    Actual garbage game, especially on release. There should be no reason that a trilogy of games or basic re-skins of games that have been made before I was born should be this bad, I'm 20 why is a million dollar company doing this bad on a re-skin of cod overall this bad, the warzone is so bad and inconsistent that they can't even balance things half decent. The map layouts are messy and poorly layed out leaving you running into a sniper spot that overlooks 50-90%of the map completely cutting out any level of competitiveness, and speaking of, SBMM has completely erased the variety of matches, leaving you in a loop of getting steam rolled until your average KD lowers to the point to where you have a decent Mach then right back to the sweat box for what seems like a solid 72 hours. If you fee you might want this, just wait another 6months when the game maybe might work a little better and maybe just maybe activision decides to actually balance their $70 dollar “TRIPPLE A” title… Expand

    I can honestly say that after growing up with multiple COD games, this one takes the cake for being the worst. They released an unfinished game…menus glitchy, laggy lobbies (all my other games play smooth), and just some of the worst gunfight logic I have ever seen in my life. I highly recommend that YOU DO NOT buy this game, as I think the game is worth $20 with the amount of work putI can honestly say that after growing up with multiple COD games, this one takes the cake for being the worst.     Old maps, all the random buffing of players and god awfull hit detection with random damage. Nothing new but a really bad UI. Maps are boring and this game turned into a pointles grind in under 2 weeks. I really wanted to enjoy this game but its either sweaty lobbies with artificial lag or a room full of campers, or all the listed above together.     Where do I start, this is possibly one of the worst COD games to release in some time. I never understood when they thought it was a good idea to make cod games more realistic, as that has never been their selling point. They had a system that worked before, it was called pick ten. If a perk was good, it would take up two slots, sometimes three meaning, you'd have fewer options to choose from i.e maybe you couldn't care about a lethal or a tactical. there are hundreds of different attatchments to choose from. of those hundreds, 95% of utterly usless. Also, why should I unlock an smg, to get an attacthment for an ar? there is no correlation between those weapons. I could understand battle rifles and ar's, marksman rifles and snipers sure, but that is stupid. Not to mention to unlock certain attatchments you also need to level a pistol. Makes 0 sense. Not. One. Good. Map. Not to mention only 9 on release, now there's 11 yay, oh wait their old maps that have already been in the game and somehow, they made them worse due to how **** their spawn system works. The sun on some maps, is blinding to the point you can't see three feet in front of you. Let me not get started on all the bugs that happen, the crashing that is still occuring from time to time, random lag spikes, and frame drops. How does a multimillion dollar game company screw up time and time again? Epic games with fortnite was able to come out of pretty much no where, and make the most popular game for almost 5 years straight. The devs do not listen to the community, it is evident. If they did, the games would be fun to play. only reason this gets a 4/10 is because the campaign was fantastic. That is it though. No other redeeming quality about this game.… Expand

    These game has too much issues that made it unplayable for my side, the first issue, when i look right or left it will take 1sec to look even though mu custom is 7 I tried everything to fix it I also deleted the game and redownload it again still the issue there.     Unenjoyable. Lazy execution. Maps are tired. Matchmaking is terrible. Lag spikes (due to poor matchmaking) makes it borderline unplayable.

Campaign & Story: The Story is terrible with logical fallacies everywhere such as when in the missions Close Air and Hardpoint, your objective is to capture Major Hassan Zyani who leads the fake terrorist group in the game Al-Qatala, after capturing Hassan, a cutscene plays in which General Shephard says that Zyani can't be imprisoned and that it would be an act of war and that he has broken no laws both of which are completely incorrect, first off the US is already in a war against Al-Qatala so who would the act of war be towards??? Second, Zyani broke 5 laws that are in 1 mission alone those being arson, attempted murder, being in a **** terrorist group, illegally crossing the US-Mexico border, and ordering another terrorist to fire a rocket launcher at cops. All of those are crimes so idk what they are talking about. Also, why would Shephard send us on the mission if he knew we couldn't hold Zyani??? The rest of the story is bland, dumb, unoriginal, and boring, the thing that saves the campaign is the gameplay/level design. I genuinely can't think of a mission in MW2 that wasn't fun!

