my favorite games in the series. Story took some interesting, yet somewhat predictable twists but, all in all, if you are a far cry fan, you'll enjoy yourself with this one.

The campaign is still passable...but the one feature that was unique and had me coming back for 1000s of hours.. was REMOVED for the first time in over a decade of the franchise. The multiplayer and map editor feature is gone so I'll be staying on 5 until further notice. Its ubisofts own fault for its lack of taking off but blamesHasn't changed the formula much since Far Cry 3.     The gameplay is amazing I can't get enough of it, I've put 60 hours in so far and I am on my second playthrough.

    I would of give a 9 if Ubisoft wouldn't of put culture war politics in some missions "smash the patriarchy" etc.
    I play games to escape reality not be pestered by billion dollar companies run by men talking about the patriarchy, it's pathetic. Leave it out next time

    Es una pena ver este review bombing por parte de la comunidad italiana que no sabe leer un subtítulo. El juego es el mejor FC que jugué de todos. Historias, jugabilidad y gráficos hermosos. 100% recomendado. ¡Kudos por Ubisoft!

    This is a FAR CRY game 100%!!! Freakin love it everyone! I am 20 hrs in and taking my time and Ubisoft made the best Far Cry to date. The weapons, the stories, the carnage, the plans of attacks that are brutal when executed right.....and the graphics.....WOW!!! On the PS5 this was exactly what i wanted. I have no idea what people where expecting...and Far Cry game like Zelda....HAHAHA. IfThis is a FAR CRY game 100%!!! Freakin love it everyone!     I see people rate 0 on this game for not having Italian language and some saying it's the same far cry over and over again.

    Learn English ffs and what did you expect when you bought the game? That it would be a souls game? Of course it's more far cry. What a joke some people are!

    This game is actually really good.

    I think it is a wonderful game if you like other Far Cry series before, even it doesn't support Italian Audio, but who cares ? nobody cares ! English is the original audio !

Every part of it made me happy. 1 and 2 were unique. 3 was a masterpiece. 4 was a not-so-good copy-paste of 3 but it was okay. 5 was new and played differently. 6 however give us nothing new, but the same game with very bad quality. The game works badly on PS5 and the picture is overall very blurry. The main character is an idiot and the famous actorI loved the Far Cry series very much.     I really liked Far Cry 5 but this just didn’t do it for me. The problem is that i expected more from this game. It just feels like any old Far Cry game and isn’t really that innovative. The quests are pretty boring and repetitive in my opinion and the whole game just isn’t really exiting. The game has its good things but overall it just didn’t do it for me. Not bad but not great either.

The game is currently not worth 60$ but if you wait for a discount and get it for 40 or 30$, it's definitely worth it.     Farcry 6 is a better game than "new dawn" but then, that wouldn't exactly be hard. Is it better than 5 or 4. That's debatable. Four was dreadful except the villain. And 5 had human companions and a decent almost supernatural storyline along with a host of likeable NPCs.

    Farycry 6 starts off well, introducing a bunch of characters and then killing a few off. So far so good. And then it doesn't go well. The tutorials start befuddling themselves you are told of things well before they actually appear on screen, and occasionally get a tutorial about something that you've already achieved 30 minutes ago. It's a mess.

    The Map is designed badly, you'll wonder why you can't zoom in one more step. You'll set up a waypoint which you'll spend 3-4 minutes trying to find when you're looking around. Sometimes it'll just vanish and reappear when at a certain angle (even if you untrack missions). Makes exploration more frustrating than necessarily, after all these games. It's clear they've learned nothing from them.

    The first person vehicle thing is annoying, don't worry you can make them auto travel to your waypoint "L3" on the PS5 or if you're on a horse "X" because making them the same button would just be ridiculous. The horse is slightly bugged, so most of the time you dismount, you can't remount.

