    There is not enough mode with 60 frames per second, because it was possible to add such a mode, even at a resolution of 1080p, as well as voice acting in Russian, since reading subtitles is very distracting from the gameplay and does not allow you to properly immerse yourself in the game. The rest turned out to be quite an exciting adventure.

Definitely the best game of the year for me, i value story and plot a lot and i miss games that take it as seriously as they did in A Plague Tale. From captivating characters to a well-constructed and well-guided narrative during gameplay, different styles of combat, make you feel in the shoes of someone with no specific training like Amicia, graphics i don't even speak, how beautiful...the game has points that can improve like all the others but overall it's an amazing and unique experience, at least for me, the second only game that made me cry for a long time.… Expand

    A sequel of epic proportions! Up par with the first game if not better. The story is very good and well written and a few added mechanics breathes what is already a familiar gameplay a new life into it.

    Gave it a 10 to up the overtall rating. This is an 8.6 outa 10 for me. The combat and stealth is holding this game back. But the story and characters in this game is fantastic, the performance of amicia’s actress is flawless and is one of the best perfomance in a game ever.

    I don't know how to start this review. I cannot express in words this game. It broke me. I was expecting the same level of quality as the first game. I got more... A LOT MORE than that. I got a rare feeling I only got when I finished one of a kind games like The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Last of us. GOTY material. This game has left a big hole inside me that cannotI don't know how to start this review. I cannot express in words this game. It broke me. I was expecting the same level of quality as the first game. I got more... A LOT MORE than that. I got a rare feeling I only got when I finished one of a kind games like The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Last of us. GOTY material.     This game is excellent in most important aspects such as the story, accuracy and beauty of the art in the game world. I enjoyed trying it and I hope the development team will work on a new part, to see the creativity and art they will present and push the world of games forward.

Amazing game,even better than the first one.There are more mechanicks in the game that really spice up your game play and the story is perfection.In the first game we didnt exacly know why this plague started and we thought its was because of the rats and the Macula,but it is way more deeper than that.I kind of didnt like the ending where Hugo died but i think thats just me not wanting to let go of him but its ok,its still a amazing game overall and i cant wait for the 3rd one.I just hope Amicia is going to be in the next game with Sophia.There was a post credit scene where we are shown a hand of a baby infected from the Macula showing us that a 3rd game will maybe come but who knows.I just have one issue with it in the back round we can hear somekind of machine and someone on high heels,telling us that that post credit scene is maybe set in modern time.I dont think its going to be a good idea to have the next game in modern time because that means that we wont have Amicias signature weapon the sling witch is a magura part of the games weapons that Amicia uses,and that would mean that we cant play Amicia because when we play as Amicia its in the year 1346,but then thath would mean that Amicia is dead before another carrirer is born.I think the 3rd game should be about Amicai,Sophia,Lucas,the next carirer,the protector and maybe some new characters to come along our journey.But i mean thats just my opinion,i just think its better to keep the origional cast and maybe like 5 years after Requiem.Ive seen that the studio that made this game(forgot the name)does not have andy plans yet for the series,but they have said that they are going to wait for the reviews for the game before they have plans for a 3rd plague tale game,but considering that the reviews for now are great i think we are looking foward to another plague tale game.I just can wait what they are going to do with the 3rd game!… Expand

    Un chef d'oeuvre tout simplement. J'avais beaucoup apprécié A Plague Tale Innocence. Celui-ci nous permet d'accompagner les personnages plus loin dans leur histoire. Celle-ci est très bien écrite, surprenante et haletante. Les graphismes sont de très grande qualité. La musique d'Olivier Derivière est parfaite et accompagne parfaitement les moments de tension et d'émotion. La dualsense etUn chef d'oeuvre tout simplement.     This game is amazing!
    The story is so dynamic, touching and moving. The graphics are stunning and very detailed in detail. Mechanics and puzzles were involved as well as stealth tactics. Every single character has a profound role.

And I do have to say that it still requires a lot of optimization. However, don't let that scare you away, the story is extremely well written, it manages to add a lot of lore to the story already established by the first one without making it too confusing or overwhelming, and what an ending, it made me tear up, and it will absolutely break your heart.     The graphics is insane!!! Good storytelling with interesting characters. Story is not to short and the scenery of this game is very good. It is in my opinion a masterpiece because of the incredibly good told storyline

    A really nice story driven game, improving on the first game's mechanics and character development is one of the best ones i have ever seen in a video game. If it had some new mechanics and less walking sim parts this would be an amazing game for me

    Best game I have ever played. Incredible voice acting, an emotional and touching bond between brother and sister, gorgeous graphics, incredible music, and a very touching and emotional story that stays with you for weeks and weeks after you finish the game. Play only if you are a story focused gamer. If you liked the Last of Us, you will love this!

    It's s great game with a very adult plot. The artistic direction is incredibly satisfactory. It has some performance issues but overall they are minor since they only occur un specific areas. Most important, they are a 2AA studio.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was worried that the second outing wouldn't live up to how great the first game was - but my goodness, how wrong was I!

    Amicia has clearly developed as a character since the last game, now noticeably stronger and more determined - she seems to be walking a tightrope of giving into all of the killing though; and the voice actress does a compelling job of conveying all the hurt and angst.

    The game looks phenomenal - one of the best looking games on the PS5, the lower FPS cap really isn't an issue, as it's not a twitch shooter. The sound is also very moving and jarring when needed - it adds yet another dimension of quality to an already great package.

