In order to convey the trial-and-error process of growth and self-reflection, Pagan: Control pays tribute to the rougelite genre, meaning each death as Min sends the player back to the start of the DLC with only their accumulated knowledge and skills to help guide them through their second (and third, and fourth...) time around. Last but not least, Far Cry 4 fans may be interested to know Min's original voice actor, Troy Baker, will be returning to the Far Cry series for this performance. Expand

Where the Insanity DLC seemed like a great change of pace compared to the main game and was perfectly suited to the subject matter, Control lets the side down by just being a retread. However, the action is still great and fans of the series will enjoy how it fills in aspects of Pagan's story.

Lets start off with what I like about it the setting is beautiful. Don’t get me wrong about that considering that far cry 4 is my favorite farLets start off with what I like about it the setting is beautiful. Don’t get me wrong about that considering that far cry 4 is my favorite far cry of all time I was excited for this one the most, but I was also kinda disappointed. The reason why is because its no different than Vaas: Insanity basically just that with a new coat of paint. I also wish ajay made more of an appearance besides at the end or when you do the statues. Otherwise it isn’t bad just not the most exciting thing in the world. Expand

As soon as I found out it was like the first DLC with Vaas I was extremely angry that I bought ultimate edition. Worst Far cry game since Primal.
