    this is the worst assassins creed i've ever played, this saga is getting more boring by every game they drop, you can't play it more than 2 hours after you get bored, the graphics are disapointing and the story is the worst of everything

    Terrible game, mind numbingly boring repetitive gameplay and story, this is far from an AC game just like odyssey, it is a Viking fantasy RPG with a sprinkle of mythology and generous dash of microtransactions. Seems like this game has been the final nail in the coffin regarding Darby's departure from Ubisoft, hopefully he joins a team that will give him freedom to create the story heTerrible game, mind numbingly boring repetitive gameplay and story, this is far from an AC game just like odyssey, it is a Viking fantasy RPG with a sprinkle of mythology and generous dash of microtransactions. Seems like this game has been the final nail in the coffin regarding Darby's departure from Ubisoft, hopefully he joins a team that will give him freedom to create the story he wants to create. It is hard not to see this game as a money grabbing tool that Ubisoft have created with the Helix store, limiting the amount of content (armour sets, weapons) in the base game then adding all other content behind pay walls is disgusting charging £10 - £15 per armour pack for a 'singleplayer' game, I wrote a post on reddit and made a petition regarding this if you want to know more follow the links below I go little further imln depth regarding the matter.     Last gen graphics with even worse combat mechanics. Assassins creed odyssey is SIGNIFICANTLY better and this is supposedly a ps5 title??? I’m playing it on a 4k HDR tv and a brand new ps5 and it looks mediocre at best. They clearly just tried to rush another assassins creed out the door so they can get you with their stupid micro transactions store.     the graphics are really good but the gameplay and storytelling is boring af i regret every time when i bought assassin's creed cuz it's the same feeling every time

    The ideas behind this game are good verging on great. However, the execution is very lackluster. I encountered gameplay halting bugs that made it near impossible to play the game properly. Things like climbing through an open window, talking to an essential NPC, or trying to loot a crate during a raid are impossible because of glitches I keep encountering.

    Terrible game,boring, bloated, irrelevant and pointless narrative. It's a game out of the blue. This got nothing to do with Assassin's Creed. Hack and slash and more hack and slash.

    An absolute broken mess. I would love this game if not for the staggering amount of game breaking bugs. At first it seems ok, just a little bug here and there but as you progress it gets worse and worse to the point where you simply cannot complete certain tasks. This is not a "fake review" like all the 10/10s say. This game is so buggy its unplayable.

    Boring boring ubisoft! We re playing the same game with different skins every two years. Black flag was the last ac decent game. Valhalla is faraway from ac lore. Eivor is a ruthless conqueror who kills innocent villagers. He doesn't serve the light, he is the darkness itself ght, he is the darkness itself

Worst game I’ve ever seen...not just the graphics (which are poor not to say less than that) but the textures, the storyline, the movement, the game itself HOW COULD I SPEND MONEY IN THIS????? Lord forgive me because I’m stupid, I spent good money in a horrific game while children in Africa are starving. I don’t know how the developers of this game can sleep at night...that’s the only surprise of this game but of course I can imagine how, on a golden cushion paid with my money.

    The game is 70% fun i like the graphic , the mechanics ,combat and the town progresion
    But there are cuple - :
    - Enemies are unbalanced like spear guy
    - enemy menceneries are also unbalanced , when you have 250 power he can still easyly beat you
    - a lot! of bugs

    It could be the best game of the series, but ubisoft decided to release the game with a ton of bugs, and don't take me wrong here, Sono of the bugs are harmless and even funny, but there are quite few bugs that make your character unable to dodge or attack, or move, and also there is a of bugs that just make it impossible to progress with the main story linelot

I only get " we are working on it" shame on me thought to have bought it before its in a better status. I am really disappointed. but not surprised. When it works it is really fun game.     I have not played Assassins for a long time, and decided to buy them because I like the theme of the Vikings

    Pros: Interesting introduction and the first hours of the game, cool voice acting of Eyvor-guy and in general - a pleasant main character Minuses: Outdated wooden graphics, looks frankly bad against the background of more modern games Absolutely pointless side quests    I have not played Assassins for a long time, and decided to buy them because I like the theme of the Vikings

    Pros:

    Interesting introduction and the first hours of the game, cool voice acting of Eyvor-guy and in general - a pleasant main character

    Minuses:
    Outdated wooden graphics, looks frankly bad against the background of more modern games

    Absolutely pointless side quests that cause nothing but facepalm, and seem to be 10-year-olds

    Unfortunately - a stupid plot, interesting only at the beginning and becoming more boring further

    Tons of grind and constant artificial stretching of gameplay, even in story missions

    I tried to score on all the side missions and go strictly according to the plot, but at some point I just could not stand the meaninglessness of the actions that move the plot progress

    The whole game resembles stupid and meaningless crap, in the process I constantly caught myself thinking - "why am I now doing what I am doing, and why should I not give a **** about these characters"    … Expand

    A game is so repetitive, so devoid of any genuine ideas. A broken lighting system, innumerable bugs, and gross historical inaccuracies top off a thoroughly flawed experience. Do not be fooled by the slick marketing for this game.

There are certain quests that have been bugged since release that Ubisoft STILL has not fixed, but they keep pushing updates to sell cosmetics.

    Online features don't work. If you want them to work you have to do the job of a Ubisoft employee to even attempt to get it to work.

    There's fun to be had in this game, but ultimately it contains a game-breaking bug many hours in that can't be skipped and hasn't been patched 4 months after release. The bug is cross-platform, and thousands of users are affected. Therefore I can't recommend this game on any level.

    The game is full of bugs, one in particular is very serious and does not allow you to proceed in the game. Basically it's like throwing money and 90 hours of gameplay.
    I will never buy again an ubisoft game!

    Why I cannot use weapons riding horses? Why some enemies refill their life bar without a reason? Why is the storyline so boring? Why should I fall into water if I'm climbing a mountain? Why???
    Because this game is broken and boring.
    I love the saga, and this is an enormous step back!

    The worst animations I've ever seen, the game forces you to pay like donate gear is better and more beautiful, a bunch of subpoenas, women look like mutants, everything is very long, side quests are very short.

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
