While not far cry 3 far cry 6 is definitely a step up from far cry new dawn the story is compelling along with the gameplay fun my only gripes are that there's times where I have no idea what's a capture able outpost and what isn't I've spent a lotta time trying to capture a place I couldn't along with that there are some bugs but it's also a new game so what do you expect all and all it's a step up from what new dawn was the way you get and upgrade weapons can also be annoying though… Expand

    As a fan of Far Cry series, this one feels like Far Cry, plays like Far Cry, but the main thing that missing is villian. Anton Castilio is bad, not bad as New Dawn villians, but not the best. Story is also bad, very very bad, I honestly can't believe how bad it is, since all games in this series had a good story (not New Dawn). Even Primal with Blood Dragon have a better story than 6thAs a fan of Far Cry series, this one feels like Far Cry, plays like Far Cry, but the main thing that missing is villian. Anton Castilio is bad, not bad as New Dawn villians, but not the best. Story is also bad, very very bad, I honestly can't believe how bad it is, since all games in this series had a good story (not New Dawn). Even Primal with Blood Dragon have a better story than 6th installment of the series.
    Long story short

    Gameplay is awesome, fun to play with friends as well (PS5 adaptive triggers and vibration is cool)
    Story is awful, villian is boring, world is ok, atmosphere is good

    Worst farcry in the series. Horrible graphics worse than the last installment, bland story with a horribly boring and one dimensional villain, and one of the most unsatisfying endings in any modern day video game.

    The game doesnt feel like a farcry, it really feels like you are playing a farcry 3 dlc, tbh i kinda enjoyed the game but only because i played online

    I really gave this one a shot but I just can't continue more than the few hours I put into it. This is the weakest title in the series, to keep it short its boring. It's like they didn't playtest this or something.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I preordered FC, pd $60, & avoided spoilers because I love FC series. I replay my FC games. I played FC6 & was close to 100% on trophies. I waited a few months to get my rage 0 score out of my system. The island beauty was a 10! I liked Treasure Hunts, fishing, & the outfits for skills. I'm a female, but I didn't like being forced to play as female for a trophy. Game play left me empty! First island fun, Guapo good but I quickly realized 80% on my machete kills was to the back of a female! Seemed geared to Ted Bundy! After initial island it went down hill. First, weapons didn't work or the upgrades. The respawn was insane especially with weapons which didnt kill. The missions so bad & embarassing, I was saying please god let this be the last one. The amigos so messed up! Croc, puma okay but a crippled dog, boomer from FC5 instead of Tinder from FCND but lastly the rooster was just so bad, I kept for the stupid trophies. My surprise was why would two great actors agree to be put in this mess. I wanted to join the dictator! I thought this would be like it other FC, it wasnt! I thought it was based on Cuba human right nightmares, it wasn't! It was a hit to US on racial & LGBTQ unfairness, but promoted in gameplay Trans couple verbally assaulting each other. If they wanted to create an entire game promoting this group, then the setting should be in one of the many countries where it is illegal & being different can end in death. Excessive women used & killed was another problem. I disliked all characters except the dictator & his kid. Plus, is it really Far Cry without Hulk? I wont preorder again, I will look for spoilers & this Far Cry 6 will get dusty. Will play FC 5 to scratch my itch! I'm sad!… Expand

    Toujours la même recette depuis Far Cry 3. Il serait temps de miser sur une prise de risque plutôt que de sortir toujours le même open world générique. Certes le dépaysement est toujours au rendez vous, mais c'est comme ci on proposait toujours le même repas, mais chaque jour avec un nouvel ingrédient. Cela reste le même repas.

    An opportunity missed in my humble opinion. This didn’t feel like a next gen game. More an upgraded PS4 game with slightly better graphics. I don’t know why but usually I climb high, look at the view and think ‘wow’ but I wasn’t feeling this at all. Also the weapon upgrades felt clunky, the missions and story were generic and the whole thing left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. Far Cry 7An opportunity missed in my humble opinion.     What a wicked game. So glad I finally grabbed this I cant get enough. Well worth the money I got the disk version for 30 bucks. Unreal how big and how much stuff their is to do. I never played Far Cry before so this is an amazing experience for me. It's usually very hard for me to find a game I like highly recommend

    You can say all of them already done in previous games. İt is true but not like this.

