    Runs perfectly fine on my system, could use some patches, but still. Whoever gives this game score under 7, i don't even take them seriously as gamers. These are just sad angry people who don't know how to enjoy good things. They like to whine about everything and anything. This game is strong candidate for "The Game Awards" nomination. Best game of November 2020.

    Reminds me black flag, parkour kinda feels like unity. Overall cities, buildings, norway, england, everything is just so well made. Gonna play this for very long time. Can't wait for Ireland dlc.

    It's very much an assassin's creed game, more than Odyssey ever could have been. Hidden blade is back, hood is back, one shot assasinations are back. It just has huge world and that's the future of any game series and i personally like when there's more content, more places to go. Black Flag did EXACTLY the same in 2013 already. Rockstar has made all their GTA worlds bigger with each gameIt's very much an assassin's creed game, more than Odyssey ever could have been. Hidden blade is back, hood is back, one shot assasinations are back. It just has huge world and that's the future of any game series and i personally like when there's more content, more places to go. Black Flag did EXACTLY the same in 2013 already. Rockstar has made all their GTA worlds bigger with each game and i guarantee GTA 6 will have biggest map they have ever created.     There's only four games from 2020 that i can say truly deserve to be nominated at "The Game Awards", these are : Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Doom Eternal, Half Life Alyx and Assassin's creed Valhalla. Tony Hawk 1+2 Remake was really nice, but come on, all in all it's not that revolutionary.

    I like this game so, so, so much i'm going to recommend it to absolutely everyone i know.
    Whoever gives this anything less than 6 must have special place in hell.

    From graphical standpoint this game is absolute masterclass, they really hit the nail with both Norway and England. This game's soundtrack is one of the most beautiful and relaxing soundtracks i have heard in long time in any video game. Combat is good, cities look interesting enough. There's many places to climb and parkour on. Overall very good.

    Solid Assassin's Creed game, other than meh performance at times and some bugs, i have nothing really bad to say. They should bring it to steam, then it would be way easier to review this game.

    I'm happy to say that this game is amazing and according to Ubisoft it was huge success on sales, thank god.

    Support this game, if you wanna see more good Assassin's Creed games. If you don't support this then they will go back to Odyssey with next one. Whoever says that these games are generic or pointless are clearly very clueless people. They most likely don't even know / care about history that much. They just wanna whine about every game Ubisoft makes, because they think it makes them look cool, but in reality it makes them look stupid, because Assassin's Creed has millions of fans all over the world and they clearly understand the appeal of these games. These are likely more level headed people, so no wonder they don't come to sites like metacritic, they don't even care about places like that. But this site attracts losers who just wanna hate and whine. I Found this news-site from 2017 that was about "fake reviews on AC Origins". Then why has nobody removed all these fake zeros?? Or maybe they don't care anymore, because last of us 2 gets 100s of fake positive and negative reviews every single day. I can say one thing, i will support Ubisoft till the day i die, they make good video games and it's very clear that they get hate because they are popular. If haters would get their way and all these other companies would go away then gaming would be dead because we would get 1 game in 5 years. Because that's all they want.     Been playing 40 hours and everything is good so far. I prefer absolutely every detail in this one over Odyssey. Big improvement!

    Why so many negative reviews? Yeah there are some bugs, but overall it's one of the best games i have played from 2020 lineup. Just cause you have some problems with game doesn't automatically mean you have to give it 0 okay?     Been fan of AC series for 5-6 years and this is one of the better games they have made. Odyssey has nothing on it. Would recommend.

It's honestly sad to see that gaming landscape has become so weak and only boring and extremely simple games like spider-man: miles morales or demon's souls get attention, while games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla where you actually need to think get pushed aside.     Extremely fun game, if you actually know what you are doing. If you are used to linear games that tell you what to do at every second then don't even try AC Valhalla, it's clearly not for you. This games focuses on fact that YOU will explore the world, YOU will make YOUR own journey. If you don't like these kinds of games, there's no point trying it.

Literally any joy i feel from gaming would be gone and it would be gone because i would know that i'm part of community that doesn't understand greatness.     Been playing over 30 hours and i absolutely love it so far, would recommend to anyone who likes big open world games.

    Finally something new to play, i have explored most of England already, but there's just so much and imo it's not filler. Most of it is actually interesting, for example underground tunnels and stuff like that is really cool.     Reminds me Unity in some parts, specially tone wise, it's darker than Odyssey. As fan of Unity is appreciate it a lot. Also parkour is back, story is fun, but my favorite part so far has been just endless exploring. Can't wait to see what they do with Paris and Ireland.    … Expand

    AC Valhalla has very big map and it's very long game, so basically if you don't like long game, there's no point trying this one. But if you do like long games, it's very solid. One of the better AC games imo.

    There's way too much negativity on metacritic already, so i will try to be more positive, it's not 10/10 game obviously, but it's like 8.5/10 for sure.

    Glad to see Ubisoft back better than ever. Now that they have fixed Assassin's Creed, hopefully Far Cry 6 will be also good, can't wait!

    Positives, - Many combat abilities, climbing feels smooth, parkour is okay, graphics are beautiful (one of the best i have seen in 2020) , story is 80% fun, very good soundtrack music / menu music is very relaxing.

    Negatives, - Performance could be better at times (but overall it runs well enough), some bugs.     This is good, i mean it. But Far Cry 6 needs to be something completely new, they can't make another Far Cry 5, NO, because we already have that game. It has to stand out, it has to be different, if it isn't, delay it already! And next wave of Ubisoft games needs to have complete re-invention in 2022-2023. Stuff like Prince of Persia remake with weak animations needs to be gone, forever.This is good, i mean it. Valhalla is first good step into the future of Ubisoft, it's really well done game, but now things need to go even further. Really DEEPLY focus on writing, Valhalla is good, go even more deep! Invest more into your products, you have good directors, give them all the freedom the need! I know you can make good stuff, you have done it past, you can do it again, i really believe it.
    I believe in you Ubisoft, because i have really liked some of your games (AC 4 Black Flag, AC Unity (after patches obviously), Far Cry 3 and even some Ghost Recon Games, even Watch Dogs 1 was good, even tho it wasn't perfect. I would hate to see you go down like this. What you did in 2019 is unforgivable, but every company messes up at times, In fact all your games have better writing than Fallout 4 or Fallout 76, not that it's good comparison, but just saying. But you need to take Rockstar as your inspiration and i feel, in a way you already do. That's good! Just focus on quality, fix more bugs before release and just do good games. That's all it takes. I'm so far loving Valhalla and i have high hopes for Far Cry 6 and future of Ubisoft, Please don't let me and all your fans down!    … Expand

    Combat (to me) feels okay, i have read some youtube comments that "combat is so bad", i strongly disagree. I bet they watched some youtube who told that he didn't like combat and now some people just spread false information. It's not perfect, but far from bad. Would recommend.

    Maybe little bit early to review it, because i haven't finished main story, but i like it a lot.
    I hardly had any interest in missions in Odyssey, but Valhalla is different. Might be one of the best games i have played this year, alongside Doom Eternal.

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