    Multiplayer: The multiplayer is incredibly fun! All of the guns feel great, shooting people feels great as it's always been, all of the guns feel like they matter, I think that almost every gun is viable in some way. There was a severe lack of maps and game modes at launch with there only being 13 multiplayer maps (10 multi, 3 ground war/invasion) and only 8 modes with only 3 of them being new modes. This lack of maps and modes is less than we have seen in almost any other COD game. Also, this might just be a bug on my part however I am unable to play the new control mode in anything other than private matches. All of the maps are good except for the Santa Sena Border Crossing map which is just a large lane filled with cars which makes movement clunky and if you use a grenade launcher, rpg, or grenade spam with restock, you can just throw grenades/other explosives and get tons of kills, other than that all of the maps are pretty good. The game does seem to be punishing aggressive players for some reason.

    Gunsmith & Weapon Progression: Weapon progression is SOOOOO dumb, to unlock the Minibak you have to get your account to level 23 to unlock the Kastov 762 (AK47), get the Kastov 762 to level 12 which unlocks the Kastov 545, get the Kastov 545 to level 13 to unlock the Kastov-74U to level 15 which unlocks the Vaznev-9K to level 14 which unlocks the Minibak! The weapon progression is **** unlocking guns take forever along with attachments. Tuning is fun and adds a new level of customization to your gun. Only other thing I will say is that it kinda seems like attachments just make your guns worse.

    Co-Op: Co-Op is laughable, less so than MW2019 but still terrible. At launch there were only 3 missions! 2 new missions were added as of 11/16/22 but only 3 missions! I honestly belived that Co-Op/spec ops were just going to be cut entirely because of how bad it was in mw2019. There was and still is no survival mode which is odd but kinda expected after seeing how little content there is in Co-Op.

    Other Issues: The UI is terrible and reminds me of Hulu for some reason, it is VERY clunky trying to navigate the menus. This is just a rumor but there might be skill-based damage as players are experiencing that their bullets will deal more damage after a long streak of losses and/or deaths and vice versa. Skill-based matchmaking is terrible and seems to put you in lobbies that are in your previous matches k/d instead of lifetime/last 10 games. Example: You get a 1.3 k/d in a match, next match you get put up against a bunch of people who also got 1.3 k/ds last matches aka people who are absolute DEMONS at this game, then you get a 0.7 k/d and get put up against a bunch of other people who also got a 0.7 k/d last match aka people who are either really bad or really new. This just keeps repeating itself and leaves you in a constant loop of pain and happiness. Crashing in this game is INCREDIBLY common. I don't think I've had a single game that didn't have bugs/glitches. When I was playing the campaign, my game kept crashing during a specific moment in the mission Violence and Timing, when I looked up the error code that had appeared, it told me to uninstall the game and then reinstall it. After doing so (which took several hours) I tried the mission again and it didn't work. I was eventually able to fix it but crashes and glitches in this game are so rampant that it is almost unforgivable. They also locked 2 guns behind a paywall in the battle pass which means that it is pay to win and one of the guns that were locked behind the battle pass is the only sniper that can one shot to the head in warzone (all other snipers only break 3 armor plates).

    I cannot recommend this. The maps are so cluttered, and shipment has severe spawning issues. The sweats and people in the online are unbearable. Just people that make politics their whole personality. Or they want to harass minorities. I emailed Activision about some highly offensive user names, and no reply yet. This game is still the same cookie cutter embarrassment it has always been.

    A really solid cod game but also a really solid FPS overall. If I could pick out anything I don’t like it would be the crashing at release, interface, weapon progression and kill streaks in every mode. Other than that it’s a pretty good Call of Duty game. Definitely worth the money!

    A downgrade on MW2019. No gunfight, worse perks, less guns (unless you count 20 variations of the same thing), ruined ground war, no night maps, weird campaign and lies about a 2 year cycle when guaranteed they're going to release a $70 add-on next October because charging $20 for a skin isn't greedy enough for these parasites.

    You support this and you get what you deserve.

Oh though the campaign was kinda confusing it made sense what it was trying to lead up too and what it was trying to tell, unlike Bo3 and the gameplay and art was a 10/10.     They have used, abused and generally disrespected the OGs, and given the modern world, a pretty, but non-practical game.

    Nobody talks in Multiplayer, and games are over, unless you are the person, to carry ungrateful bastards to Victory.

    I am not, and never will be. You better follow an order, or fall out of favor.
    I'd like to see one get abandoned in a real Warzone, and see how they'll react.

    If you can't take a game serious, then what can you take serious?

    Quit the game, go to the Home Screen, and delete it. Either that, or play Soios ALWAYS.

    I hope some day, those kinds of individuals, feel one day, what I felt. Betrayed, down, and dirty.