    This game is so boring. This game is way too long. This game is too easy. This game's open world is too big and empty. The boss fights are literal **** So i enjoyed this game even though it is not good because i have a monkey brain which likes gun shoot head dead games. Do not buy it buy far cry 3.

    It’s incredible how much of a downgrade this is to Farcry 5. Storyline, graphics, scenery, game play - everything has regressed massively. It’s almost like they’ve purposely removed the great bits like hunting and capturing places, why??? I love this franchise but difficult to see where they can go after this.

This issue, that makes the game absolutely unplayable, is happening for months and Ubisoft just don't fix it.     Absolutely Best Far cry game. I love that you can upgrade your gear. I love the huge open world and it's just rewarding to explore the whole world because you can find gear or resources. There are so many awesome weapons, only the clothes are not mine, I mean when you're a general and have to wear dirty clothes, hmm I don't know it don't make sense. I really like the story and theAbsolutely Best Far cry game. I love that you can upgrade your gear. I love the huge open world and it's just rewarding to explore the whole world because you can find gear or resources.     so far i find the game very entertaining and well voiced. conversations are very natural. the gunplay is great as always but the upgrade system took a long time to understand and seems very convoluted. the game isn't clear on how things work. i dig the story so far but a lot of the tasks are the same ole...lots of collecting of crafting resources, lots of caches, a forced fishing mechanismso far i find the game very entertaining and well voiced. conversations are very natural. the gunplay is great as always but the upgrade system took a long time to understand and seems very convoluted. the game isn't clear on how things work. i dig the story so far but a lot of the tasks are the same ole...lots of collecting of crafting resources, lots of caches, a forced fishing mechanism i could care less about. overall it's a fun and easy game to jump in and out of and that's how i'm going to treat it.… Expand

    It's probably the best Far Cry game ever made with ton mechanics, great setting and audiovisuals.
    However franchise needs some break and reboot cause year after year the concept is still the same.
    I've had fun with it and done platinum trophy in 40 hours, game can be completed in some 20.

    Empty open world, barely any vehicles on the roads.
    The characters are just lame and high maintenance, disgusting.

    The only interesting characters are shown in cutscenes (the main antagonist and his son).
    Don't waste your money on this copy-pasta Ubisoft open-world.

    I loved the first Far Cry for all its cringe gaming moments. I sort of enjoyed Far Cry 2 and more so appreciated what they were trying to accomplish. Far Cry 3 and 4 were greatness. Far Cry 5 I didn't expect to love but did.

    After the last entry I just knew Far Cry 6 was going to be as entertaining as 5 but in a tropical climate. Boy was I wrong. I wouldn’t call it bad since for me the game is at least playable and fun to a certain extent, but it has one of the worst AI’s I have ever seen, terrible, cringy and forgivable characters (in exception to Antón, his son and maybe Dani), a pretty disappointing story and a massive, bloated open world.     Good game. I don't understand people who underestimate their ratings. Want to say the previous parts were better in terms of gameplay graphics? No. Here I was especially pleased with the world, quests, graphics, plot. Everything is at a high level. I play on ps5.

    If you don't like FC games, don't buy this, if you do, Don't buy this.
    I can't tell you whats wrong with this games but its just "off" it doesn't feel like an FC game, it shouls but it doest, its barely playable if you are bored af.

    Il gioco non si discosta molto dai precedenti capitoli, anche se mostra evidenti migliorie sul comparto tecnico. Inizialmente la mancanza del doppiaggio in italiano poteva sembrare una grossa pecca, alla fine invece, il gioco regge bene comunque, ribaltando quello che poteva sembrare un limite al gioco e portandolo a diventare un piacevole punto di forza

    The game was good what we generally from a FarCry game. There was nothing new in this game. The story was good and the world was fine I would say. One major complaint I have with this game is that the graphics looks like a base PS4 game. There were also few hiccups here and there on PS5. I've recently been playing through Far Cry 4 and am actually quite impressed at how unique/intruging the story/progression and difficulty is comparitively to Far Cry 6...it's actually kinda sad that Far Cry 4 is more innovative and fun comparitively to 6.