    And half the time you can't fast travel either because of combat (makes sense), bugged combat (frustrating but this is open world BS we're used to) and because the area is next to a quest objective (either to start or finish one) i'm not kidding. Not sure why they implemented that little nugget but you gotta travel manually. Don't worry you can summon rides. 4 to be exact. Oh sure you can save loads but you can't access those UNLESS you're in a base.

    The more you play farcry 6 the more you notice the bad points. Companions are all animals, and their AI would make pacman walk away in disgust. It's 2021. Come on. I'd have preferred the companion system of farycry 5 but maybe they were saving on voice actors. who knows. They're terrible in every way. If you manage to get them to kill 3 without having to be revived, there should be an achievement/trophy just for that alone.

    There's a lot of puzzle parts (no enemies), one of the puzzle parts have to be accessed at night with no fast travel nearby and you can't change the time. So just wait around once you find it. have something to eat, wonder why there's not an option to "press X to fast forward to night" just so you can move on. The level design is all over the place with this game.

    Puzzles aren't even very good, they're trying so hard to be Mirror Edge 1/2 but failing on every technical level. You'll get there but it won't be the puzzles that'll make it longer than necessary.

    You also get backpacks with special powers, and a special weapon to equip alongside them. Mix and Match. They're all pretty bland to be honest. There's plenty of weapons and they've done away with the levelling system (no skill points). Instead you gain guerrilla levels unlocking more things along the way. Resources are all over the place, you'll never run out of those. Animals are only used for trading now, so no crafting armour/bags etc anymore. Shame.

    They've even added a system where you gain leaders and recruits, doing ME Andromeda/DA inquisition missions which don't really award much, and feel like a late addition. I'm not sure why they were even added. Maybe they thought it would give the "base building" more depth. It does not. The base building thing is awful anyway but it fools you into thinking you're building up to something.

    Also while you're in these bases, you're in third person. yay what we all want "i'm not playing Just Cause 4, i'm not playing just cause 4" is something you'll say more than once.

    They really like colour as well, so it'll remind the older among us of the original farcry without the cool powers and the great gameplay. Rather than being gritty and brutal. Gives it an almost cartoon quality which is strange given the farcry 6 story.

    It's better than New Dawn, and you may enjoy it. I didn't really like it or dislike it so much not to beat it. Which doesn't take long whether you go to miami straight away after the starting island or wait around for another terrible farcry ending. Seriously they're getting good at these terrible endings.

    Probably to make way for a new map based years later so they can flog you another terrible ubisoft game. So you can expect a farcry game next year like Primal, and New Dawn before it. At least they're predictable now    … Expand

    This game is not a 0 out of 10 like people give, which is just stupid. Its 8 out of 10 but i need to give it a 10 to com0ensate for the stupid reviews. This game is a fun open world forst person shooting like most past far cry games. I even think story is better. If you want more of that, then go for this game and youll have a good time. The world looks beautiful too.

    Terrible finale, no boss fight, they are killing one of the best character (leader of the revolution) in the game and after that they want you to celebrate the Victory like nothing happens... really....

Главный герой без идеи и гороха в голове. Даже в 5 части было больше драмы и обоснованности чем в этом шлаке.Абсолютно не интересное приключение.     I don’t get the Wiz, if you buyed the game because you liked the prior games, than you good. It’s not a revolution of far cry and I think that’s good. If you buyed the game because of the Hype than I’m sorry for you, cause the story is not 70€ worthy

    Probably the best far cry since in a while, it's a little too easy and gets repetitive but it does what it says on the box well. It would be fairly fun in co op but I hate people so will never experience it.

    FOR ALL ITALIAN PEOPLE HERE: Learn to speak English. I'm from The Netherlands, do you think Dutch is an option in Far Cry 6? No. But since when is that a problem? You lower the score over some bs. Thanks to these Itlaian reviewers this game gets a 3.9 in stead of a 7 or higher.

    Been playing this game a lot since to came out and I have enjoyed most of it. To start as usual the early game content is the best with the game calming down after 7 hours and picking its self up near the end. This has definitely been the most fun I’ve had with Far Cry since 3, with 5 being very disappointing because of them removing many features.

