    One of the best games of all time. It is short and there isn't any hardcore gaming going on but it's a fun platformer with great music that is a love letter to all things PlayStation. If you've grown up playing PlayStation, you'll love this game.

Astro’s Playroom is an engaging experience, full of polished platforming fun, an excellent soundtrack, and yes, a wonderful showcase of the DualSense controller’s capabilities. And to top it off, it also offers plenty of replay value. When I first turned on my PS5, I had planned toWho would have expected that a preloaded console controller demo would end up being a truly fantastic game?     Fun game and amazing for people that know they'll PlayStation history , I got a platinum it because I just enjoyed it that much and I cannot recommend it more it is free so you have no excuse not to play it

    Very fun game which is free for PS5 owners. It is both simple and fun to play. I even made my mom and dad play the game who did not play any video games before. There are so many different maps to play and they are very carefuly designed. There are lots of easter eggs in the game. This game is my first plat. I recommend it to everyone who has PS5.

    Astro's Playroom is a 3D platformer that comes pre-installed on all PlayStation 5 consoles. It’s only a couple of hours long, but as a demonstration of the capabilities of the new Duel Sense controller and a celebration of the history of PlayStation its pretty effective.

    Astro`s Playromm ist ein extrem gutes Spiel, es setzt den Dualsense Controller richtig gut in Szene, spielerisch macht es mega Spaß und auch die Grafik ist wirklich sehr gut.
    Ich habe das Spiel mit einer Platin Trophäe durchgespielt und alleine das zeigt schon wie geil ich dieses Spiel fand, Astro fand ich schon im VR Ableger richtig gut, jetzt wo es aber auch ein Non Vr Spiel gibt, das    Astro`s Playromm ist ein extrem gutes Spiel, es setzt den Dualsense Controller richtig gut in Szene, spielerisch macht es mega Spaß und auch die Grafik ist wirklich sehr gut.

    (In my opinion of course), Astro Bot is a game brand that with each game shows the capabilities of each accessory and console that comes out of the brand game, for example the previous game of the brand Astro Bot Rescue Mission that came out on the PlayStation VR platform showed its capabilities and even showed that VR Can be an extraordinary experience. And now Astro's Playroom has arrived on the PlayStation 5 and showed us all the capabilities of the console and the new remote, in the new game you can find robots with camera caps and if we look at what they shoot we can see that they recreate excerpts from PlayStation games from all PlayStation long history. And consoles from PlayStation history.
    In short Astro's Playroom is an extraordinary experience that in my opinion anyone who buys a PlayStation 5 must play the game first or if there is anyone who has not played even though he has a PlayStation 5 must play, the game is an amazing experience not to be missed!!!    … Expand

    A cute, short, and tight platforming experience that impressively shows off the Dual Sense and is a glorious celebration of all things Playstation. Would have kept playing this for 10 more hours if it were longer.

    Truly a wonderful experience for gamers of any age and preference. I'm a 33 year old male ARPG enthusiast and I actually take time from Demon's Souls to play this haha. I haven't smiled and laughed so much while playing a game in a long time! A combination of fun and revolutionary gameplay, experiencing the truly next-gen dual sense controller, and the pure charm of the experience gets aTruly a wonderful experience for gamers of any age and preference.     Its cool to see all the history of playstation and feels good to collect all that and have it in your game and the game is decent fun sometimes but beside that its not very good.     Fun, addictive and an amazing showcase for the Dualsense controller. There are so many references to the games and consoles of the past in this colorful world. It showed me all the great experiences I had with Playstation in the past. What a way to start this generation!

    Pros: - Atmosphere - Level design - Colorful worlds - Use of Dualsense - Addictive for completionists - Pure    Fun, addictive and an amazing showcase for the Dualsense controller. There are so many references to the games and consoles of the past in this colorful world. It showed me all the great experiences I had with Playstation in the past. What a way to start this generation!

The game can likely be summed up as a "collectathon-lite" with some platforming elements thrown in for good measure.     As a person usually obsessed with playing fantasy action-RPGs and minmaxing characters, I was blown away over the speed in which Astro's Playroom put a smile on my face, and the length of time that it kept that smile going.     A very nice game that works as a demo for the new functions of the DualSense. Crazy haptic feedback & adaptative triggers. It also has a lot built around nostalgia and it's a very easy Platinum trophy to get! It comes pre installed in the PS5 so, it's a must play!

    This is simply a playstaion fanboys dream showcase. The best showcase possible with insane dualsense and adaptive triggers implementation. I would rank this 10/10, but it's simply too short and also it does lack depth, but that is expected for a free showcase game.

    Perfect game to start with, teaches how to use the DualSense controller. Very intuitive, even for a 3 year old to play as his first game ever and easy enough to finish.

    This game was truly amazing. Getting the platinum for it as a long time playstation fan was well worth it and I was able to find and understand just about every Easter egg in the game. Truly a masterpiece and I want more from ASTRO. I want a full game or a sequel of some sort.

    No story or anything like that, a really unique game that mainly introduces you into the Ps5 harware. Probably one of the most creative games i've played so far. Although i feel like there could have been better level design i feel like they could have added another section. Now onto the way to express itself. This game reminds me of an arcade game, why? Because its infinite re-playability, it even gives you a speedrun mode once you've beaten the boss. Now, you cant play this game without mentioning the references. The amount of exclusives mentioned in this game makes you think about what is to come in the future... Colecting and trying to 100% this game was a fun scavanger hunt and was really satysfying at the end, it shows off the history of playstation in such a fun way and im sure OG playstation fans were having a blast playing this, just as i was.… Expand

    Astro’s Playroom is a Nintendo-esque demonstration of the insane levels of immersion and nuance that PS5 brings to the table and is just as much fun to play (if not more!) as anything with Mario in the title in years. If it was a full 10-15 hour game it would be a genuine 10/10 game all day long.