    The biggest issue with Far Cry 6 is not understanding why revolutions need to happen, and grappling with the real consequenses of fascist dictators and how these affect a country. It's strange because Far Cry 4 understands this much better and asks something much more politically intriguing and morally complicated. The humour/ half-assed social justice messeging don't necessarily translate well, or serve any purpose within this Cuban/fantasy setting. The humour genuinely down-plays the genuinely horrific reality that pushes people to a revolution/becoing a revolutinary. You don't choose to play the path/role of a revolutinary, revolutinaries are forced into unbeatable odds that make firm decisions to make a change. It's actually somewhat offensive tbh. If they stuck to a more grounded/serious tone, actually had a progression tree. had proper character devlopments this game could have been sensational.

    I would recommend picking this up for like 15 dollars once heavily discounted, but otherwise do not pay for this...it's not bad, it's just somewhat mediocre and is offensively innovative    … Expand

    If you like Far Cry, It's good. If you don't like Far Cry games, don't buy it. A side note: A lot of the negative reviews for this game are like someone that doesn't like chicken wings reviewing chicken wings. These wings taste the same as the last wings. Some people just like wings

    Assurdo che un gioco come Far Cry, uno dei prodotti di punta di un colosso del gaming come Ubisoft, non abbia il doppiaggio in italiano, per risparmiare qualche spicciolo sulla distribuzione. Meritate che in italia non lo compri nessuno il gioco.

    Same old **** What I don't like about far cry is that the main quests have nothing to do with the story. They're repetitive, boring and feels like **** I'd give it a 5 anyway. Because the Compat is satisfying and the graphics is good on PS5.

    Believe me or not, after 20h it is the best Far Cry I have played so far. I have no doubts about that.
    Exploring all the beautiful places is just amazing. Latins atmosphere and pure gameplay are fantastic. Never expected I give it 10, because I was tired a little bit all the franchise. Honestly after my favourite 3rd Far Cry I    Update. After finish the game my final score is solid 7
    Believe me or not, after 20h it is the best Far Cry I have played so far. I have no doubts about that.

My only 2 complaints would be around the replacement of the skill tree with perk-based gear, and the weapons (I mostly played with the same 4 as many just felt underpowered) but neither really impacted my game much. I've been playing it for about 10 hours. I have managed only one stealth base capture, I'm not even sure if it's possible most of the time. So every base capture feels very unrewarding.     I can't think of a single character I like. Juan is tolerable, but Clara was annoying at first but now she's just giving mission and info she's tolerable. But I just met Jonron and she's obnoxious. I tried to kill her but impossible, I would have happily forfeited missions just to avoid that character.
    The main villain has no charisma, compared to previous villains, there's just nothing. so unlikable are the heroes I hope there's an option to let him continue dictating.
    God I miss characters like Wills Huntley, Amita, Crazy Citra, and where's Hurk?
    Jesus, it's like a 14 year old was asked what do rebels look and act like...'errr well I guess they have tats and piercings and say 'f**k you' a lot' The Poochie revolution is upon us!
    This is the last Far Cry I purchase. I think the developers either despise their customers or just can't be bothered.
    Edit: The music was annoying, found myself searching for the radios multiple times to turn them off, going to just shoot them from now on.
    Also, Spanish is not a language I speak. English first language, but can get by in German, Dutch and Korean, so why so much Spanish in this game? I don't know what a Miho is? I understand that Spanish is widely spoken in North America, but here in Europe it's not outside of Spaiin.    … Expand

    Far Cry 3… I mean 6, is just a reskin of all the past Far Cry games. Repetitive gameplay and horrible screen tearing. I’ve never had any screen tearing with any other games on my PS5. Graphics are not next-gen either. Good for passing the time but that’s it.