    This game brings back a voice actor for your character and cut scenes. That make the story more interesting . Talking about the story it was good, very predictable at times but had a nice conclusion at the end. The gameplay was normal far cry. This game added a new type of weapon type called supremos this is a weapon that you get to use once every while and can take down many enemies in one use.
    Overall this game was very fun and was much better than far cry 5.    … Expand

    I love far cry.

    I've played every far cry since the first one but Far Cry 6 is the worst since New Dawn, Gameplay is meh all characters besides Dani Lack any personality combat is boring and the "Surpermo's" are one big over powered joke. you can tell the lack of creativity and originality that go into Far Cry 6. if you're trying to decide if you should buy it now or wait for sale    I love far cry.

    I've played every far cry since the first one but Far Cry 6 is the worst since New Dawn, Gameplay is meh all characters besides Dani Lack any personality combat is boring and the "Surpermo's" are one big over powered joke. you can tell the lack of creativity and originality that go into Far Cry 6.

    if you're trying to decide if you should buy it now or wait for sale i'd suggest waiting for a sale, there is no way this game is worth £60

    the story doesn't pull you in it's boring and you just don't care about anything that's going on, even Far Cry 5 had more pull than Far Cry 6, in Far Cry 5 i felt immersed into the story even though the main protagonist wasn't voiced.

    Far Cry 6 is very good although similar to past far cry games the story is great. If you liked 3,4,5 you’ll definitely like 6. The only problems I had with this game was some screen tearing here and there but altogether a great game.

They just like to piss on anything they can. Solid game, decent story, keeping me interested. Ignore the douches giving 0 reviews.

This game freezes very often during cut scenes, the airplanes are terrible to try to fly, the story is grey and bland because Ubisoft wastes time making male and female protagonists, level ups don't seem to mean anything, and it suffers from being chock full of current year politics.     Far Cry to me has always been more about the fun action and exploration! In those core aspects I enjoy playing and venturing the world. Carlos who ever he is doesn't do much for me in terms of anything. He creates a stark contrast between his character and well everyone else looks like a cartoon next to him which pulls me out of the game.     I was sceptical about this game however after a few hours I can confirm this game is excellent and doesn't deserve all the bad reviews. The atmosphere (music and landscape) is awesome, the gunfights are nice as the weapon creativity, and AI isn't as bad as some people stated. I didn't like far cry 4 & 5 but this one is the perfect gateway after office work.

    Game play; was just okay and a great let down in a lot of areas. Vehicles controls felt off and clunky for anything you drive. Horses were just a novelty that I used only once because it was forced. The rest felt like other far cry games but a lot taken out.

    World: Some parts were pretty and interesting like the towns and some of exploration but the world did not feel that large. Most of it's water and I felt like huge rebel camps were right on top of the regimes camps. The city was a big let down. Most of it is sectioned off and unexploreble, even after the game is over and you can't fly over it.

    This is going be the last game far cry six series I play. To the developers, stop trying force unlikable and annoying teens as characters in games ( even though they much older then teens). Also, okay boomer jokes were annoying and does not match the locale. It may be hard to believe but the rest of the world is not made up of teens who never matured and actual respects elders.     Far Cry 6 reminding me a lot of Just cause 3, in that while youre in this massive world, everything felt pretty cookie cutter generic.. and unlike just cause 3 the weapons weren’t crazy enough to keep fully entertained and there weren’t great story pieces pulling me through… just the same stuff over and over again, get to the spot on the map, deal with checkpoint along the way, take them over for future fast travl points, get back to the mission, kill all the people there.. thankfully youll unlock pets such as a crocodile or puppy to help along the way to attack and distract, but kill all the nemies, or find a key card so you can enter a building to throw a switch, or kill al the enemies and hack a computer which is just you guarding It while a percentage meter fills, over and over and over.. again no great story piece or story telling within the actual campaign except maybe couple of times.. really exposing the games bloat, I felt like I was doing side missions through most of the campaign.. I know box numbers are imorptant to people spending 60 to 70 dollars on a game, I get that.. but I would prefer and epic 12 hours over a mediocre repetitive 20.. I would even be fine having to level up to unlock those story missions and feel an urge to liberate the island and find weapons, if the grind didn’t feel obnoxious and get in the way of my play… maybe I have to capture a certain amount of enemy bases… if that means I get some story missions with some effort rather than feel like an algorithm developed the game.. Ill take it…
    Overall Far Cry 6 had its moments that made me laugh or moments of me actually having fun, but for the most part I felt lke I was just going through the motions of a soulless shooter, chasing credits rather than chasing the next epic event around the next corner..
    Far Cry 6 is a good shooter, it is brimming with things to do and weapons to find, you can even play with friends… but wow does this game do nothing memorable.