    If you’ve only just managed to lay your hands on Sony’s latest console, congratulations! Now do yourself a favour and be sure you play this generous pack-in title before before it’s too late and you suddenly realise that you’re drowning in a backlog of PS5 exclusives.    … Expand

    This game made me laugh out loud so many times. Such a cute game that comes pre-loaded into your PS5! I even got the platinum trophy for it. Short and sweet!

    Honestly I hadn't had this much fun with a game in a long time. My only complaint is that I wish it was a full blown game and not just 3hrs plus about 1.5hrs of finding collectibles.

    Pretty nice litte demo. It is no doubt the best way to check out the new Dual Sense controller on PS5. The levels and general gameplay is quite diverse. The graphics on the other hand very basic. Generally speaking, good game.

    I expected to hate it. I thought it was vapid shovelware but I was wrong. It is a charming love letter to the playstation's history and is a great demo of all of the new ps5 controller functions. The haptic feedback is great. You can feel the grass as you trot along, the wind as you struggle against it and the water as you dive in. You can feel the grass as you trot along, the wind as you struggle against it and the water as you dive in. I did not expect the poignant 'oof' moments this game gave me as it showcased just how far PS and the gamer have come. It is like if mario galaxy morphed into a love letter to playstation. It is short but considering the depth of things to do its the perfect solution for parents who want to keep their kids away from their Demon's Souls save files. I dare anyone to not be charmed by this. It gets a 6 on the basis that it is a tech demo but it is more than that would suggest. If they doubled the size and marketed it to kids it could be a huge hit.

Es única.

    Y así pueden mencionarse otros muchos ejemplos, pero Astro es una experiencia que debe vivirse de primera mano.

    Eso sí, es un juego mas bien corto. Aunque intenso es jugabilidad.

    GRÁFICOS:
    Bonita gama de colores, y buen diseño visual que es agradable pero no destaca por ser precisamente asombroso como sí que lo han tenido otro tipo de plataformers (Rayman Legends o Tearaway)

    Hay detalles bonitos, como que las gotas de lluvia formen los símbolos clásicos de la franquicia, que es algo que no puede dejar de mencionarse. Pero en general es un juego que no destaca por su apartado artístico.

    SONIDO:
    Tanto el soundtrack que emana del televisor, como los efectos de sonido que lo hacen del DualSense son dignos de un plataformer de culto. Piezas bien hechas, adictivas, apropiadas y divertidas.

    Y, aunque la música es buena, lo maravilloso son los efectos de sonido de cada nivel.

    INNOVACIÓN:
    Los guiños a juegos clásicos de Playstation son un homenaje que se agradece. Sony de verdad que ha lanzado uno de los mejores plataformers de los últimos años, y es un juego que se disfrutará especialmente por quienes hemos experimentado las consolas Sony desde sus inicios.    … Expand

    Endearing, nostalgic, and very fun. Astrobot is a phenomenal pack-in game, and I never got bored in the 5.5 hours it took me to platinum. I can only hope full, AAA games use the Dualsense to the same extent shown here.

    Jesus, what a huge Playstation nostalgia rush! These guys sure know how to build a legacy and a public image! Gameplay is short and sweet, basically Astro's VR stuff in just 2D, but with the amazing new controller.

    A real premium experience for what is essentially a free game. The perfect PS5 showcase, the game is such a great intro to the PS5 and is really fun. I loved the references throughout to the history of PlayStation.

    What better way to explore your new long awaited console than with Astro's Playroom? Thank you Sony for taking a page out of Nintendo's playbook. The last time I had this much fun with an out of the box Tech Demo was Wii Sports back in 2006.

    A very good showcase of the amazing features of Dualsense 5. I enjoyed this game just because it used those mechanics very often and in big variety. That was the purpose after all. As a game, it's fun to play as well.

    A beautiful showcase for the new generation of Sony's gaming console. So many hidden details hinting at the history of Playstation, very thoughtful and creative level-design as well as a catchy soundtrack. Absolutely exceeded my expectations considering it's a freebie for every PS5 buyer.

    I really hope Sony keep this IP alive and bring us more delight chapters of one of the best surprises last years. Oh, and just a note: I was the only one of my friends circle who said this it will be a great game when it was announced. And my feeling was right!

Loads of PlayStation nostalgia thrown into the mix too to ignite the 'feels'. Considering this comes with the PS5, it's a perfect way to kick off the new generation

    Kudos to Sony for giving ps5 owners a triple A quality game for free. The graphics really shows the power and capability of ps5.     This game is a true masterpiece, and a tribute for those who are long fans of Playstation. The Easter Eggs, the attention to detail, the game design, the haptic feedback, the art direction, along with soundtracks are things that makes this one of the best games I have ever played. It made me feel like a child again, back when games had another concept.

    "Tech demo" is an insult to this gem. This is worthy to be called a game in and of itself. Short but oh so sweet, a good platforming with loads of nostalgic easter eggs. I really hope they make a full blown game with similar mechanics and gameplay. An easy 10/10

    The best cartoon platformer after RC (on par with it when it comes to being transformative experience and smoothness of gameplay wise ) I actually liked the gameplay more than astro bot VR (the world feels more alive and the dynamic interactions between little astros is so SATISFYINGLY cute and fun

It is good to take a break from "real" grim titles like Cyberpunk, to just remind yourself what gaming really is about – joy and relax.

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.