    I've enjoyed the previous two Far Cry games and played them to completion. Far Cry 6 has tons of things to do and will definitely keep you busy and engaged. Once you get your "long" headshot down and learn to disable alarms, the game gets easier to complete objectives. The autosave works pretty well, but an explicit save would be nice. I have a PS5 and the graphics look at least as good asI've enjoyed the previous two Far Cry games and played them to completion.     Though the game is a bit repetitive and prioritises humour over grit there would be fun to be had here. However, even after the most recent update (1.08) enemy outline bug still persists rendering the game pointless, for me. I can only compare it to doing a jigsaw puzzle with someone telling you where all the pieces go.

I was honestly looking forward to playing an open world game in the dlc from the baddies perspective. From far cry 4 onwards in main games you can approach the game like a head on tank shooting away and using your proximity explosives molotovs or getting a good sniper with silencer and approaching areas from stealth. I get why an arcade style experience works for some. I like taking on an area from stealth. the DLC 1 and 2 well this dynamic is absent. And lets be fair here it seems every shot taken at me hits. Utterly ridiculous. I'm really disappointed. Came back to FC6 dlc after completing cyberpunk. I hope dlc 3 returns to what is good about far cry or this will be the last time i buy dlc. FC6 has a beautiful massive sandbox of Yara where being the bad guy would be awesome. Yet we are forced into surreal characters heads who are already dead. Dani could have been made El Presidente and we could have experienced his/her unwillingness to take the lead in the aftermath of a dictators demise. Yet we get the mess that is Vaas and Pagan. I did manage to complete vass in 2hrs30 mins on easy. Pagan after realising i was playing the second pile of crap i didn't enjoy with Vaas i turned off and won't be going back. Fingers crossed dlc 3 plays like the FC i have come to love over the years. I do have FC 3 knocking about here somewhere. Might have to dust off the ps3 until March. Please let the last instalment make the season pass worth the money and the wait.....… Expand

Nothing cerebral, and the RPG elements are mostly lacking in this game (and for me that improves it). Like most Ubisoft games, it does have that 'lots of dots on maps' feel; and if you're into the slow grindiness, this has a good vibe. With absolutely fantastic acting, emotional storytelling, and a vibrant world to explore this game really does deliver in nearly every possible way as you can sink dozens upon dozens of hours exploring Yara in your fight to end slavery and overthrow aFar Cry 6 is an excellent story of rebellion, finding the will to fight, and unifying a country together through action rather than words. With absolutely fantastic acting, emotional storytelling, and a vibrant world to explore this game really does deliver in nearly every possible way as you can sink dozens upon dozens of hours exploring Yara in your fight to end slavery and overthrow a tyrant. Along the way you meet some really interesting companions, and some adorable animal allies called Amigos, who are definitely the heart and soul of this story. While the main plot isn't heavy, it's told in very subtle ways through continued character conversations and cutscenes between each act. There's not much more I can say about this game other than it's a journey definitely worth going on, and I definitely recommend it to any who were thinking of doing the same.… Expand

    Ok, I'm giving this game a 10. It is one of the best Far Cry I've played since the third installment.

    2 - Gameplay. Much better than the previous games. There are hundreds of missions to do and they are all fun. Yes, we have to slowly take over the map but the missions are varied and they are fun to play.

    3 - Story: I haven't beaten the game yet, however, the story up until now is entertaining and the villain is well played by a famous actor. I like the story and it is keeping me engaged.

    4 - The map is huge. I'd say it's one of the larger maps ever in a Far Cry game and there are several ways to navigate the map. Won't spoil them for you. There are dozens of unlockables and vehicles to discover. Dozens of weapons as well (more than any previous Far Cry game)

    Conclusion: This is a great Far Cry game and I want to encourage the developer by giving them a score of 10. They deserve it. They polished the game, put a lot of effort to diversify the missions, and kudos for that.    … Expand

    Despite the bad evaluation of many people, I decided to try this sequel. I have to say that the game is great - a lot of fun in a mega environment. I appreciate cool weapons, and many innovations in the game world. Great that I was not discouraged and discovered a perfect game worthy of recognition. It is primarily a fun ride full of activities and exploring. I recommend trying it.

Loads of customization with weapons, gear, vehicles etc, but a been there done that feeling. The main villain i had high hopes for but didnt impact on first appearance.