Want to jumble and climb up a roof, unless there is a blue cloth you can’t even it at the same height or the same roof, has to be that spot. Reload your gun, you press the button then 20 seconds later the button pressed is registered. To pick up an item you must stand directly on top of that item and look down to pick it up. Not a single part of this game or it’s controls works correctly. The story is good but good luck getting through it when you can’t actually play the game… Expand

    В пятой у тебя была задача освободить штат.
    Даже в Нью-Даун была задача приехать туда-то и помочь людям.
    А в шестой части вы воюешь, если даже сами повстанцы прямо говорят, что нифига ничего не смогут изменить. Зачем тогда воевать? Действия тирана вообще не подаются логике, я ожидал что будет действительно спорный злодей как в 4 части игры, но нет, тут злодей gолу-дурак, полу-детский злодей из радужного мира поней типичного разума законченного либерала.

    II. ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ

    Никакой ролевки с КПП не будет, по вам будут сразу фигачить, как только вы попытаетесь мирно проехать, как и другие нпс. Все ваши проблемы так же решит танк, захватите его и вы можете на нём пройти всю игру.

    ПОКАЖИТЕ МНЕ ЧЕЛОВЕКА КОТОРЫЙ ПЕРЕНЕС MMORPG С NEW DAWN, ТОЛЬКО СДЕЛАВ ЭТО ЕЩЁ ТУПЕЕ!

    III. ДЕГРАДАЦИЯ.

    Юбисофт только закрепило моё мнение что они деградировали по всем фронтам. Некогда любимая студия, с шикарным выходом третьей части, пали на моих глазах и теперь я совершенно не заинтересован в покупке/поддержке их будущих игр, так как они полная хрень.

    ВЫВОД: Этот донатный магазин имеет классный дизайн и по истине высокую ценность. Правда кошелёк спасибо не скажет.     What a disappointment! After playing for a few hours I just couldn't take it anymore. I took a break and tried again the next day, thinking that maybe I had a bad day. So I did come back. It's actually that bad.

Non-existent character development and just cliches among cliches. Cutscenes are boring. You just can't bring yourself to care about these characters. Not even Giancarlo Esposito (great actor BTW) can keep this trainwreck together.
    The graphics are up to next gen standards and highly detailed. It is overall a very pleasing looking game. However this negatively impacts visibility of enemies etc. You'll get spotted from a hundred metres away by an enemy who just melded together behind a barrel and a bush. The cracks start to show in the gameplay. The movement of the character is horrendously clunky. You truly feel like a person who's horribly out of shape and who can't sprint for a few seconds. Gunplay feels laughably bad. It's like the developers wanted to make it more realistic, like battlefield. The weapons sound nice, but have abysmal recoil and reload times and are just not fun to use. You're constantly fighting your guns and struggling to hit anything. I've played FPS games for over 20 years and I have never had a bad time trying to hit enemies like in this game. Also, you need to now constantly worry about using the right ammo type against the right type of enemy (AP or Soft Target rounds). Takedown animations look cool but take FOREVER. It's faster to just shoot them in the head. Overall this is a huge disappointment. The trailers looked cool and was just stoked to play the new next gen Far Cry game.

