Un jeu incroyable, avec une narration folle, des paysages a couper le souffle, et des moments d'exploration à la uncharted.

Poor graphics and poor optimization for next-gen console (30fps and not even 4k). As soon as you move, the graphics get ugly

Sad that you don’t get the same experience as PC or Xbox. Looks great IF YOU STAND STILL.

-An eye-catching and impactful sound design experience-

Coming off completing the first one, it's nice to see the studio build upon what made that one so special. Sure performance is questionable, but never game breaking for me. I played on a Series X and didn't have any crashes or anything game breaking. The game visually, is stunning but the soundtrack is superb and I cant stress

Definitely recommend playing this one.

    Good-
Endearing cast of characters; Captivating story from beginning to end; A much longer and meatier experience; Very well paced; Makes plenty of smart improvements to both stealth and combat; Straightforward mechanics come together a surprisingly complex and varied gameplay experience; The rats are absolutely bonkers; Looks absolutely gorgeous.
Bad- Writing is often clumsy; Forced

Writing is often clumsy; Forced combat sequences feel frustratingly clunky.

    Thoughts-
A Plague Tale: Requiem is an absolute gem of a game. It’s not flawless, but it outdoes its predecessor in just about every way possible. Most of the improvements it makes might seem small and very iterative in isolation, but all of those smart changes come together to deliver a gameplay experience that feels significantly meatier and, as a result, much more enjoyable- and of course, the story, in spite of some writing inconsistencies, continues to shine. If A Plague Tale: Innocence laid down a solid foundation, Requiem builds a sleek and impressive tower on top of it. It’s one of the best games of the year.

By the time A Plague Tale: Requiem concludes, it will feel like being dragged by a pick-up truck, across miles of concrete. The world depicted is a bleak and cruel one with no light at the end of the tunnel. Players will be getting their money's worth, as this is a very long game that is punctuated with lots of gimmicky sequences that add value to the package. The story does have a lot for fans to discuss, and the visuals are amazing, even if they came at the cost of a high frame rate. The gameplay is technically better than the first, but it was never amazing to begin with. The over reliance on prebaked contextual actions and the rigidness of simplistic stealth is something most could expect from a seventh gen console title, not a ninth gen console release.

If you are on a quest to find a video game that could make you cry, may your quest end right here. A continuation of a story that was fine on its own, Requiem delivers one of the most powerful stories ever conceived in a video game. But be wary of the framerate drops on the PlayStation 5 console, which bring their own set of unforeseen despair.

An essential purchase if you enjoyed Innocence, and an imperfect but gripping starting point if you missed it. Hopefully not the end of the tale. [Issue#21, p.80]