    Modern warfare 2 has a really bad multiplayer experience which punishes you for trying to be aggressive. Grinding the battle pass takes too long with you only being able to gain 1 token in an hour which makes grinding the battle pass feel like a part time job. The best way to play this game is by camping otherwise you'll be dying every second by people who camp.

    Warzone is awful.
    And multiplayer is ok. The game also lacks any content and most of the content they label as "new" was already there in MW2019 so its not new your reusing content and labeling it as "new".

    One benefit is youll never have a shortage of things to buy, even when youre lagging on your way into the laughable servers with your new 20$ skins and rose-colored glasses.

    Theyve accrued billions in assets and choose to neglect even the most basic of necessities for an online multi-player shooter.

    Stop giving these vultures your dollars and time, and perhaps maybe we'll see an overall uptick in the qualitative nature of the game, as opposes to the quantitative dollar counting they appear to be more content in doing.    … Expand

    Quand on télécharge le jeu, on n'installe pas Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II, on télécharge Warzone, le jeu vendu 80€ est en réalité le DLC d'un jeu gratuit. De plus après être arrivé à la moitié de la campagne, ma sauvegarde a été supprimée en relançant le jeu !! Activision se fout de notre gueule

    The biggest weakness of this version of Call of Duty can definitely be its story. The story had an interesting beginning, but then the story begins to decline with a significant trend and there are only one or two more times that the story of the game can attract you.

    I love the series and im very sad that the prime is over science 2016... the good part is that without looking at microtransactions and toxic community we still got two very decent CODs.. and this is one of them.

    I liked it at first, it had a big old sandbox of game modes and the dmz was a fun new addition however I bought this on the premise that we were told it would be a two year game then not long after release they scrapped that.     The seasons are now all shortened with rehashed and rushed "content" using the same old maps we've had in previous games as they don't care anymore, they've made their money. Trying to grind through the battle passes with half the time I'd normally have is an utter joke so I've just stopped playing and won't be returning to the franchise. Being lied to and scammed like that tends to leave a bad taste!    … Expand

    Game started of slow, but they have added a filter which means you can play 10v10 only.. this makes the huge maps for fast pace and fun. Next wish list is of you can vote for maps. Also, I like grind, domination, hardpoint and I hate team death match. If I could choose 10v10 and those good modes that would be perfect. 9/10 until we can vote for maps and combo 10v10 with good modes.

    SBMM, katastrophale Maps, ein völlig unnötig komplexer Klasseneditor, In-Game-Käufe zu horrenden Preisen und die Tatsache, dass dieser Teil für fast 24    Seit knapp 10 Jahren spiele ich COD - davon 4 Jahre kompetitiv. Doch was in sich Activision bei den letzten 4 Ablegern gedacht hat, kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Die Entwicklung die der FPS nimmt ist mehr als besorgniserregend.

    SBMM, katastrophale Maps, ein völlig unnötig komplexer Klasseneditor, In-Game-Käufe zu horrenden Preisen und die Tatsache, dass dieser Teil für fast 24 Monate aktuell bleiben wird sind für mich der Sargnagel in diesem Franchise. Da kann auch eine gewohnt passable und actionreiche Kampagne nicht darüber hinweg täuschen. Der Multiplayer allerdings ist ein Schatten seiner selbst.

    Unskippable Intro Cut scenes for a game mode i don't play. even when i uninstall it. it wastes on average 1.5 mins of my time. Used to be an option to Skip Cutscenes that had to be enabled hidden in the options. They quietly removed that option.

    This sad excuse for a AAA title has maybe a few positives: the mastery camo, gunplay, and campaign. The negatives are endless, especially how Infinity Ward and Activision destroyed the 6v6 multiplayer game mode.

    Let's be honest, there's really no bigger title to compete in the FPS genre at the moment, both in terms of the sometimes mediocre content and this year's very polished graphics. [Issue#324]

    A somewhat droll campaign will greet players of Modern Warfare II. It's a short bombastic romp with some fun gunplay moments and fantastic graphics. The multiplayer, however, is a miss as it is no longer a properly combined entity and the lack of replayability is disappointing. A recommendation for CoD fans but for anyone even slightly on the fence perhaps keep shopping or waiting for a sale.

    CoD MW 2 is a refreshing single-player experience, providing players with some of the best action-packed moments and great characters, but riddled with multiplayer balancing issues and extreme performance and technical problems. It still is CoD and is fun for anyone who finds its casual shooting gameplay compelling, but it plays safely and doesn’t present itself as something revolutionary for the franchise.
