Jun 22, 2026Deer & Boy is a fine example of the saying that “it’s the journey that matters, not the destination.” Although its narrative is highly predictable, LifeLine Games’ debut title is nonetheless a captivating experience that skillfully blends the minimalism of Limbo with the emotional depth of Planet of Lana to deliver the kind of adventure we love. Simple, certainly, but moving, at times clever in its approach, and above all, really intense.

Jun 22, 2026Emotional and poignant, Deer & Boy is much more than a tale of friendship between the two wonderful protagonists. This platforming puzzler has a lot in common with the likes of Limbo and Planet of Lana, and if you're a fan of games of their ilk, you'll do well to give this one a go, too.