His lieutenants are equally one dimensional and while the same could be said about the Seeds, FC5 presented them in an interesting manner and gave insight as to why they were as they were. The best I can say about the lieutenants of Anton are that they are a**holes and not much more. I am through a third of the game and there is no personal connection to Anton with the main character and no personal stakes involved beyond 'Anton bad - kill everything red'. Far Cry 3 - 5 conveyed everything through the eyes of the player character, forcing the developers to add a personal element to everything they saw and did. Sometimes it got contrived (how many times did the deputy get kidnapped in 5, for example) but threats and danger felt real. 6 does everything through third person cutscenes which is jarring from previous titles and feels cheap as Dani is undeveloped as a character. Any ethical dilemmas surrounding the production and sale of 'Viviro', a miracle wonder drug that can cure cancer, is completely side stepped, as is also why a regime with seemingly endless resources has to resort to unprotected slave labour in its lethal production (notes in the game say that slave labour is necessary to keep production going rather than just a useful means of removing dissidents).

    Gameplay wise much of the map feels empty and pointless. Esperanza, the largest city in a Far Cry game, seems empty and destitute of life. There are entire 'off limits' areas in the main campaign with no guards or missions involved, making you feel like you have gone somewhere the game did not expect you to go or that it was broken. There also appears to be a lot less wildlife than previously. Hunting certain game seems resigned to set areas and as a result the crazy randomness of previous Far Cry games seems lost. The game so far is also incredibly easy, even on 'gamer mode' to the point where I have gone in guns blazing, just to have a sense of challenge. The game is set up for co-op play (and encourages it), however I fail to see what joy it would bring as the missions are blazingly easy and straightforward. Resource gathering for settlement improvements was fun at first but this is quickly becoming a chore and acts as a brake on the pace of the game as you ferret out every piece of metal and rubbish. Money is difficult to come by however if you sniff out every cache as you go, you will quickly receive most of the weapons that are available in stores. So in-game currency is split into resources (weapon modifications and settlement upgrades - desirable) and pesos (buying weapons - unnecessary). There are now two systems where one would have worked just fine. On a positive note the variety of weapons and modifications have been expanded on and there is a wide variety of customization with not just the look of your weapons but their feel and abilities. The most critical modification for any weapon is whether you have soft-tipped rounds or armour-piercing rounds. Weapons with soft-tipped rounds are useless against armoured enemies and as a result you MUST have at least one weapon with AP rounds 'attached', forcing you into a certain playstyle. The inventory menu is also a mess.

    I am a third through the game and looking further into the main story, I do not see anything really enticing me to play the rest of the game. Nothing develops with Anton's son, or Viviro or Anton himself and so I have to wonder why these elements were even included in the first place besides just feeling like placeholders for a setting where you shoot people. Far Cry 6 feels like a regression from previous titles in terms of environment, writing and action.    … Expand

А эти ретро машины просто кайф. Единственное, что мне не понравилось это женщины в армии ДИКТАТОРА. И в кат-сценах можно было сделать получше графику. А в целом мне игра понравилась… Expand

    As with most metacritic game reviews, this game isn't a 10 and isn't a 0. After 50 hours and beating it, FC6 is a solid 5. Pros:
    -World size is massive -Graphics are solid but not amazing -treasure hunts were awesome and I did them immediately when presented

    Cons:
    -VERY repetitive. Even for a FC game.
    -As someone who identifies as a lib, the politics in this game are very "16 year old read Karl Marx and made a video game about evil America and Capitalism v the righteous Revolution". It got exhausting and mind numbingly predictable.
    -Every prominent NPC was the same female caricature, skinned differently. (I played as femDani, so it was relentless).
    -removing the skill tree needs to be reversed as it had unintended, negative consequences, like making dark zone exploration worthless.
    -AI is so brutally dumb it made the game far too easy. Silently snipe a baddie and the others go on alert, but don't sound an alarm. -Gun choices are restricted to silenced, heavy hitting, distance weapons. Almost impossible to play close quarters due to random respawns.