    Playing on PS4 so the graphics are pretty similar to the previous game in that they’re not terrible but there’s definitely a lot to be desired when you’re looking at faces. But the last games were entertaining enough that I hardly ever cared about the graphic. Only to start playing this and have a mess of issues from the get go. This game doesn’t manual save, apparently that wasn’t anPlaying on PS4 so the graphics are pretty similar to the previous game in that they’re not terrible but there’s definitely a lot to be desired when you’re looking at faces. But the last games were entertaining enough that I hardly ever cared about the graphic. Only to start playing this and have a mess of issues from the get go. This game doesn’t manual save, apparently that wasn’t an important enough feature to include. So you’re entirely relying on auto save, which I wouldn’t mind because in past games it was pretty reliable and you were always near the right area. However in this one it does it so rarely that I just travelled across the entire map, the largest map for a far cry game, only to die and be sent straight back to the last camp I was at which was on the other side. And this happens so often when travelling that I just want to play Far Cry 5 because I was so much less annoyed at that game. On top of this you can upgrade your camp to unlock abilities and weapons, as I’ve played the previous game the first thing I unlocked was the section that gave you the wing suit since it’s the easiest and quickest way to get to some areas. Only to find out there’s a bug where you unlock the section but it doesn’t give you the wingsuit, and because it only auto saves I can’t go back to a previous save to try again Combine this with the game being a FPS, only to make you watch third person cutscenes, and make the game third person when you’re in a camp is extremely annoying and makes me think no one actually paid attention to what went well on the previous games. I’m not significantly far in the game as I’ve been getting companions, which are only animals this time meaning if you travel and die they can’t revive you because they’re not near you, also making it a quiet experience sometimes with no sharky and hurks around. I have done a lot of side missions mainly because the fast travel places are so far away from missions unless you capture the checkpoints, and if you don’t you restart miles away from where you were. There’s enjoyable parts when the game actual works but it really isn’t worth the amount of bugs or just lack of thought the people who made the game have. And on top of this I don’t care that much about the villains, which in the previous games were so good I didn’t mind about the flaws because the enemies were done so well and you wanted to see them all the time and fight them and they were what made the game. Also combine this with the characters flipping between Spanish and English three times a sentence, which my Spanish speaking friend is extremely annoyed about since that’s not bilingual people talk.… Expand

    It's Far Cry with new ideas.
    The backpacks are a nice addition,
    the map is beautiful and tropical again.
    The animal companions are funny af.
    9/10 great game.

After playing for hours I began to see they watered down the sense of progression with your character. You do craft things, but it is via recipes you already have in some big drop down list. I was expecting a very inventive, improvised, and clever use of weapon crafting with what was improvised but yet you magically make weapons out of depleted uranium that offer up a different twist in how you can fight enemies. Yet, it feels tacked onto the game since you could technically ignore the Resolver (various versions of hand weapons that do unique things like spray enemies with chemicals or shoot nails), and the Supremo (a backpack that fire rocket, emits an EMP, and more) systems added and still play like you did the other Far Cry games.

    The story while interesting as well seems to divide the game into three sections of the map each with their own potential allies you need to work with to eventually earn their allegiance to join your cause. While the characters are fun and their stories interesting it feels disjointed and doesn't seem to come together well enough. For me currently it feels more like a chore to do these three areas than an enjoyable experience that could have perhaps been better interwoven into the overall story better.

    In the end if you want more raiding of forts via whatever machinations you wish to employ, fishing, hunting, and seeking out hidden treasures via simple environment puzzles you'll like the game. But if you were expecting something revolutionary... well this isn't it oddly enough.    … Expand

The respawn rate of enemies is measured in seconds. it's physically impossible to clear out an area, because everyone you kill is back as soon as you turn your back for more than 15 seconds.     Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
