Nov 26, 2023Christmas Massacre is a magnificent disaster. Puppet Combo's latest effort can't even remotely compete with sacred monsters like Hotline Miami, but that doesn't mean it's a product to ignore. In fact, it is a short and affordable experience whose purchase could be considered by those who want nothing more than to have a laugh, perhaps in the company of some friends and in the midst of the Christmas holidays.

Nov 20, 2023Something a little bit different from Puppet Combo, Christmas Massacre puts the shoe on the other foot, putting you in the position of power in a retro-horror setting. You’re the killer here. You’re the villain. Instead of fighting for your own life, you’re seeking to put an end to others’. It proves to be a challenging and morbidly enjoyable endeavour, even if the the game itself isn’t the most mechanically robust. If you’ve got the stomach for it and enjoy the macabre, Christmas Massacre is definitely worth giving a go. At the very least, it’ll let you release some steam if you get stressed this Christmas.

Nov 30, 2023It’s nice to see Puppet Combo mess around and make whatever they want to because what are these games if not investigative deconstructions and crazed experiments, but next to the greats like Babysitter Bloodbath, Nun Massacre, and The Glass Staircase, Christmas Massacre sits closer to the bottom of the list alongside Samhain and the likes.