    Ubi has lost their way. Valhalla suffered from much of the same problems. The first 10 hours are fun but then you realize you beat every mechanic and it became and exercise of identifying which mechanic you were facing for the next 40 hours.     Чем дальше сюжет, тем хуже.
    Надеялся, что новый остров будет, лучше чем в остальных частях. Максимально разочаровался в игре. Сюжет-говно. Главные персонажи-остой. Только Эль Тигро забавный песонаж.     Контент. Где ? Донат пушки ? Скины на питомцев ? Однотипные, еженедельные задания ?
    5-ая часть Дикий Плач и то интереснее и по сюжету, и по оружию.
    Супремо... Наркомания.
    В общем, считаю, что эта часть 6ой игры, должна была как DLC выйти к 3-тий части игры.    … Expand

    E estado jugando far cry 6 en ps4 y es muy bueno y divertido, no le doy un 10 por 2 razones, 1 la historia y 2 los bugs, la historia esta bien y es entretenida pero es muy simple y algunas misiones son de relleno, y menos de la mitad de los personajes son interesantes o tienen un desarrollo de personaje, lo mejor de la historia es Anton y Diego, pero personalmente pienso que tuvieron pocoE estado jugando far cry 6 en ps4 y es muy bueno y divertido, no le doy un 10 por 2 razones, 1 la historia y 2 los bugs, la historia esta bien y es entretenida pero es muy simple y algunas misiones son de relleno, y menos de la mitad de los personajes son interesantes o tienen un desarrollo de personaje, lo mejor de la historia es Anton y Diego, pero personalmente pienso que tuvieron poco tiempo en pantalla, en cuanto a los bugs, hay muchos que pueden ser muy perjudicaros, el peor que me a pasado es que el sonido de los disparos la música, la vos de los enemigos y las cinemáticas no suenan y esto me duro como unas 2 horas, pero todo lo demás esta bien.… Expand

    Every year the company has more experience making this series, yet it seems to get worse. This one is no exception. To add to this they went full on woke. I guess I either need to stop buying Ubisoft games, or make read reviews before I purchase. Enough companies making good games, so will probably do the former.

I told myself I'd never buy another Ubisoft game after pathetic AC Valhalla besides Far Cry games because I really enjoy them. To my horror, I realised they took every fun aspects of the Far Cry series and replaced them with similar things that made me hate the new gen ACs. Enemies have weaknesses,I don't usually review a game before finishing it but I'll make an exeption for this one. I told myself I'd never buy another Ubisoft game after pathetic AC Valhalla besides Far Cry games because I really enjoy them. Enemies have weaknesses, YOU CAN'T HEADSHOT KILL STRONGER ENEMIES, and there are no skill trees anymore. Game looks straight up ugly, is buggy, has a boring story with uninteresting side quests and has shameless in game microtransactions. I'm done with Ubisoft, they have everything they need to make masterpieces but they prefer shortcuts and money, they won't have mine anymore. I'd give the game a 5 but since almost every single game they released in the last 5 years are awfuly boring, repetitive and basicaly the same thing with different skin, I'll give Ubisoft a big 0.… Expand

    Esse Farcry ficou muito bom. O retorno do mini mapa é algo ótimo. O personagem fazer parte da história novamente também é algo que ajuda a trazer mais profundidade para a história do jogo. Vale muito a pena jogar, os gráficos estão ótimos e tem muitas possibilidades novas no jogo que vão além de tudo que havia no farcry anterior.

    The game is literally a shiny turd. Looks amazing at times but, the gameplay, AI, mechanics and all the things that make a game are just so bad. Typical Ubisoft game. If you’ve played far cry 3 then you’ve played this. Big miss. Only redeeming factor is Giancarlo.

Враги возрождаются в 10 метрах от того места, где их только что убили. Бронебойные патроны наносят МЕНЬШЕ урона незащищенным целям. Игру делали наркоманы для наркоманов? Раньше я любил эту серию.     Had enough of their stupid bugs, half finished game with glitches. They should have finished the game and released it. They updated game and now there is an selection cursor on screen. Same kind of crap happened with Valhalla and the arrows in game... I love the game-play and it doesn't bother me for them making the same game over and over.     Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