    The story was also brilliant - started slowly, but pulls you in more and more. Very few games have me genuinely caring for the characters; but Requiem had me rooting for all, and the conclusion was a real tear-jerker. I get waiting and hoping that the end wasn't what it was, expecting Hugo to pop up - but alas.

    This is easily one of the best games I have played - I always held TLOU as my greatest game, but this might topple it, or at the least sit alongside.

    Hope this gets GOTY but sadly the public decide that, and people will likely vote some cookie cutter trash like COD.

    This, and Innocence, are fantastic adult games - I urge anyone who loves a great story to buy them both, you will not be disappointed.    … Expand

    بالنهاية اللعبة مطبقه مفهوم ال Psychological Realism بالقصة والقيمبلاي بشكل مميز وهذا اللي عجبني من الاول.

The story is well-written and well-paced. You feel connected with the characters and their suffering. Finishing the game left me wanting more. The Plague Tale franchise reached new heights and Asobo studio is now a definite AAA playerBreathtaking journey to already a brilliant first instalment. The bond between Hugo and Amicia is one of the best in gaming and the graphics are absolutely beautiful. Sadly the game runs at a locked 30 fps but it more than makes up for it with all the rats on screen and some of the best graphics in gaming unlike Gotham knights which runs at 30 fps but somehow has worse combat and graphics than Arkham knight from 2015.

    The gameplay is also very satisfying and it rewards quick thinking and cunning. The voice acting is also top notch especially for Amicia. Lastly i won't spoil anything but the ending for this game will make you cry and it will definitely stick in your head for a few days. It is one of the most shocking endings I've ever seen in a video game.    … Expand

È un gioco fortemente story driven e poco rigiocabile data la sua linearità di fondo e il genere di appartenenza, ma da vivere intensamente e per cui varrà la pena spendere il vostro tempo. Pesca a piene mani dai migliori, ma mantiene una sua identità ben definita, prendendo quanto c’era di buono nelUn’avventura coinvolgente ed emozionante che tiene incollati allo schermo fino alla fine. È un gioco fortemente story driven e poco rigiocabile data la sua linearità di fondo e il genere di appartenenza, ma da vivere intensamente e per cui varrà la pena spendere il vostro tempo. Pesca a piene mani dai migliori, ma mantiene una sua identità ben definita, prendendo quanto c’era di buono nel primo capitolo ed elevandolo in quasi ogni aspetto. Comparto artistico di spessore con scenari meravigliosi che trasmettono pace e bellezza in alcuni casi, ma soprattutto che riescono a trasmettere il degrado e il marcio in altri, merito anche di un comparto grafico mozzafiato anche a 30 fps (non pregiudicano in alcun modo la godibilità del titolo). Sono rimasto molto stupito per quanto riguarda la recitazione digitale, regia e in generale la spettacolarità di alcune scene, molto cinematografiche e che non mi sarei mai aspettato di trovare in un titolo come questo. Musiche, sonoro e doppiaggi al top (dispiace un po’ per l’assenza del doppiaggio in italiano).
    Non è un gioco perfetto, ha ancora delle criticità di gameplay: una leggera legnosità a tratti e un’IA nemica non brillantissima che fa sfociare a volte il titolo nel trial and error data la natura stealth, infatti, purtroppo, l’approccio a viso aperto andrebbe rivisto, ma tutto sommato questo non va troppo a rovinare l’avventura nel complesso che spinge sempre ad andare avanti con una narrativa incalzante e mai banale e tante novità e senso di scoperta, sia a livello di meccaniche di gameplay, sia a livello di ritmo (ottimo) e varietà di situazioni.
    In definitiva un’opera consigliata senza remore a chiunque. Delle piccole criticità di gameplay non gli permettono purtroppo di raggiungere l’eccellenza, ma davvero complimenti ad Asobo Studio, che con un piccolo team di sviluppo ha portato avanti uno sforzo produttivo enorme e ci ha regalato questa piccola perla videoludica.    … Expand

    This game did a stupendous job at taking the good stuff with its predecessor and building on it, both story-wise and gameplay-wise. I'm personally not too big of a stealth gamer, but I still really enjoyed playing.

    You can also tell the creative direction and graphics were massively improved from the first one, incredible beauty and stuff of nightmares are in this game.

    this is overall a more polished version of the first game but much longer and more fleshed out mechanics like more options for getting through areas, and some quality-of-life things like wait mechanic with Hugo.     By the time A Plague Tale: Requiem concludes, it will feel like being dragged by a pick-up truck, across miles of concrete. The world depicted is a bleak and cruel one with no light at the end of the tunnel. Players will be getting their money's worth, as this is a very long game that is punctuated with lots of gimmicky sequences that add value to the package. The story does have a lot for fans to discuss, and the visuals are amazing, even if they came at the cost of a high frame rate. The gameplay is technically better than the first, but it was never amazing to begin with. The over reliance on prebaked contextual actions and the rigidness of simplistic stealth is something most could expect from a seventh gen console title, not a ninth gen console release.

    If you are on a quest to find a video game that could make you cry, may your quest end right here. A continuation of a story that was fine on its own, Requiem delivers one of the most powerful stories ever conceived in a video game. But be wary of the framerate drops on the PlayStation 5 console, which bring their own set of unforeseen despair.
