    This game was a surprise to me. It was actually damn good. The open world setting reminded me of silent Hill and the amount of creepy and unexpected moments in the game such as an optional area where i broke into a woman's house just to get ambushed and thrown out when I tried to leave because i broke into her house. another moment had me enter a building with nothing in it whatsoever butThis game was a surprise to me. Or a creepy ass apartment that is infested...with giant spiders! It's random things like this that are amazing to experience in a horror game. I'm glad I got this one… Expand

    Hanwell was a pleasant surprise for me. The graphics aren't next gen but aren't so horrible that it takes away from the experience. The best part of the game is the music, it sets the tone and adds to the creepiness. The story was interesting enough and I enjoyed the twist at the end. Overall Hanwell is worth the cheap price of admission. It got my heart racing on more than one occasion.

    Really good horror game with lot of potential and a mix from other games like Silent Hill and Outlast. The only downside is that you cannot keep an inventory with weapons or you cannot keep track of which house you visited or a simple way point. The game has some power ups which come too little too late and an arena mode to kill monsters.     Great game! Love horror games!! The music is great adds a lot to the creepiness..and believe me, there’s a lot of that in this game. Is not gore is simply good horror. You will feel a sense of dread and tension all the time. Bravo for the devs. It could use of a little improvements : the storyline , characters and the ending could’ve been more developed, the use of inventory to carryGreat game! Love horror games!!
