Like what did some of these people expect from Valhalla? To go back to Assassin's Creed Revelations? Are you kidding me? They would NEVER do that. Never. Most people (all the gamers who never cared about Ezio) started to care about AC when 4th one came out. That huge map, pirate theme and 1715 era was actually interesting. I love how none of these Valhalla haters never mention Black Flag, because it would automatically destroy every argument they possible could have. They know that people like Black Flag. Odyssey was a joke and everyone knows that. Valhalla was step in right direction and that direction was never going to be going back to anything that happened before Black Flag. Assassin's Creed is important and popular because of three games, these are - Black Flag (best map and main character), Unity - (best graphics and parkour) and Origins (it was different from previous ones). So yeah, these are the three options Ubisoft has. They will never go back to AC 1 style and you guys know why? Because it wouldn't sell even half that Valhalla did, that's why. AC 1 is outdated and boring and it never that good anyway, so it's literally time to move on. It is very likely they go back to something like Unity / Syndicate, while having some Black Flag elements like you can still have a boat or something. That would be perfect balance, but to go back to AC 1? Never, absolutely never. Expand

    Pretty good game! I wish it wasn't so long, because i feel like this game has little bit too much content, so maybe in next game less content, but more focused content and less random stuff. Other than that, it's fun, beautiful, open world.

    Thank god Ubisoft is still making games with normal combat, for people who actually have real life as well. I'm so sick and tired of these awful Souls games that have absolutely worst combat possible, i don't have time to fight every boss 30 times to learn their patterns, no thank you. Hopefully Ubisoft doesn't change and go that Souls route, then i would give up this series for sure. La historia del juego es muy buena, el mapa es enorme y las actualizaciones que ha ido recibiendo el juego lo ha hecho mejorar poco a poco. Un gran juego al que jugar decenas de horas si te gusta explorar y perderte por los mapas de los juegos.

    Pros: Cons:
    -World design -A lot of bugs and glitches
    -Traversal -Kind of gory
    -Voice acting -A lot of pay-to-win microtransactions
    -Writing
    -Combat
    -Difficulty
    Overall a pretty great game

    Great open world game, history accurate and very engaging. Interesting, ambitious script and gameplay. You entirely control the way you want to play it, thus comments saying it's a grind are funny, because someone chose such gameplay. Beautiful vistas, map is very much alive, though cluttered and may scare some.

    Suprisingly amazing game, if we exclude all microtransactions, dlc and bugs, i ve got platinum trophy for this game. I spent nearly 10 hours on it. And I say - it worth it. The lore of the AC series is developing in a satisfactory way. It's very unexpected.

    CLEARLY the best AC yet. Gameplay is tweaked, everything is very close to Odyssey but improved!
    Loved the open world, the freedom to take on different areas of England, going to Ireland, France and other parts in Dlcs (recommend getting them) and the Norse lore to that. Well done Ubisoft!

    I really dont u nderstand this score. This game is 3 steps back against Odysse. There is too much bugs and glitches one per hour. When you fighting you fell like this game has no physic. Heavy enemy flying like paper. There are any foot steps in the dirt. NPC are totaly stupid. See videos about it. If you compare this scrap agains other Owords, then you have to see that this is like badI really dont u nderstand this score. This game is 3 steps back against Odysse. I had not played an AC since the pirates, and it has been good for me because I took this one with great enthusiasm. It's been 120 hours of long journey to complete it. The Viking setting is very successful and graphically looks spectacular and at 60fps rocky (sadly I found few bugs here and there but they release patches frequently to solve them). Highly recommended.

    One of the best assassin's creed games in my opinion. A lot of humour in the sidemissions, which makes them a lot of fun to do instead of just a grind.

    Avor is a great protagonist
    Addictive Progression
    Combat is OK - Bow and arrow not so good

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla takes a step back from it's predecessor in the gameplay aspect but delivers with a great and compelling story. The setting wasn't really my thing unlike Odessey but I still couldn't stop playing. There were too many collectibles though..

    "Это лучшая серия AC" - говорили они.
    "Бери не пожалеешь!" - слышал я. Я зашел и поиграл меньше 2 часов, вышел и жалею эти 2 часа. Результатом оценки послужило: - Тряпочные враги, которые после смерти отлетают от героя, словно Эйвор это Тор; - Я провалился

    Результатом оценки послужило:
    - Тряпочные враги, которые после смерти отлетают от героя, словно Эйвор это Тор;
    - Я провалился под снег, затем под скалы, затем упал с крыши (через нее), иначе говоря баги;
    - При осадах, нападениях, товарищи рядом, создают массовку, но не наносят внятного урона, это убивает реализм;
    - Магазин, опять этот %$#@& магазин, который дает тебе сэкомить время на сборах ресурсах - идите нахрен с такой игрой, где full прайс дает тебе возможность играть в AAA по правилам FTP.

    Резюмирую: я больше в жизни не возьму игр от Ubisoft. Для меня это мертвая студия с огромной прибылью, серия Assasin встала в один ряд в моих глазах с FIFA, Call of Duty.

    Story is very good and well written for the main quests, the 'side quests' (map objectives) could still see some work in future games, as most of them are not that interesting and can feel a bit grindy when going for 100% completion. But at the same time the roaming around for them emerges you in the beautifully crafted world.

    Throughout my playthrough i encountered a few bugs and had to reload a few times, but nothing major, and this can happen in an open world game of this size.
    As far as open world games go, it's not of the level of an RDR2 or H:ZD yet, but it's getting close. If they work on making the side content more engaging in the next title, it could be the perfect open world game.

    Story is surprisingly good, it almost sucks to bring it out like some BIG thing, but Odyssey's story was too "all over the place" and boring, at least to me. It had way too much pointless filler. Valhalla actually innovates a lot and feels more like Black Flag and Unity in 2020.

    It's was very much playable already, but needed some work. After today's patch 1.0.4 it's basically perfect. All major issues i had are now fixed and it plays well on any system. Graphics look better than ever, framerate is solid. Amazing game!

    All major issues were fixed in today's patch, whoever still gives it anything below 7/10 is not actual Assassin's Creed fan and your opinion doesn't count. It's one of the better Assassin's Creed games ever and if you don't like it, go play your avengers. Keep your hands off this awesomeness, if you give it 0 or 1 out of 10, you clearly don't deserve to play games like this anyway.

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
